Define Your Definition For Clarification Without Confusion: Qur'aan Alone = = ?
-
Where in the Qur'an does it say Prophet was infallible? Do you know what infallible is? No human is perfect. God is perfect.
When no human is perfect, how can the words that come from an imperfect person be perfect?
The compilation of the Quran was done by again fallible people.
You said Quran explained everything in detail than there is no need for a Prophet (sawa), Allah can come down directly to us and handover the Kitab with all 114 Surahs.
You look like breakfast for us peace
Mutta not in the Quran, hahahahah.. This is the result of holding on one Thaqal (weighty thing)
If the prophet said "Yo man, I'm hungry." <------- This phrase is not Divine. So saying all words that come out of a person's mouth is Divine is a blasphemy.
God sends Messengers to mankind to be warners, not to make laws by themselves.
Yes mutaa is NOT in the Qur'an but it is accepted in Shia cult. rotfl
"This is the utterance of an Honorable Messenger" from 6940 shows that the Qur'an is also the utterance of the messenger of God.
And read the whole chapter 69 (Surah al-Haqqa), there are verses that say God prohibited the Prophet from making his own teachings or if ge did it, God would punish him.

I am new here, but my deen is Tashayyu', shia of Ameer ul Mumineen (as)
I realised people here are Quranist. I follow what my Master Abul Qasim (sawa) told us I leave behind two weighty things Quran and my 'Itrah Ahlul Bayti.
My master is God.
As for your doctrine, its false, together with the history which has been created to support it.

+salaam brother
Welcome to the discussion forum. This thread was made with the intention to give those who believe in 'Qur'aan Alone' the opportunity to to define what they mean themselves. My intention is to utilize these definitions for further discussions inshaa AALLAAH.
An Important Correction
The messenger of ALLAAH (S+) did not say, "I leave behind two weighty things Quran and my 'Itrah Ahlul Bayti." He said the following
Thirmidhi, Hadith 3786,
Jabir ibn Adbullah said
?I Saw the Messenger of Allaah (S+) during his Hajj .
He was upon his camel al-qaswa, giving a Khutbah ( speech), so he said
O people! Indeed, I have left among you, that which if you hold fast to it, you shall not go astray
The Book (al-kitaab) of ALLAAH,
and
the "itrah (stem or select descendants)
- the family of the my house ('ahl-ul-bayt)? (Sahih)
Thirmidhi, Hadith 3788
Zaid ibn Arqam, narrated that the Messenger of ALLAAH (S+) said,
?Indeed, I am leaving among you, that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me.
One of them is heavier than the other
The Book (al-kitaab) of Allah
which is a rope extended from the sky to the earth,
and
my "itrah (stem or select descendants)
? the family of my house ?
and
the two of them shall not become separated from each other
until they meet me at the Hawd (Pond in after life),
so look at how you deal with them after me.?
The Book (al-kitaab) and my "itraH (select descendants)- which is the family of "imraan (abuw Taalib). He did not say the Qur'aan which was already given to and in possession of the wider community.
I would also caution you to stay within the rules because it would be good to discuss with you other concepts inshaa ALLAAH.
+salaam

Al-?Irbaad ibn Saariyah, may Allaah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said ?Would any of you think, reclining on his couch, that Allaah would only describe what is forbidden in the Qur?aan? I tell you, by Allaah, that I have warned and commanded and prohibited things that are as important as what is in the Qur?aan, if not more so.? (Reported by Abu Dawud, Kitaab al-Khiraj wa?l-imaarah wa?l-fay?).
Ehmmmmmmm... NO.

so the Prophet Muhammad (sawa) is your postman?
-
so the Prophet Muhammad (sawa) is your postman?
Yes he is Gods postman.
What?
Dont you think that is an honorable task? Being the postman of God?
If not, then there are some serious flaws in your cognitive processes.
Seriously, why do sunnis and shias repeat this question with cynicism, as if being a postman of God is something very ordinary?
Ah... yes... comes to my mind, you people have many among you who claim the same. So you are forced to idolize the prophet, so that your claims dont stand out that much
Have a nice day

Salaam Nazzam,
There is because I use the name for the Torah, even if a nickname. Mosaic Law is not accurate but it is a widely known definition to the set of rules originally revealed to Moses even if Muhammad received a book with them included. If you must cough on my usage, feel free to do so.
I am not sure what you are getting at with the good people, but there are lots of examples of good people in Quran. And I primarily meant God's talk about how to be a good person without using a specific named person that I meant. The Quran offers much help on how to be 'good'. Many useful adjectives are present in it and other goodies.
About the abrogation or what to call it; there were prior rules which were changed. It is a pretty easily identified phenomenon. There were some adjustments or clarifications for the advent of Quran. The original main Message has never been changed though.
Call it what you will, law or not. The guidelines offered to Moses are more or less the same as when Quran came. Muhammad did not receive many theological updates. The amount of data received by Moses I have already concluded (in other threads) through reason that it must have been small as it is relatively unlikely that Moses came down with more than a couple of tablets.
Quran elaborates on the whole thing and expands it, perfecting the religion as God Himself formulates it. Quran contains the guidance Moses once received, his scripture and all the prior knowledge.
Are you allergic to the word "law"? Use whatever definition you prefer if that is your case. You prefer guidance as a definition, well it could also be a viable choice, it renders the Message slightly less compulsory to the feel.
The way God formulates Himself in Quran, in my humble opinion, they are expressed as commandments (for those who wish to obey and understand it is God's Message), which we are free to obey or not. Obeying and living by this system will render us winners though in the long run.

Follower of Umar, you dont even understand the meaning in verse (42) are married woman, except what your right hand possesses. This Allah has written for you, and all other women besides these are permitted to you, so that you may seek them out with your wealth, seeking chastity and not fornication. So when you have contracted temporary marriage with them, then give them their words. There is no sin on you for whatever you agree to after this. Indeed, Allah is Knowing, Wise.

?This verse refers to Nikah al Mut?ah, which was permissible in the beginning of Islam then Sharyah deemed it Haram. And in the recitation of Abi bin Ka`ab, Ibn Abbas and Saeed bin Jubayr i.e ila ajal al Musama (for a prescribed period) confirms this. Mutah is a type of Nikah in which man keeps a woman for a prescribed period with a prescribed amount and its acceptance from both sides is also a condition therefore it is useless to call it prostitution? Some Ulema have said that Mutah is still valid just like among Sahabah Ibn Abbas and Imran bin Hussain, they say that this woman is also a wife?

This is an insult to my Master (sawa.
Lets follow your logic, why did the revelation take 20 over years when the "God's Postman" can deliver the message within a day?

Your master doenst exist, he is fictitious.
As for your question, thats the question of a kafir. The quran refers to your mentality already
2532
And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.
My logic? I dont own logic
Logic is universal.
Have a nice day ^^
I am sorry, from now on you will be the victim of my efficiency measures, time is important u know.
And I cant waste it anymore on u.

I am well aware of that verse, i wanted you to produce it, so it can be put back at you.
Strengthen your heart by understanding, the people back then if they had a doubt on a particular verse would go to their Master Sallahu Alaihi wa Aaleh and later to Ameer ul Mumineen (alaihisalam) for clarification and explanation.
Can you explain what "Aleef Lam Meem" stands for in Sura Baqarah?
-
So Mutta is not in the Quran??? LOL

Yes,
The infamous Mutaa a.k.a temporary marriage is NOT in the Qur'an. -

You are committing SHIRK by saying that a human being is your Master
-
Salaam Nazzam,
Fine. Do not call it law. I do not know what with that is so important to you.
You do not even wish to call it commandments? What if God said in Quran; do not do this or that, would you not call it commandments?
God bless you
-
You are committing SHIRK by saying that a human being is your Master
You must be dumb Quranist, lol. How do slaves address heir master? Quran did not prohibit slavery? I am the slave of Prophet (sawa)

O Umari who denies the law of Allah that Mutta is not found in the Quran!
Quran has 7 different recitation and in the recitation of Abi bin Kaab, Mutta is clearly mentioned by Umari scholars!
