Peace, Respectfully. Science actually proves religion, it proves what God has told us in the Quran. I believe that God AllWise, has given us science too in order to check and verify if we have any doubts, even though, God AllMighty says do not have any doubt, but if you do, here is science and see it for yourself. God The Exalted and AllPowerful has given us tools to check and verify the world around us eyes, hearing, smelling, feeling and so on. Glory be to our God, Lord of the Universe. Peace.

The Berbers that invaded Spain took their orders from Al-Walid who was an Umayyad Khalif, so they were Sunnis. It is questioned that there was ever an Arab conquest of Spain. The speed of the thing itself is suspect as well as other things. As to India, what I have read is that when Muslim conquered it it was already a long time since Bhudism had dissapeared from it. That is the India which those Muslims conquered.

11114 clearly says we can only compensate the wrong things we have done (sayyi) by doing Hassanat. Hassanat can only be between humans or from God towards a human, but not from a human towards God. So rituals will do nothing to compensate.

lol read my post again, I turned away from God in the past. I found the Qur'an and that changed my views. I wasn't focusing on God and the Bee, I was focusing on the difference between cult/religion and system.. [/quote) Peace, respectfully. Sorry, didn't see. Thanks for correcting me. But the way i see it, Islam is not just a religion, it's a lifestyle, our life should be made of obeying God and other things should come in 2nd. In the morning we start with a prayer, right, then comes coffee, good morning to your spouse, kids, then you go to work or school, then .... right? Glory be to God. Peace.

Confusion About the Qur'an Unfortunately today, many people, including Muslims who consider themselves practicing are unaware of what the Qur'an says about an issue or a concept of faith. Many Muslims are happy to lead a life devoid of the direct influence of the Glorious Qur'an. People who fit the definition of the above type quickly reveal their ignorance to a true believer, when, in a discussion, make remarks such as the following "I think it says in the Qur'an or it could be somewhere else (followed by what they think is there)" ...or for example, "It says in the Qur'an (followed by an outright lie, while they even know it is a lie)" The consistent features of such people is that ? they usually think they have true knowledge of Islam and believe they are religious. ? they do not really care whether what they are claiming is in the Qur'an or not, so long as it fits in with their preconceived idea of what Islam is and what is acceptable by the majority. ? they have the mistaken belief that something taken from elsewhere has the credibility of the Qur'an so they think they have the right to say to every one "it is in the Qur'an" (literally) to give their false claim authority, knowing very well it is not there. Such people get into arguments and debates readily about the Qur'an and quote Qur'anic Verses here and there, though they know very little about Qur'an's actual content and its true message. They also do not measure Allah with His true measure. Unfortunately, they misguide many people with wrong information and a twisted depiction of Islam. "Yet there are some people who, with no knowledge or guidance or any Book of Enlightenment, argue about Allah, turning scornfully aside to leads others away from Allah's path. Disgrace in this world awaits such a person and, on the Day of Judgment, we shall make him taste the suffering of the Fire" (Qur'an 228-9) Peace, respectfully. If Joe Average asks Hilary C. K'Taen"Hilary, did God say in the Quran which tone to use in the prayer?" Hilary will reply"Yes, chapter 17, verse 110." What's wrong with this? If you ask a person something about the Quran, and he answers you, quoting the Quran, what's wrong then? Am i missing something here? It seems to me that a person must not quote the Quran un less he or she first asks .... imam? If someone claims that he or she knows something from the Quran, he or she must then provide that evidence heor she must then quote the verse from the Quran, right? When i eat chicken bought in the non-halal stores, these people around me tell me that i am commiting a sin by eating haram food. I then tell them it's halal because ..... well, i quote the verse from the Quran where God tells us what we can eat and what we must not eat, unless we are forced without willful disobedience. Am i wrong here? If i'm wrong, may Allah SWT help me and guide me and forgive me. Peace.

Im probably just nuts and should talk to God more ;D, but I really want to converse with another human about this predicament I am in internally.....I need a perspective out of my own head.....God willing... Peace Peace, Respectfully. You cannot be nuts because then you would be unable to know the state you're in. You're not nuts, trust me. We have all been on that road and i'm glad i took it. You are right about one thing talk to God, ask God, ask God to lead you on the Right Path, because if you really want the Right Path, God will give it to you, if you want to follow scholars, God will allow you that too, He is very merciful and truly Merciful, The Most Merciful, that is why God does not want to force you into Islam,, God Himself says that He can make us all Muslims and also that He can make us all follow satan, He can do anything and everything. The Exalted God The Most Wise is offering you a choice want the Straight and Right Path, you got it. Wanna go astray and be happy with that? You got it. It's up to you. You have to make a decision. You have a choice. So choose. God be with you and keep reading the Quran. Trust me - the truth is inside the Quran. Peace.

Peace, Respectfully. People pray to The Exalted God Most Merciful for things they cannot achieve or can achive with much hardship, so, we ask God to give us good health, if we are ill. Yes, we have doctors who gives us a pill but who can help us if we are on the wrong path or if we want a good child in a marriage or a good wife/husband, or if we simply want joy in our lives?? The Exalted God, AlMighty, The Most Powerful. Glory be to God, The Most Wise, Glory be to God, The Most Just. God, The True Originator, The One Who will reward us The Best. Peace.

Peace "Say, 'People of the Book, you have no true basis unless you uphold the Torah, the Gospel, and that which has been sent down to you from your Lord,' but what has been sent down to you from your Lord is sure to increase many of them in their insolence and defiance do not worry about those who defy . For believers, the Jews, the Sabians, and the Christians - those who believe in God and the Last Day and do good deeds - there is no fear they will not grieve." 568 It is clear from here that there are hyprocrites in these faiths just as there are hypocrites in the Islamic faith that claim to believe in God but repel the idea of Mohammed as a messenger, God is saying they are defying him, so they are not worthy of true friendship. There are some true believers in these faiths and these are the CLOSEST friends of muslims - in fact they ARE muslims (devoted to God) - the problem is there are not many in this present World "You Prophet are sure to find that the closest in affection towards the believers are those who say, 'We are Christians,' for there are among them people devoted to learning and ascetics." 582 It is the truth that like minded people will be the closest of friends, because they share a deeper bond. In terms of faith a friend is very different from how it is treated in an athiestic sense. It is not that so called Christians and Jews are your enemies (unless they persecute you) they just aren't you're true friends in faith, only the believers are. I have many atheist, christian, jewish friends but they do not share the same faith as me so they are not close friends to me in faith, despite how much they know about me. Which is why it should be a perogative to share the Qur'an with your friends and family so they maybe gain understanding, get closer to God, and closer to you as a result. Intolerance is not the word, because it is a basis of faith, this is greater than anything else we hold to us (race, sex, sexuality). If Christians and Jews who claim to believe in God are not reading their books and furthermore denying the Qur'an it cannot be tolerated, they should be argued with and they should be shown this is not the way "Fight those of the People of the Book who do not truly believe in God and the Last Day.." 929 Fight does not mean kill or physically harm, fight can mean debate, argue, confront with the Qur'an. This is because Christians (who do not believe Christ was God) Jews and Muslims follow the SAME GOD so if they differ and are denouncing each other's faith, they are defying God. So they must be fought to shown the error of their ways, and they cannot before then be accepted as true friends just as with disbelievers. It is also to stop their whisperings from distracting you from the path of God. If you surround yourself with like-minded, successful people you will be successful minded. If you surround yourself with people who have no faith and whisper conjecture, you may become anxious, doubtful and disbelieve. The distance God wants to set up between believers and disbelievers is for a reason, you will distance from certain people, that is the test of Life for you, just have to get on even if it is (. In the end the truly devoted should love God more than friends, family and possessions "Say , 'If your fathers, sons, brothers, wiives, tribes, the wealth you have acquired, the trade which you fear will decline, the dwellings you love are dearer to you than God and His Messenger and the struggle in His cause, then wait until God brings about His punishment.'" 924 Peace

Peace be to everyone. Thank you very much for the beneficial discussions. Here are the answers to the following questions. Who are the articles targetted at? As you have suggested, any articles I put up, written by me, are all directed towards Sunnis/Shias or any tradition orientated Muslim. They are not targeted for people who have already grasped faith as is described in the Qur'an. I put them up on free-minds when I do my circle of visits of the traditional forums posting a finished article, just so readers of free-minds traditional and non-traditional too may benefit from it. Why use the word "Allah" and not "God" To make the article more suitable for the 'Muslim' mass audience - ie. to make it more acceptable. This will help shape the 'Islam' already known to people rather than what may appear to be a new Islam. Take care and thanks for the kind words David_K about my writing - its all from Allah / God.

Your statement is ambigious since I am not sure wether you meant the word "followers" refer to my name besides Rashad's. If it is indeed what you meant, then you should know that I have no followers, which includes my close family mambers. Furthermore, I do not wish anyone follow me. Salam Edip, My post actually reads the way you interpreted it, and I did not mean it that way. It was a quick post, I didn't really read at again to check for mistakes. The "followers" was meant for Rashad. I just saw your name mentioned on a Submitters website, where your the author of a new translation of the Holy Qur'an. I do not really know you that much, but I just assumed that you were a big part of the Submitters movement. I did not mean any offense with my post whatsoever. It was just due to my ignorance on the topic that I mentioned your name. Although I do not agree with all of the Submitters beliefs, I do agree with their interpretation of Hadith and things of that sort. Therefore I did not mean to insult any group whatsoever, it was just my mistake of not seperating your name from Rashad's name. I hope you understand where I am coming from angel Salam.

Peace All I have only created jinns and men, that they may obey Me. (51-56) God Created Humans and Jinns for the Ultimate purpose of obeying his Commandments. Can any one note that God wished for us to obey him, but very few did. Please read the following verses that show how God is disappointed with his creation Leave Me alone with whom I created! (74-11) To whom I granted resources in abundance, (12) And sons to be by his side! (13) To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! (14 And even God said ?Ya-Hasrati? (it shows that God is not pleased) Ah! Alas for My servants! There comes not an messenger to them but they mock Him! (36-30) Can you note that the ultimate mission of any prophet is to ?Make God?s Wish Comes True, by Preaching humans about God?s Commandments? Peace

Peace I personally cover my hair, arms and legs. This doesn't mean I believe that the Quran says to cover my hair nor do I believe in the hadiths. I just find it comfortable for myself to make sure the areas God say to cover ARE covered. I also do like it when Muslim women say their "salaams" to me, though I know Islam is not defined by the hijab. When I became a Muslim, I focused on the religon first and then started to cover as it suited me. I don't believe that it is compulary though. Peace peace

Jeffrey Lang on Abdur Rab's book "Abdur Rab offers a comprehensive vision of Islam using the Quran as his sole religious textual source. He intentionally avoids Hadith literature, which he believes, and argues, has done much damage to the message of the Quran. His work provides many thought-provoking insights and should be a significant contribution to the Quran only movement in modern islam."

peace belal, When I actually sat down and studied "salat" from AQ, I was confident it would mean "prayer" but in a different form to what I had been used to in the Traditional Islam world. The more I studied, keeping this view became more difficult. There were some verses that didn't sit right and there were some that had critical problems for this view. The best thing I can recommend is reading what AQ says. I am confident anyone who does this will see the problems themselves. The thread I was referring to I made here http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=16883.0 In my opinion, one of the strongest and as yet unanswered flaws in "salat=prayer" can be read here http//www.mypercept.co.uk/articles/disproved_traditional_salat.htm

That is also not intended to be the procedure. The Qur' anic system can only work when people see its beneficience and volunteer to cooperate.

'Surely rather than picking a random city/town/place, shouldn't you have some criteria that a place should fulfill, e.g. things which would be beneficial, practical and conducive...' I could not agree more. We must still remember that we are 'khalifas'. We must make sure we do not destroy the environment. We must take into consideration all the points raised in the Quran including hunting and the forbidden months. Why? we need food and we do not want to raise animals unhealthily and give them disease and consume the meat and get ourselves diseased. Nowadays hit any any stores, organic food costs 3 times as much as the normally grown type and God forbid, the GMO varieties. Why eat modified and diseased meat and vegetables? We must make sure the essentials are well taken care of before we move on to other wants.Easy said than done..maybe..we can still try. We have to think about other things too like working during the day and resting in the night as God mentioned in the quran. So it is gong to be more than just location. I am not anti-tech/progress -why should I be? But we must adhere to a lifestyle that is not wasteful or polluting. Ask yourselves..can we give up plastic? Why settle for a polluted city when we can set our eyes on a greener place with streams and non life threatening fauna and exotic flora..Some of you scientists/highly educated folks in this website can lead us (the ulama)... God guide us always..
