    Salaam Brother Mazhar,

I read the portion of the exhaustive article that your good self suggested. I would like to make following observations

1958-59 ? Each and every prophet irrespective of the time was the one who devotedly adhered to
    Salat.

(So the claim that Salat was enjoined from Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) does not hold water.)

    319, 4213, 384-85, 1072, 2278 ? All Prophets were Muslim.

(So claiming Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) as the father of Muslims is erroneous.)

The dweller of pre-conceived minds who advocate ritualistic Salat lay emphasis on Ka?aba being built by Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail (PBUT) by twisting the meaning of some of the verses whereas none of the verses in Al-Quran suggest that Ka?aba was built by them (at least for the first time).

None of the verses of Al-Quran suggest that the previous prophets performed ritualistic Salat five times a day. I don?t know why there is an insistence for labeling Salat as a ritual.

I reiterate my earlier observation that you need to revisit the entire concept de-novo.

May Allah(swt) lead us to the Truth.

You need to read it with open eyes and mind starting from 1902. And see names of Messengers referred therein who maintained the instiution of Salaat and generations after them lost it.

Other Ayahs are also quoted therein in the article. Why not you refer them and refute the translation thereunder?

        Salaam brother Azhar,

Have you read them carefully from 1902 to 1959? Do you deny my observation - Each and every prophet irrespective of the time was the one who devotedly adhered to Salat? I don't know why you are in doubt? I would request you to kindly read again for the sake of clarity.

May Allah(swt) lead us to the Truth.

          Salamun alaika,

You ignore qualifications attached. They all are from and after Ibrahim alshissalam; and not each and every. He was the first who was required to institute the Protocol of As-Salat.

            Salaam Brother Mazhar,

            (i) You mean even Prophet Idris(PBUH) (1956) was after Prophet Ibrahim(PBUH).
(ii) You mean 'Nabiyyeen' mentioned in 1958 who were from the seed of Bani Adam, Noah and his trusted companion, Ibrahim and Israel refers to the Prophets from and after Prophet Ibrahim(PBUH).
(iii) Prophet Idris has been mentioned in 1956 as 'siddeeqan nabiyyan'. Verse 2177 defines 'sadaqoo'. I mean what qualifications are required to be called a 'siddeeq'.
(iv) To me, 1958 read with 1959 give an understanding that all the prophets adhered to Salat devotedly but the people who succeeded them lost the Salat.

I would request you again to kindly have a re-look.

              Salam,

Please keep eyes on the words of Qur'aan, don't overlook a single word as is done in reading other texts; segment the sentences; do not generalize the specific information.

The aforementioned by name were those.
Prepositional Phrase about the circumstantial clause
? ? Appositive by repeating Min

It is clarified that except Easa alahissalam other people are all progeny of Adam alahissalam.
              Then are mentioned by specifics.

              The aforementioned by name were those upon whom Allah the Exalted showered blessings. They are the members of the group of Chosen and distinctly exalted sincere Allegiants;Genetically they were the progeny of Adam and specifically of those whom We uploaded in the ship along with Noah ;
And were genetically the progeny of Iebra'heim and Iesraa'eel ; and they were whom We had guided and We had chosen.
When the Aa'ya'at of Ar'Reh'maan were recited upon them they kneeled down prostrating with eyes overflowing with tears.

None of those mentioned in 1902-58 is the progeny of Noah alahissalam. They are the progeny of Men who were accompanying him in the ship-the stauch believers.

It is further made distinct that Ibrahim alahissalam is the progeny of one of those staunch monotheist believers who were with Noah alahissalam.

Before I comment, let me hear you properly. I am waiting to hear about Prophet Idris(PBUH) mentioned in 1956? He was among the adherent of Salat or not?

It is conspicously evident; all mentioned before are referred and included.

                    peace Mazhar,

These comments are with regard to this salat article of yours.

You discuss 2238 and assume there are two salat each side of al salat al wusta - why two? why not 3 each side etc

In 2238 why mention one of the five salat separately according to you, when it is already covered by the plural salawat?

According to you, which salat can be done on the move (2239) "al salat al wusta" or the other "salawat"? And what is your evidence for this.

what is your evidence for "zulaf" meaning "early"?

You repeatedly cite "salat al fajr" and "salat al 3sha" as reference points but you have no reference for the other alleged 3 salat hence refer to them as "this al salat" or "al salat for the point in time of...".etc etc - why does Quran not clarify the reference terms for the alleged other 3 in your view? If it does give the terms, please provide them.

When discussing "salat al fajr" with me you said this is not a name of a "salat" but in your article you state "The other two prescribed al salat are also NAMED by the point in time" (then you reference 245

You seemingly contradict yourself when you say "The remaining two timings for al salat are at two visual transition EDGES of the day which are in the LATER day..." - ask anyone about what the two edges of daytime are and they will never discuss them being later in the day.

                    8 )
You seemingly have no break in-between some salat.

Some of your 5 salat have specific times AND time-ranges whilst others do not - why?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Root " ". For convenience, an entry from Lane's Lexicon is reproduced hereunder

properly, the part of which several lateral, or outer, portions are equal; as, for instance, the middle finger but also meaning the part which is surrounded, or enclosed, on its several sides, although unequally (Msb) or the part that is between the two sides or extremities of a thing; (M, IB, Mgh, K as, for instance, the centre of a circle]

Yes, two, three, four, five can be on each side of same object- here Salaat.

Since it is a definite noun-referring to the specific Salaat which is in the centre of equivalent number of specific As-sallat on its laterals.

Specific number of As-Salaat is with reference to five timings-schedule which is mentioned in the article thereunder by quoting relevant Ayahs. Thereby the Al-Wusta has two each on its laterals.

Do you think it is abnormality in the manner of placing emphasis by repeating with reference to a unit of whole in a compound sentence?

According to you, which salat can be done on the move (2239) "al salat al wusta" or the other "salawat"? And what is your evidence for this.

After command, exception for exigencies of situations are mentioned. For As-Salat one has to stand in humble posture; when it is not adviseable to stop, permission is granted not to stand and verbally perform the As-Salat whichever of schedules timings it is.

It is already explained in the Article.

http//haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Tabweeb%20Part%202/09.%20Roots%20originating%20in%20Sura%20011/12.%20Zulfan%20Ze%20Laam%20Fa/1.gif It is an Indefinite; broken plural; feminine noun in accusative case. The basic perception is to approach or draw near. These moments-duration is then described by its boundaries in the Ayah quoted therein-in this part

The timings are set with reference to current local solar ephemeris of people.

                                  1. Does 4/102 describe a physical prostration or something else?

                                  2. Is 4/103 incumbent upon Mumins (49/15) and not upon Muslims (49/14) to observe the physical Salat?

                                  3. Does 2/43 refer to physical bowing or obeisance?

"O Mary, you shall submit to your Lord, and prostrate and bow down with those who bow down."

                                      Peace,

Is 3/43 a physical prostration or prostration of another kind?

"Sahih International And when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, "Do not
associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those
who stand and those who bow and prostrate.." 2226-27

Are the directives of 22/26-27 physically to be carried out or are they metaphors?

                                      God bless

                                      peace

                                        Peace Mazhar,

No offense intended, but your links are exhaustive, could you please answer the questions
with simple yes/no with explanation however short or long.

                                        example

Run = verb = an action

to go quickly by moving the legs more rapidly than at a walk and in such a manner
that for an instant in each step all or both feet are off the ground.

Prostration = SJD = verb= an action 1. the act of prostrating. (physical)
                                        2. the state of being prostrated.
                                        3. obeisance (mental)
                                        4. humbly submissive

                                        God bless

                                        peace

Since when brother Mazhar confronted me to the Verse of Al-Quran (7442-43) wherein it is mentioned that 'the hell dweller would be admitting and lamenting that they were not among the observant of Salat', I am very much worried and perturbed too.

I am worried because what will happen to me? How I could include myself among the observant of Salat? I mean, entire world order seems to be confused on this issue. There is a great deal of divergence ? (i) the Sunni way (ii) Shiia way (iii) Ahle-hadith way (iv) Rashadan way (v) Mazharan way ? most confusing ?Time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance? (vi) etc. etc.

I am perturbed because what will happen to the Prophets and Messengers prior to Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and their followers? As per brother Mazhar?s understanding, all the Prophets and Messengers prior to Prophet Ibrahim(PBUH) were obviously not among the observant of Salat.

                                          Salaam!
