This verse has been completely taken out of context as the replacing of Revelation refers to the Thora and Gospel, not the QUran itself. The preceding verse talks about the People of the Book, Jews and Christians.

2105 Neither the deniers from among the People of the Book nor
the idolaters love that any good thing should be bestowed upon
you from your Lord. But God chooses for His Grace of Revelation
whom He wills. (370-71, 1630) For, God is the Lord of Infinite
    Bounty.

All these verses and many more prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Law of the Torah is still applicable, except for that which has been abrogated by new revelations contained in Holy Quran and Ahadeeth

Then why do you insist that the punishment of adultrers as in the OT still prevails inspite of the new punishment revealed in the quraan that abrogates it?

          peace yusha,

Adultery falls under the category of "spreading mischief in the land". This is why we find in the Torah which Allah Taala revealed to Prophet Moses (alaihi salaam), the punishment for adultery is death

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife?with the wife of his neighbor?both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. (Leviticus 2010 NIV)

It doesn?t say ?if a man commits mischief with another man?s wife??It clearly says ADULTERY in the above mentioned reference you posted, but nowhere in QURAN is it clearly stated?..and there is no mentioning of stones in this reference?
Now let?s see bro if your interpretation that ?adultery falls under the category of spreading mischief? is compatible with the QURANIC MEANING of spreading mischief.

When he turns his back his aim everywhere is to SPREAD MISCHIEF through the earth and destroy crops and cattle. But Allah loveth not mischief. 2205

And (with) Firon, the lord of hosts, 8910.
Who committed inordinacy in the cities, 8911.
So they made GREAT MISCHIEF therein? 8912.

And there are those who put up a mosque by way of MISCHIEF and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars. 9107.

And when it is said unto them MAKE NOT MISCHIEF in the earth, they say We are peacemakers only. 211.
Are not they indeed the mischief-makers? But they perceive not. 212.

And We appointed with Musa a time of thirty nights and completed them with ten (more), so the appointed time of his Lord was complete forty nights, and Musa said to his brother Haroun Take my place among my people, and act well and do not follow the way of THE MISCHIEF-MAKERS. 7142.

DO NO MISCHIEF on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts) for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. 756.

28 4. Surely Firon exalted himself in the land and made its people into parties, weakening one party from among them; he slaughtered their sons and let their women live; surely he was one of the MISCHIEF MAKERS.

          1. And there were in the city nine persons who MADE MISCHIEF in the land and did not act aright.
          2. They said Swear to each other by Allah that we will certainly make a sudden attack on him and his family by night, then we will say to his heir We did not witness the destruction of his family, and we are most surely truthful.

And the chiefs of Firon's people said Do you leave Musa and his people TO MAKE MISCHIEF in the land and to forsake you and your gods? He said We will slay their sons and spare their women, and surely we are masters over them. 7127.

They said O Zulqarnain! surely Gog and Magog MAKE MISCHIEF in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute on condition that you should raise a barrier between us and them.1894.

And We had made known to the children of Israel in the Book Most certainly you will MAKE MISCHIEF in the land twice, and most certainly you will behave insolently with great insolence. 17 4.

And when your Lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said What! wilt Thou place in it such as shall MAKE MISCHIEF in it and shed blood, and we celebrate Thy praise and extol Thy holiness? He said Surely I know what you do not know. 230.

Mischief makers are those who divide people into sects and cause chaos/turmoil/destruction in a society?.oppress people, shed their blood and commit atrocities etc

You will find them in lala masjid Islamabad and in many other madrassas in Pakistan.

          peace

Dear friends, there is no verse in the Holy Quran which abrogates the Torah injunction of death for adultery. On the contrary, there is a verse whose wording has been forgotten, but the ruling still applies, it is called the Verse of Rajm (stoning). Similarly, from the sunnat we can clearly see how Ahazrat (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) carried out the punishment for adultery by stoning adulterers to death.

I can see why Quranists do not believe in stoning to death for adultery. It depends on what you accept as revelation that determines your view on this matter. Jazak Allah khair.

Exactly my friend. In that case I believe Al Quran is the only revelation Muslims are supposed to follow.

Correction I can't see; because you can't see the Truth.
Depends on what you accept as revalation? We accept ONE revalation, but that does not satisfy you, and you can't see, can't understand, wonder why...

Agree with Samia. There is no relativity involved here. One revelation that is supposedly accepted by all yet conveniently ignored.

The recitation of the verse of rajm was abrogated, but its ruling is still applicable.

Hazrat Umar (ra) said No doubt, Allah sent Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa salaam) with the Truth and revealed to him the Book (Quran), and among what was revealed, was the Verse of Ar-Rajm (stoning adulterers to death). (Sahih Bukhari)

Now, this "hadith" belongs to Omar, not to the prophet, so it is not a prophetic saying, but a "omaric" one. Does God say "obey the companions"?

Also, what was the prophet doing losing verses? Isn't it his job to deliver? Do you imply that he was not that honest or careful? Or is this a result of him being "illiterate" he did not know what was written and what was missing? What an insult to the prophet!! You should be ashamed of what you believe.

Allah is the one who causes verses to be forgotten, which are part of His own plan.

None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things? (2106)

Just great! God causes the verse to be forgotten, but Omar remembers it brickwall
According to this hadith, it seems that neither the prophet nor his lord are doing a good job! Omar beat them both and Bukhari beat the hell out of muslims.

And what, in your opinion, was the better or similar substitution, or any substitution of this alleged lost-and-found verse?

Allah caused the WORDING of the verse to be forgotten. Even Hazrat Omar (ra) did not remember the wording of the ayatur rajm. However, he was among many of the sahaba who were witnesses to the tanzil of Holy Quran, and he knew for a fact that a verse commanding stoning to death for adultery had indeed been revealed in the Holy Quran, though he did not remember the wording of the verse (which is why it isnt found in the Holy Quran), because the wording was caused to be forgotten/abrogated by Allah (though the ruling of the verse still applies).

Unfortunately your link uses only hadith as proof, and since those cannot be trusted they fail to prove anything. All we can know for sure is that the Quran does not have in it any verses telling us to stone adulterers therefor it should not be done.

                                Peace,

Allah is the one who causes verses to be forgotten, which are part of His own plan.

None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar Knowest thou not that Allah Hath power over all things? (2106)

Wait, because before the "do We abrogate" is written "None of Our revelations". This means it talks about revelations, books, right? Then we have "but We substitute something better or similar" This means the stoning have been subsitued to something better or similar, right?

Tell me if 'im wrong here please.
