Peace Alen Don't you have a concept for this film? I ask because if you do have a concept, won't it be a totally different film if someone switches it (the concept) by using a theme to promote Traditional stances? You seem to assume in your plan "B" that you will make alot of money which can go into the fruition of this primary idea of yours. Joe

Peace, Here is the elaboration. Basically we need to get together and it would be good if we could come together in our respective contintents or countries and put together our beliefs and clearly display them to each other. We can then begin discussion on them if we want to but the main purpose is to establish bonds with each other and expose these various Quranic points of view with tolerance. We all agree that the Quran should be our only guidance and that is enough. We can have different opinions on how to practice the Quran and it is important that we all be exposed to all of these opinions in an organized way. Therefore, I think if we had a Quranist convention where the banner is the Quran is our guidance, as we all profess this, and where we display our different opinions of the Quran in displays and with booklets and such things. As well as having times where each opinion can be expressed in front of a group of people, a presentation of these beliefs (power point, speeches etc.) and if people want to they can come togher in a room or two to discuss these Quranic points of view. I think this is important to materialize what has been up until now internet communication. I understand that there are Quranists world wide and that we all can't meet each other right now in every place. But that is not the point. The point is to start on a local level and if we can make it an international thing. We #1 need to know exactly how each of us think and secondly we need to know each other and be united as Quranists Muslims. Godbless, Anwar

Peace and greetings, In chapter 51 verse 56 the God says "I have only created Jinn amd Men, that they may serve me"In chapter 62 verse 1 the God says "Glorifying God is everything in the heavens and everything on the Earth; the King, the Holy, the Noble, the Wise." In chapter 7 verse 205 -206 the God says "And remember your Lord in yourself out of humility and fear and without being too loud during the morning and the evening. And do not be of the careless ones." "Those who are at your Lord, they are never too proud to serve Him, and they glorify Him, and to Him they yield." In chapter 76 verse 25-26 the God says "And remember the name of your Lord morning and evening." "And from the night you shall prostrate to Him and praise Him throughout."In chapter 55 verse 6 the God says "And the stars and the trees yield" What i understand from these verses is that things other than humans keep on glorifying God all the time. A human has to serve God by following the human nature designed by the God which is commitment to society as well as care of body health. Human has also got to devote a part of his night glorifying and praising the God according to his convenience i.e keeping his mental health peaceful by sleeping appropriately. In chapter 78 verse 9-11 the God says "And We made your sleep for resting" "And We made the night as a covering" "And We made the day to work in" In chapter 8 verse 11 the God says "Sleep overcame you from Him to give you peace...."Yes i do agree that occasionally you can stand all night to glorify and praise the God but it should not harm your daily life commitments or your health so you have to complete your sleep the next day. If sleep is not completed your body keeps on building sleep debt(Sleep Debt - sleep deficit caused by an individual sleeping for a shorter period of time than is healthy, usually to accomodate a busy or stressful lifestyle. Sleep debts accumulate over time and can cause mental and physical health problems) which has to be paid back to refresh. To follow the natural laws designed by the God is a part of serving him for which He has created humans.

I think before seeing muslims around the world mass protest again the war in Iraq I prefer to see us all the silent majority of muslims to show our position against Islamic extremism first by mass protesting denouncing muslim extremists. Only after that I believe other people would listen and sympathize with what we have to say. Peace, ) Salam. Yes, true, i agree. We must first distance ourselves from the sunnis, shia, wahabis, terrorists, extremists, suicide killers and such. Then apparently our job is to first prove to the world that we, The Quran Alone Muslims, are the true and real Muslims in Islam. We must also provide the proof why those others are not true and real Muslims, why sunnis and shia and wahabis are not Muslims. Non-Muslims will ask us to provide proofs. Then the non-Muslims will see who are Muslims, that's us and who are not Muslims, that's them, the people in the Mid-east who hurt each other, kill each other, commit suicide and stuff. May The Allah Almighty helps us all. Salam.

Natural selection is better theory as we can see its happening all the time. This has got nothing to do with the evolution of "new" secies! As if new species have to evolve the, say my photoreceptor cells receiving an unusuall signal results in the produciton of a certain protien to respond to it in a functional capacity (to my scentific knowledge is impossible), and if the happen for this new function to pass on, the signal has to reach down there between my legs to rearrange the segments of genes, which is is impossible. Based in this I reject the theory of evolution! peace bmbmm, but isn't it possible that through natural selection, an orange changes (over a long long period of time, one change after another) into something so different that you can no longer call it an orange? maybe it changes color and becomes a blue? There are only small differences between species.

Salam. Muslims in Slovenia have been waiting for the permission to build a mosque in the country for the past 35 years. What kind of Jihad should we start? I mean, what should we do to bring this to attention? Salam.

peace and greetings to all truth seekers, I have noticed that we truth seekers have a unique 'might be" and "may be" attitude towards facts. This is why we have aquired such respectful knowledge and are always in the process of aquiring it. We do not approach facts blindly. This was the driving force of the renaissance period in the west. It allows rooms for the discussion of diverse ideas and views about facts with each other. A good scientist always approaches science in this manner. But on the contrary too much 'might be' and 'may be' attitude proves to be extremely harmful not only for one's ownself but for others as well. A person cannot walk on 10 paths at the same time. He could only correct his direction in the light of wisdom and knowledge that he/she aquires throughout his/her lifetime. If he/she keeps on changing paths then much of his/her effort of knowledge and wisdom may get wasted. One should be very transparent with his/her views, interpretations and judgements or else he/she would not only mislead himself/herself but also others. What if I start applying today's science on the competition between pharo's magicians and prophet moses and on the special abilities of prophet sulaiman mentioned in the quran? What if I term those verses as abrogations of mythology and start producing my own corrected quran? What if i start calling a speaking animal mentioned in quran as a metaphor of man made objects such as computer, radios, telephones and possibly a book? In this way our unique attitude can be counterproductive and would be sarcastic towards our beliefs. I am strongly opposed to the approach of progressive muslims of blending 10 qurans for the sake of producing an ultimate quran. They not only stress too much on extremely harmless quranic textual variations of nil value but they mislead an average truth seeker totally out of context. Why stress on a matter that achieves no change in information and obviously no significant breakthrough. It frustrates truth seekers into the trap of 19 miracle which has similar approach as the progressive muslims. 19ers not only become a victim of their approach but they also trangress beyond limits into messenger claims, determination of judgement day, removal of the last two verses of chapter 9, and many other amazing claims. We must be responsible, cautious, and vigilant towards our this unique attitude which is both the greatest weapon of truth and falsehood as well.

The mullahs said they would quit if it got passed, looks like that was another fart in the public's general direction ) The leader of PML-Q (a party) apparently had given his resignation on the day it went in for voting with the instructions to only accept it if the MMA (religious party) can prove that the new bill is against the quran and 'sunna'. It's enough to stop watching soaps and follow politics instead.

Salam, Insha-Allah! I would love to see something like that. I believe there is a time line of sorts. Abul Yusif Ali in his translation and commentary says something to the effect that the Quran stands alone and I imagine it's in the same way i described it above. Also, he adds that it confirms what the "people of the book" already know. So I imagine the time line that we are used to, as an example.. Moses.. Jesus.. Muhammad... is correct etc.. the best to you in your endevour... peace

Salaam Samia, The same verb "given" is used for all prophets (nabbiyyoon) proving Ibrahim was sent the book. The same verb "sent down" is used for both al-qur'aan and what was sent to Ibrahim proving Ibrahim was sent the book. The same word "suhuf" is used for both Musa and Ibrahim proving Ibrahim was sent the book. Thus you cannot say that the book was first sent to Musa. It was sent before him to Ibrahim, Ishaaq, Isma'il, Yaqoob etc. The BASIC message of the book was always the same. I don't know how much more clear it can be and why you cannot see the obvious. No further comments from me. Peace

Peace Phoenix I'm not too sure about this, but I think this union with the divine thing is one where the people continue to grow. I have my doubts however, because my memory is so bad that I have to keep reading things over and always take notes on just about every book I do read. I also think the new experience is somewhat unlike the learning (if you happen to learn) experience here in this Earth plane. Joe

Peace, The influenza virus has met it's match! Supercells kicking arse! I find myself agreeing wholeheartedly with both arguments. As alpha said, change comes from within. And I believe that as living examples, we can change those close around us after changing ourselves, and this can increase exponentially through time, efficiently infecting and destroying the system from the inside out. At the same time, while being in the system, it is very, very difficult to see the forest from the trees because of information overload. We are rats in a cage - or more precisely, rats on amphetamines in a cage. Eevryone is so busy working to try to build the "dream", that there's not much time left to ponder and work on self-actualization. You may catch someone on a coffee break and he/she may converse and understand and get all worked up, but 5 minutes later, it's time to get back to work to get that check to pay for that mortgage, student loan, car payment, Christmas shopping, etc, etc. I've said all along that the most free people in America are the homeless and college students. Everone else is being indoctrinated heavily or indoctrinating others, unkowingly. The times dictate that any culture trying to flourish from outside the system has, looming in the background, the ultimate consequence of being labeled a terrorst organization. Next, comes the bunker busters and the freezing of assets and destroying of algriculture, etc. Therefore, I feel at this point that the change will require a 2-pronged strategy. One from within, and one from without - each supporting the other. It will require good, savvy people to climb the ranks and work within the system, greasing any palms along the way, in order to alter the light that shines on the society that is being built outside of the system. I have more details in mind but just wanted to bounce the basic premise off of you all. Peace, Tay

Peace Warner, Phil, Tay, all, Thank you brother Warner for the excellent observations and a dose of some common sense and logic. Brother Tay, heart failure does not ALWAYS result in sudden death, and majority of times death due to heart failure is not sudden. Heart failure could be due to many causes, and if it results from arrhythmias then it could result in sudden death. Even heart failure resulting from heart attack does not usually result in instantaneous death. Also majority of times a stray bullet kills an animal, the shooting was done for the purpose of hunting. It is very rare for a stray bullet to kill an animal when the intention was not to kill the animal. In addition to that, a stray bullet does not ALWAYS kill the animal instantaneously, and majority of times, if it kills the animal, the death is slow. Thus majority of the causes of death you gave do not result in sudden death and would thus result in DFD meat, which can easily be PERCEIVED to be rotten/bad. Brother Phil, if only meat of pig is forbidden then obviously the fat of pig is excluded from that. Intestines are made of smooth muscle, and as meat = muscle, intestines would come under meat. As to why pig meat is "rijsun", I already gave numerous links which show that scientifically. Perhaps we need to undertake further scientific research on this issue, which might uncover even more reasons as to why it is "rijsun". In addition to that, "perceived to be bad meat/food" is not always unhealthy or harmful when eaten. For example pale, soft and exudative PSE meat is not harmful and is thus safe to eat, even though it LOOKS bad (please see links in my previous post to Tay). PSE meat is actually even safer than regular meat because of the lower PH and thus even slower bacterial growth and thus even longer shelf life. 20-30 % of the properly slaughtered meat can be PSE meat sometimes (http//www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=2102581&dopt=Abstract). Therefore, how can The God forbid ALL perceived to be bad meat/food, when some of it is not harmful at all ? For all of the readers The same word pig in the two following sentences means different things even in English He is a pig = "He is a person who is gluttonous, or very fat, or greedy, or selfish, or filthy", but cannot mean "he is an animal called pig". Pig meat is bad for us; in this sentence, pig meat CAN ONLY MEAN THE MEAT OF THE ANIMAL PIG. Similarly, he is an ape = "he is ugly, or clumsy, or boorish person". References please see "ape" and "pig" in dictionary.com. Same is the usage of "alkhinzeer" in al-qur'aan; "lahma alkhinzeer" can only mean "meat of pig" in al-qur'aan and where it says God turned some humans into pigs and apes, it can mean that those humans were turned into gluttonous, or very fat, or greedy, or selfish, or filthy persons (pigs) and ugly, or boorish, or clumsy persons (apes). I think the argument of whether "lahma alkhinzeer" means "perceived to be rotten/bad meat" in al-qur'aan can be made only if "lahma alkhinzeer" CAN mean "perceived to be rotten/bad meat" in the arabic language. According to the rules of the arabic language, in the phrase "lahma alkhinzeer", "alkhinzeer" can ONLY be a noun and it is IMPOSSIBLE for "alkhinzeer" to be an adjective of "lahma". This has been discussed ad nauseum in prior discussions on this forum. Some links on this issue are as follows http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=4172.0 http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=4484.msg64639#msg64639 http//www.free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=4484.msg64987#msg64987 Thus it is a moot point to discuss whether "lahma alkhinzeer" means "perceived to be rotten/bad meat" when it CANNOT POSSIBLY mean that in the arabic language. Oh, by the way, "khinzeer" comes from the root "KH Z R" meaning "cunning, intelligent, crafty", and not "KH N Z" meaning "rotten, stinking, foul smelling". Reference "KH N Z R" in Lane's Lexicon at the following link for Project Root List http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htm Thus it is impossible for it to mean "rotten/bad" anyway. This makes me wonder how come no one is trying to prove that "lahma alkhinzeer" can mean "intelligent/cunning/crafty meat" Peace
