    Salam Brother Khalil
    May I know ??al-amiyr's way of performing salaats?? and Is that way of salaats prescribed in the Quraan.
    Regards
    Tahir

    Just go to reply #9.

    Regarding your other question, like I mentioned. I believe the majority of Muslims in the world perform their salaats correctly, except that they are not to mention and commemorate other than ALLAAH, swt in their salaats.

    Salam may peace blessing and knowledge be upon all of you may you succeed in this life and the hereafter. I have a question concerning salat whom ever is willing to answer this question i will greatly appreciated. see my question for you is how do you pray?, do you even pray at all?, or do you get in one knees and pray, or the prayer you pray is by thinking of God I want to know why you came up with that conclusion on how you pray. I have read so many topics on prayer day and night some say is ritual some say is not but i want to know how you do it how did you come up with that conclusion is your prayer define as ritual or is it not and what is the important aspect of prayer how do you define it is it the remembrance of God or is it some kind of checklist.

    Thank you.

    I follow al-amiyr's way of performing salaats. I commemorate only ALLAAH, swt, avoid mentioning of anyone else in my salaats.

    The truth is that for thousands of years billions of Muslims have uninterruptedly been performing salaat 24/7 all over the globe and almost all of them have been performing the salaat the same when it comes to the timing , the number of salaats per day, and the manner of physically performing the salaat. The only discrepancy is that they stared to commemorate Prophets and others alongside ALLAAH, swt in their salaats which The Qur'aan has made correction regarding that matter and in several verses informs us that salaat is for commemoration of ALLAAH, swt only. See 2014 for example.

    ...Here is presented the most accurate translation of the verse -though by no means near perfect. I have not translated the key words because they are technical terms in their own right and cannot be translated without grave loss of the original. I will select and explain each of them adequately with proofs from the Qur'aan itself as well as from the authoritative Arabic dictionaries.

    The translation

    Have those who have disbelieved now not seen-

    that the samaawaat and the ?arD

    (1)- were both Ratq

    (2)- and so We Fataq them both again.

    And We made from water every living thing.

    Will they now not believe?...

    Highlights above are from me.

    Dear al-amiyr,

    There is a major mistranslation of the verse 2130 on your part. You need to remove the word "again" from your translation in order to make it more accurate. If I were you I'd do that before continuing the thread further.

    I extensively wrote a reaction to you, posted it, looked at it, and now its gone.

    If the moderators practice censorship, it would be nice to know.

    I will not write here anymore accordingly.

    Wish everyone good luck!

    I've lost at least three posts on this thread today too. I don't know what's going on. Could an administrator or moderator explain please?

    ...and Allah is the only one true God among those gods
    which means, we make Allah equivalents to other gods worshiped by human beings

    Nor is there to Him any equivalent <- including the concept of "God", it is not equivalent
    (1124)...

    So, according to your understanding of verse 1124, even if we call ALLAAH, Arrahmaan, Arraheem, Alhaiy, Alqaiyoom, and so forth, we are still setting up equivalents for Him, right?

    So you will come up with me that verse We have revealed it and We shall safeguard it?

    Explain to me how Allah safeguards His message?

    highlight above is frm me.

    Even though you hard headed stubborn sectarians don?t seem to get convinced by any logical reasoning and just dogmatically stick with your forefathers religious inventions, I hereby refer you to a few verses of The Qur?aan regarding your already and very frequently answered QUESTIONS.

    1st The prophet, pbuh was not infallible. See the two verses below among many others. The only infallible is GOD, the Almighty Himself.

    4719

    So know (O Muhammad) that there is no God save Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy sin and for believing men and believing women. Allah knoweth (both) your place of turmoil and your place of rest

    482

    That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path,

    2nd The Qur?aan has been preserved through memorization generation after generation, continuously from the first day of its revelation by millions of people all over the world up until today. See 2949 below.

    But it is clear revelations in the hearts of those who have been given knowledge, and none deny Our revelations save wrong-doers.

    ...As I said; everything regarding God in the quran is metaphorical. The same counts for 'speech'. As I said before, the quran informs us it is 'inspired', it is not dictated. God never spoke to Moses literally, there is no change in Gods sunna. The 'conversation' was inspired...

    Highlight is from me.

    How about when GOD wrote into stone tablets and Moses carried them down to his people, is this metaphorical too?

    Salam Khalil,

    For you too the same answer;

    It is metaphorical, just as 'hand of God' is.

    Have a nice day.

    I do agree with you on "hand of GOD" or " face of GOD", but word of GOD cannot be treated as metaphoric because time and time again The Qur'aan says that it is revealed in the manifest Arabic language. I mean in Arabic words. The prophet, pbuh was receiving the verses in his own language, in Arabic words and wrote them down in Arabic and recited them to his people in Arabic words. What is metaphoric about that? ALLAAH, swt spoke to Moses, pbuh. Was that conversation metaphoric too?

    There is no 'word of Allah', just as there is no 'hand of Allah' or 'face of Allah'.

    These are metaphorical.

    Highlight above is from me.

    96,

    And if anyone of the idolaters seeketh thy protection (O Muhammad), then protect him so that he may hear the Word of Allah, and afterward convey him to his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who know not.

    How do you interpret, just for example, the above verse among many others regarding the word of ALLAAH?

    Plus "Except what is apparent" in 2431 have different views from each cultures.

  • 33:4: God did not make any man with two hearts in his body....??
    K kgwithnob

    ...What does the phrase "God did not make any man with to hearts in his body" really mean?...

    It means a PARADOX, i.e. a CONTRADICTORY statement. At the time the culture of JAAHILLIAH was full of man-made paradoxes. In 334 two clear examples are shown. One is that when a man for unjustifiable reasons was trying to get rid of his wife, would say to her, that his feelings towards her is like his feelings towards his own mother, so this would had made his wife unlawful to him. The other one is that they falsely used to believe that adopted sons are like their real offspring, so in cases of divorce or death the adopted son's wife is forbidden to marry the adopter father in-law. 334 puts an end to these two false beliefs.

  • What is the correct way to attend Mosque
    K kgwithnob

    Mosques belong to ALLAAH, swt. Just go to the mosque, do your salaat and socialize, but as 7218 commands us, do not call or mention anyone but ALLAAH, swt, in your sallaat and adzaan (call to prayer). The point is, do not isolate yourself. try to socialize but in the meantime and cautiously, in a subtle manner try to propagate your idea of The Qur'aan alone Islam.

    7218,

    And that masajid (mosques) belong to Allah; so, do not invoke anyone along with Allah.

  • (4:59) What is the true meaning of Ulil-Amri?
    K kgwithnob

    +salaam Dear Khalil

    No! I understand that Aadam(P+) was a special man ALLAAH had created within humanity on the present earth of the present universe just as Jesus(D+) was a special man ALLAAH had created within humanity on the present earth of the present universe. Every universe had its created Aadam(P+) upon the likeness of the first to continue the remembrance of ALLAAH. Those are just the simple details. But there is no problem if any one wants to understand it the way they understand it. And may ALLAAH guide all to the right understanding inshaa ALLAAH.

    Peace
    al-amiyr

    So according to you, the majority of humans were forsaken by GOD and only the children of Adam became GOD?s favorites starting ?6000? years ago. He kept sending messengers to them in order to guide them, right? The Qur?aan only addresses the children of Adam and there is no mention of the others at all.

    Starting from the first day, the angels were to prostrate before Adam, not to mention the Satan, promising to keep misguiding Adam?s progeny till the Judgment day.

    Then, what about the majority (probably more than 90%) of the human population who, according to your calculations, are not of the Adam?s progeny? There is no mention of this majority in The Qur?aan. Have this majority been on their own all this time? What happens to them after they die? Are they going to be resurrected? Are they going to be judged? Maybe they all will get free tickets to enter paradise! Please enlighten us on this petty issue. Believe me; I?m not trying to be sarcastic. I am only appalled.

  • (4:59) What is the true meaning of Ulil-Amri?
    K kgwithnob

    After the Originator of the creation had set in motion the evolution of intelligent life (human beings) on Earth over a long period of time, He created by direct creation another human being called Aadam which simply means Man ('insaan) about 6000 years ago.

    Highlights above are from me.

    Salaam Dear al-amiyr,

    Do you believe that Adam is the common progenitor of the whole human race living on Earth today?

    Khalil,

    if they are part of mankind, then they are being invited to hajj , here-

    2227
    "And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;

    and here to almasjidalharam.

    Surely, those who have rejected/concealed and hinder from the path of God and al masjid al haram which We made for mankind... 2225

    and not to let them here

    928,

    O you who believe, the Mushriks are impure indeed, so let them not approach Al-Masjid-ul-Haram after this year. And if you apprehend poverty, then, Allah shall, if He wills, make you self-sufficient with His grace. Surely, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

    Are they part of Mankind ?

    All people were invited for Hajj pilgrimage till before 928 was revealed. After that mushrik people were band from entering the sacred mosque at any time.

    well i always thought Mushrikeen where part of mankind, explain how they aren't!

    Okay , so AlmasjidAlharam isn't part of ALHaj then! yes

    Al Haj for all Menyes.

    2227
    "And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men they will come to thee on foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways;

    1). Al-Masjidulharaam is an integral and very important part of Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.

    2). Hajj pilgrimage is for all the people, but not allowed for POLYTHEISTS/MUSHRIKs.

    K kgwithnob

    peace Khalil,

    I am aware of that verse, and I am also aware of the chapter it comes from, chapter 9. The answer lies therein in my view.

    However, IF you are implying "al hajj" is open to mankind except "the mushriks" then please let us know how we identify "the mushrik". Thanks.

    If someone openly announces worshiping other than GOD, ALLAAH, swt, alone is a mushrik, like the majority of Christians.

    Perhaps you miss a rather obvious point

    al hajj is open to all mankind, not only believers, thus they (mankind) may not be following any particular guidance as believers do with Quran, hence are told XYZ about behaviour.

    Red highlight above is from me.

    928,

  • Is it even possible to do True Hajj in 2013?
    K kgwithnob

    Salam ,

    The fourth full Moon is marking the starter of the fourth month and at the same time the end of the third month , the same as the first full moon is marking the start of the first month and the end of the twelve month , think about it ! , the breakdown instead should be as below

    first full moon --> second full moon (1 st month )
    second full moon --> third full moon (2 nd month)
    third full moon --> fourth full moon (3 rd month)
    fourth full moon --> Fifth full moon (4 th month )

    total 4 Months

    And it goes on

    ........5 to 6 --> (5th month )
    ........6 to 7 --> (6th month )
    ........ 7 to 8 --> (7th month )
    ........ 8 to 9 --> (8th month )
    ........ 9 to 10 --> (9th month )
    ........ 10 to 11 --> (10th month )
    .........11 to 12 --> (11th month )
    .........12 to 1 --> (12th month )

    total 12 months

    This is the correct breakdown of the twelve "Chahr " / Months , there is no inconsistency .

    If you still not convinced with my approach Lets go according to your analysis , and see where it ends up

    What is the equivalent of the English word "Month" in the Quran ?

    1st Start of a new lunar month is the NEW CRESCENT, not the full moon. See 2189.

    2nd In The Qur'aan SHAHR is the equivalent of MONTH.

    Peace,
    Khalil
