"Verily, Prayer is enjoined on the believers to be performed at fixed hours." (4104)

"1- Wudu (ablution) as decreed in 56
2- Face Mecca as Qiblah (direction of prayer) as in 2144
3- Commemorate the name of God alone in prayer (6162, 2014)
4- Use Quranic words and not words from any other source, this is the message of 2945
5- Stand, then bow then prostrate in that order while commemorating God."

I cant say pray 5, 3 or 10. But do whatever youd like, God is our only judge and God knows everything.

    1. The words "Wudu" or "ablution" are nowhere to be found in 56. Just a baseless interpretation telling you to wash your arms, face, head and legs which makes no sense. You're told by Allah step-by-step how to perform this washing ritual without even calling it something but not told step-by-step how to peform the salat ritual itself the same clear and precise way as this washing process is explained. This leaves only with two explanations. Either Allah forgot to tell us how to perform the salat ritual but told us how to step-by-step wash before performing it OR this is a false interpretation. What if you were born deformed? How would a disabled person perform this washing ritual which hasn't even got a name in the Quran? Do you really think Allah would deprive a person born deformed to not be able to salat since you have to perform this nameless washing ritual "before rising for salat" as this interpretation claims?

The same verse you quoted(56) ends with the following; "Allah does not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that you may be grateful."
This interpretation contradicts itself since you need a pair of hands and legs to perform this nameless washing ritual whenever you rise for salat. What if there is no water available? Oh yes, you make yourself even dirtier by rubbing soil on yourself. What if you're born disabled? No explanation is given for that in the Quran.
Assuming this interpretation is true, people born disabled are automatically excluded from performing the nameless washing ritual and salat. That isn't fair hence this is a false interpretation. Every sane human has the ability to perform salat. Quran talks about not being able to perform salat while intoxicated. This means you only need a sound and sober mind, not legs, arms, feet, mouth or ears. Even deaf people can perform salat. True salat happens in the mind. The 5 daily pagan rituals gives Muslims the illusion of righteousness. It feeds their ego.

    1. MAINSTREAM INTERPRETATION "We have certainly seen the turning of your face, , toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you are, turn your faces toward it . Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do."

Removing the falsely inserted words that cannot be found in the Quran gives you the following.

"We have certainly seen the turning of your face, toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you are, turn your faces toward it. Indeed, those who have been given the Scripture well know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do."

Please tell me WITHOUT mental gymnastics, where in that verse Allah orders you to "face Mecca as qiblah" as you claim. Please find me the stone cube in Mecca in this verse. Muslims have put a stone cube between them and Allah during worship. These mushriks only worship Allah when including stones and mention dead people in their pagan rituals they call salat.

    1. You cannot commemorate Allah alone in salat while performing perfoming pagan rituals that is falsely labelled as salat.

    2. Quran contains stories of prophets. Reciting Quran while worshipping Allah means you're mentioning dead people in your salat. Only Allah can be mentioned during salat.

The verse you quoted; "Recite, what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do."

Physical movements does not prevent immorality. On top of that, the verse itself tells you that the remembrance of Allah is greater, not making physical movements and worshipping a stone cube.

5.Stand, bow and prostrate has nothing to do with physical actions. This has been debunked in many other threads here. The hijackers of the Quran spread false interpretation and over years convinced people that these words means physical movements. They did the same with the word Zakah. Zakah has nothing to do with charity. Zakah is purification. Since these pagans couldn't tamper with the Quran, they invented their own language.

      Peace.

Are there 5" salat" per day? Shall we start

Sura 1 proves there are 5 daily contact prayers

      Chapter 1 has 7 verses
17 is the number of Rakaats/ units in the 5 daily prayers.
      2 + 4 + 4 + 3 + 4= 17

29 Arabic words in the 7 verses of chapter 1
29 is the number of initial chapters in the Quran

114 chapters overall in the Quran.
      114 - 29 = 85
85 is the number of uninitial chapters in the Quran
      85 = 17 x 5

      17 Rakaats/units in 5 daily prayers

OK, it is numerology and coincidence?
      Forget 29 or 17.

      Move to sura 2?

Chapter 2 proves there are 5 daily contact prayers

Chapter 2 is the 1st initial chapter
      Chapter 2 has 286 verses
      1286
      1+2+8+6 = 17 There are 17 units/Rakaats in a day

      1286 x 19 = 24434
      2 4 4 3 4 are units of prayers in a day
      2+4+4+3+4 = 17

      Is this 5 prayers also?

      Fine, move to surah3...etc
Come on good logic, stop this nonsense?
      GOD bless you all.
      Peace.

Quran is a guide and not a puzzle game. Allah does not shy away from the truth. If Allah wants something done, it is explicitly mentioned. No puzzle games or mental gymnastics.

          Peace Brother.

Of course you have the choice to do as you please.

Now Allow me to give another " tafseer" for salat

GOD wishes no hardship imposed on us in practicing our religion. Any suggestion in mythology as to how to perform some of the details that move us in the direction of making the religion difficult, cannot be from GOD and is not approved by Him.

It is simple, intention to do your "salat" then follow Qoran

GOD says in Qoran when you observe the "salat"

          1. Wash your face, and we have 1 face.
          2. Wash your arms to the elbow, and we have 2 arms.
          3. Wipe your head, and we have 1 head.
          4. Wipe/Wash your feet to the ankles, and we have 2 feet.

          1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 6
Before performing our 5 daily "salat", we do the above 6 actions in our ablution.
This is why Almighty GOD has placed the instruction for ablution in 56.
People should be able to do these actions comfortably, without any hardship( and if they cannot, they use "dry ablution"-Tayammum&quot. People are men, women, left-handed, right-handed, tall, short, fat, skinny, and all sort of other things. How to do "salat" is well preserved for generations confirmed by Qoran.

In regard to our feet, some people might say that the Quran says we should wipe our feet to the ankles instead of washing them. GOD says that He loves those who are clean. The believers should use their own judgment, this is a test for all of us. We must not create division between ourselves dueling on this issue. Regardless of washing our feet or wiping them, GOD will not throw our "salat" to waist.

Our intention and timing must be resolute and our "salat" must be dedicated to GOD ALONE.

          Thank you brother.
          GOD bless you.
          Peace.

Why would our Salaat be thrown to our waists?

"We have cited in this Quran every example for the people, yet the human being is most argumentative." 1854

You say if one is disabled? How do you mean? All people take showers and if someone can not do it then someone helps with these acts. I don't get you, you seem to think that it would impossible which is false.

"You shall recite what is revealed to you of the book and observe the Salat, for the Salat prohibits vice and evil and the remembrance of God is the most important. God knows what you do." 2945

"O you who believe, do not approach the Salat while intoxicated, until you know what you are saying." 443

Of course Allah doesn't make mistakes. Ask yourself why you're given an interpretation that gives you a step-by-step guide on performing a nameless ritual while no such detailed explanation is given for salat. Ask yourself how there's no mention of disabled people regarding this nameless cleaning ritual but exceptions are made for salat when your mind is intoxicated. And what on earth has rubbing soil got to do with this so called cleaning ritual? Why is no name given to it? Please rub some soil on your face and tell me if it makes your face shine clean.

This is Nick, he was born without limbs. According to 56 he should wash his face, arms, head and legs. Quran give no details on how disabled people are to perform this cleaning ritual. How is Nick going to follow the interpretation of verse 56 since it tells you to perform it before rising for salat?
You only need to be sane. No limbs are required to perform salat. This voids the interpretation of verse 56.

Does it say wash your face with your own hands?

This man has a assistans and knows how to take a shower.

mashallah, may god bless him and his family.

Does it say wash your face with your own hands?

"O you who have believed, when you rise to prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful" 56

Nick does not have forearms, elbows or feet. Nick is therefore deprived from performing salat since you MUST have forearms, elbows and feet to perform this nameless cleaning ritual before rising for salat. There is no mention of physically disabled people when it comes to salat in the Quran. Quran only talks of having a functioning mind so you know what you're saying.

"O you who believe, do not approach the Salat while intoxicated, until you know what you are saying." 443

?Not equal are those of the believers who sit , except those who are disabled, and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives.? (495)

?no person shall have a burden laid on him greater than he can bear? (2286).

Verse 495 has nothing to do with salat or the nameless cleaning rituals. Provide a verse telling disable people on how to perform "wudu" or a physical salat for people like Nick. Every human with a sound mind can perform salat. Verse 56 contradicts this. Nick needs limbs to perform "wudu" and a physical salat.

If verse 56 is true, then it directly contradicts 2286. Nick is told by 56 to wash is arms, elbows and feet. Nick also needs limbs to perform a physical ritual called salat and not just a sound and functioning mind. Quran provides NO EXPLANATION on how disabled people perform the nameless cleaning ritual and physical salat.
This can only mean two things. Either the interpretation of 56 is false or disabled people are deprived from performing "wudu" and a physical salat. There isn't even a detailed explanation on how to perform a physical salat for healthy individuals in the Quran.

Allah is fair and just. Allah gives every human, disabled or not, the ability to do salat. Salat is not a physical ritual. Everyone can do it, anytime and anywhere.

Invalid777 you say this " And what on earth has rubbing soil got to do with this so called cleaning ritual? Why is no name given to it? Please rub some soil on your face and tell me if it makes your face shine clean."

Maybe here lies your answer http//www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2646748/Hogwash-Yes-Meet-man-showered-12-years-instead-sprays-bacteria-hes-collected-pigsty-cowshed-chicken-coop-clean.html

and to be more precise"For the last 12 years he has sprayed himself with AOB that he has collected from soil in the pigsty, cowshed and chicken coop of an organic farm."

                                  Peace.

Here's a challenge mmmm. Since you strongly support the interpretation of 56. Go out, grab a handful of soil, wipe it on your face and tell me how clean your face will shine.

This man looks clean, doesn't he?

Tayammum is a DRY ablution brother. Your analogy of this guy with mud over his face isn't accurate. Even animals can clean themselves effectively using dry sand.

Where can I find dry sand here in London? New York? Alaska? Quran is a guide for every human. Not just someone living in the Middle East or in a beach.
