In fact what that aya tells women is for the benefit of women, not for any other's benefit. And there is a DIFFERENCE between "showing", "exhibiting" and merely wearing. It does not say dress so that such and suchh part are not seen, nothing laike that, it says "do not show" (la yubdina) do not make a show of your atractions, whaever they may be, because it is not said, but the point is that it is not an isntruction as to what you can wear or not but as to HOW you shold behave. That is why later on in the aya exlains saying somethig about striking the legs or certain ways of walking, because it is no t a matter of aparell or clothes but of behaviour. As sustained in other ayas in the Qur'an, clothes are for comfort and good appearance. Not for selling oneself.

It is a fact that women have for a long time been traded and been trading based on their good looks, that was their main venue of attaining to better standing in life. Beauty has been the main asset, at least the recognized main asset up till now to get ahead in life. Obviously that is not the kind of socity that the Qur'an promotes, where women are for show. Please notice that in the aya women are told amongs those in front of whom they should notmake a show of their attractiveness, women who are not of their family or close circle. So it is not a matter of not attracting men, but something else. So it says also cover your breasts, which upto now are also an element of standing for women, if not officially, most certainlly unofficially.

That part of aya 24.31 is there to protect women from falling into the trap of their own physical apearance as a matter of "moral duty" (you must be beautiful or desirable) for them and as an asset of asserting themselves socially.

So look good and in your clothes or apparell yes, show them off, no. If God meant somethign else, as has already been pointed out, He does not strain for words.

    Salaam

Thanks for the answer, I will think about it.
    Selam.

Muslims shouldn't be pushed to condemn anything. It is also a disgrace and shame that Muslims tend to condemn terrorist attacks in Europe more than in Iraq and Syria when Iraq and Syria are the number one countries that are being attacked by ISIS terrorists

      http//s13.postimg.org/eqj6owijr/12248237_1721046121450040_7360779878370662356_o.jpg

What happened in France is happening everyday in Iraq and Syria.

It becomes clear that many Muslims who condemn the terrorist attack in Europe are not doing this because they sympthatize with the victims but rather because they want to protect their terrible ideologies. Hell even Saudi-Arabia condemned what recently happened in France despite the fact that Saudi-Arabia and ISIS share the same ideology. Now figure out why. Let's not forget the amount of 'Muslims' (even on this forum) who are supporting the same terrorist groups in Syria. They are probaly pretending to 'condemn' what happened in France too. Maajid Nawaz is a great example of a worthless 'Muslim' who pretends to condemn things just to promote his 'moderate Islam'. If you are a Muslim who condemn things for the sake of your ideologies rather than condeming things for the sake of the victims then you are honestly a loser and do not really oppose Islamist groups and in my eyes you are not even a Muslim.

Suicide bombers takes place everyday in Iraq. The Gulf-countries recently waved the French flags but where was the Iraqi flags when +1000 Iraqis (air force cadets and civilians) were massacred by ISIS terrorists in Speicher base (also known as Speicher massacre)? https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camp_Speicher_massacre The Gulf-countries are doing the same terrorism in Yemen too.
Massgraves were recently found in Iraq containing mostly Yezidi women who were executed by ISIS/Daesh.

Absolutely, Muslims shouldn't be apologetic, they should be more outraged. All this fabricated outrage is a result of mainstream media whipping up hysteria.

You got these idiots in the West and they have nothing to be outraged about.

What happened in France was not fake but infact very real and it is time for the European countries to stop their relations with the Gulf countries because the Gulf countries have the same ideology as the terrorists who went on a shooting spree in Paris. However I don't want to talk as If the European countries are somehow unaware, many European countries are very aware of the ideology in Saudi-Arabia and they will still cooperate with the country. Check this video out of David Cameron who can't answer a simple question. He is asked why Britain has relations with Saudi-Arabia that lacks human rights

Please, refute the claim that what happened in France was fake. What is your idea on the conspiracy theories discussed in the videos above?

Well what's the point of faking the recent attack in Paris? ISIS has for long threatned to attack Europe and it has done so several times and will probaly do it in the future too.

The Attackers/Terrorists shouted 'Allahu Akbar' and the brain (who was recently killed during a police raid) behind the France attack was an ISIS supporter

This is a good point, however on the flip side - following the pattern of clear 9/11 and 7/7 staged terror, they'd rather have a certain control over the attacks from an intelligence standpoint just like GLADIO in the 20th Century.

                        Peace all

In any case, the blame game will never stop. The dichotomized world view will reign till the end of time. One "side" will blame another "side". Both "sides" are made up of human beings. The human being in unable to see the faults in him/herself. The human being is incapable of living in peace.

This is actually not about "whosdunnit", because the human being is by default corrupt, and any attempt at blaming any particular group is just uninformed and a waste of time.

The only difference between different groups and ideologies is found in the variables of 1) time, 2) experience/upbringing/brainwash and 3) intensity. And it is all shaped by CHANCE. We are what we are by mere chance (or divine predestination if you wish). But we're all corrupt to some degree.

Any 'holier than thou' attitude stinks. Best of moulds --> lowest of beings.

I was clearly not saying 9/11 was a Saudi job. 9/11 was a US/Israeli job.

Provide a verse in the Quran where Allah orders you to perform 5 daily rituals. Remember, Quran is a guide and not a puzzle game and Allah doesn't beat around the bush. Would it really make any sense for Allah to not be explicit in such important matters regarding salat? Would it make sense for Allah to not be clear about Mecca instead of calling it Bakkah? Would it make any sense for Allah not to be clear about and let alone mention the so called stone cube in Mecca? The forgiving black stone that is kissed in hajj for forgiveness? The magical holy zamzam water?
If this stone cube is holy and five daily rituals are to be performed, please provide a verse in the Quran telling you it is. Please provide these verses without performing mental gymnastics.

Muslims are cursed. They have placed creation(a stone cube) between them and the Creator during their worship. They mention dead people and greet invisible beings in their worship. You do not need sticks, stones or humans to worship your Creator. You do not need 5 daily pagan rituals to worship your Creator. Allah is closer to you than your jugular vein. Allah is always there for you. Allah is all you need because there is nothing but Allah. Allah is he, whom all knowledge originates from. The Source of Knowledge. It makes no sense for the Creator to require the assistance of his own creation, Bukhari and Co or a stone cube.

"Verily, Prayer is enjoined on the believers to be performed at fixed hours." (4104)

"1- Wudu (ablution) as decreed in 56
2- Face Mecca as Qiblah (direction of prayer) as in 2144
3- Commemorate the name of God alone in prayer (6162, 2014)
4- Use Quranic words and not words from any other source, this is the message of 2945
5- Stand, then bow then prostrate in that order while commemorating God."

I cant say pray 5, 3 or 10. But do whatever youd like, God is our only judge and God knows everything.

Saudi-Arabia condeming ISIS is like Hitler condeming Stalin (or vice versa) for killing people.

When a bunch of Islamist nutcase murdered a whole bunch of Shiites Kuffar..
Well they're a kuffar after all, their blood are halal to be shed.. for the sake of Allah religion.

Agreed. It explains why Saudi-Arabia did not sympthatize with those Iraqis who were massacred just because they were Shias. As a Muslim all I can say is if you want a better solution get rid of religion and you will get rid of these religious Saudi savages letalone any so called 'Muslim' who has the intentions of promoting his/her 'moderate Islam'. One thing that truly bothers me about some Arab countries is the fact that they spend billions of dollars letalone any funds on building mosques and religious garbage..

The religion of Islam is on it's way to extinction.. that's for sure..

In the Arab world yes. The constitutions are becoming more secular and liberal as they get rewritten and religious texts are being removed. Look what Egypt did to the Muslim brotherhood and to other Islamist groups. It banned them all. That's not to mention that the majority Muslims are not even Arabs but from other parts of Asia due to the demographics there and because Islam is dying in the Middle East and North-Africa.

Saudi Arabia / Saud Family condemning ISIS is similar to

                                        • Lenin condemning Stalin
                                        • Hitler condemning Himmler
                                        • Reagan condemning Osama Bin Laden

They spend billion of dollar on weapon, including chemical weapon as well.. to wreak havoc on their neighboring countries.. eggh I mean to uphold the religion of Allah...

I'm sorry, as far as I know Saudi Arabia DOES NOT HAVE any constitution.
Everything is left to Saud Family and (Saud funded) Council of Clerics (Majlis Hayat Kibar al Ulama) to decide.

Yah that and on European prostitution and drugs (especially captagon pills + cocaine).

I'm sorry, as far as I know Saudi Arabia DOES NOT HAVE any constitution.

Well I was excluding Saudi-Arabia. Saudi-Arabia has nothing to do with the Arab world. Saudi-Arabia is a result of pan-Islamism (which opposes pan-Arabism) and not pan-Arabism. The barbarism in Saudi-Arabia today comes from pan-Islamism. Propagandists like Aidid Safar will never mention this fact instead he will try to blame Arabs acting as if Arabs somehow hjiacked Islam despite the fact that the same people who hjiacked Islam opposed pan-Arabism. ISIS burns the Palestinian, Iraqi, Syrian and any other 'non-Islamic' flag because it opposes pan-Arabism. Its ideology is Islamism.

If anything pan-Arabism has always promoted equality and secularism. For example this political party which was banned from Saudi-Arabia by the Saudi regime https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_Socialist_Action_Party_%E2%80%93_Arabian_Peninsula

All the political parties that are secular, that calls for democracy in the Arab world, are Arab nationalist political parties and never Islamist dominated parties. These pan-Arab parties are considered a threat by the West which is why Western politicians have been supporting their savagery Islamist 'moderate' regimes. The same people in Paris that massacred over hundred people are the same terrorists the West is supporting in the Arab Peninsula. Check out this video of David Cameron who can't answer a simple question. He is asked why Britain has relations with Saudi-Arabia that lacks human rights https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMh7RG6_Tp4

Also It is outrageous that Muslims get attacked by right-wing morons. Muslims are one of the biggest victims of ISIS and they are also victims of European right-wing attacks. European right-wingers will never mention the fact that their own garbage politicians (who are probaly right-wingers as well) are supporting regimes who have the same ideology as the recent attackers in Paris. Meanwhile the majority people that are fighting against ISIS are actually Muslims.

                                          Crimes by right-wingers
