Peace all, It's been almost 2 weeks and since my last visit, and to my dismay, here's a post from the first thread I clicked on by stolenidentity Posted Fri May 21, 2004 427 pm Post subject Re why 1400 years of mullahs rule is just starting to end?? ?just cause your family is retarded and didn't have a copy of Quran and it's translation, doesn't mean each and everyone of the sunnis share the same retardness as your relatives. so keep your mouth full of shitty or rather made up stories shut and stop manipulating people around here. is that why you come to this forum to brainwash people? R E T A R D, that goes for everyone who talk shit about others based on their own effed-up life experiences to appear somewhat reasonable to themselves and others of the same kind. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Insults are being flung back and forth. And the hadith discussions go on and on and on. Needless to say, a few minutes of reading was enough to entice my trigger-finger into clicking on my favorites and going somewhere a little more stimulating, and a lot less annoying. Forum members and moderators, the time for deep reflection has come. What is free-minds all about? We need to take a moment and think about the importance of what is being discussed here. This movement is gaining momentum. Free-minds is but one face of a multi-faceted diamond. We are breaking the shackles of 1000 years of dogma and ritual. We are moving forward. This is just a bump in the road. The invaders of this forum are but a few, and they have successfully halted progress in a few short weeks. I don't think anyone realizes how important this forum is. We have an established web presence. Visitors are flocking here. It is our duty to maintain the integrity of what we all agree on, and that is Allah and His Favor upon us, Al-Qur'an. As time goes on, opposition will grow stronger. Things will get more serious. The time for tolerating nonsense has come to an end. I urge all members and moderators to refrain from particpating in trivial debates. I humbly request that any posts containing profanity, insults, and comments non-conducive to constructive dialogue be deleted without warning. I feel it is time to tighten the reigns on the direction of this forum. I have grown close to many of you and I do not want to leave this place. However, I just don't have the time to waste in reading fruitless debates. I'm hoping for a noticeable improvement. My apologies if I have overstepped my bounds. Peace, Tay

Peace all. There are regularly now posters who simply provoke arguments - either by their arrogance, foul langauge or insults - often a combination of all three. These people have demonstrated, sometimes in hundreds of posts, that they have no desire for reasonable debate. I have come to the belief that the only reason they post here is to stop the normal working of the forum, to prevent reasonable debate and to drive away individuals who might be interested in hearing the message of God which this site promotes. In this last instance I feel there is a deliberate campaign from a group of posters make the forum less useful. We have tried moderation, trash bins and how many of us have posted various quranic ayat which demand good manners from the believers? This has just got to stop. Not just because its ruining the best islamic forum on the net. But because we have a duty for dawah on us and in tolerating such calculated assults on learning and debate we are failing those Muslims who are out there, searching for God's truth. Ask yourself this question - if today was the first time you visit the forum - what kind of impression would you get of the level of debate that takes place here? Free-minds was an awesome forum. Its shameful how its been hijacked. I know many of us recognise there is a problem. I believe the solution is from this piont on to impose immediate bans on ALL offenders - those who are causing the trouble and those of us who are foolish enough to respond to them - as soon as they offend. Its time to end the occupation. salaams asdfjk

Salaams, I think most people don't realise we never had so much quranic literature ,copies of the quran -its only with the printing presses middle of this century the printing of the quran has really taken foothold. Even the translations have only come about recently. So saddly our parents who may naver have had the qurans to analyse like us.And other sad thing most of the muslim world even now the rule is just to recite the quran without putting any effort into understanding it . So upsetting how Allahs deen has been Grossly mistransfigurred by the so called Arabs/Hadithists and propagated by their Mullahs. So upsetting one could cry to Allah in their privacy. But of course people like sunnies can't feel this as they can't see the corruption they are blinded by their eqoes - How sad can it get? Salaams all.

Peace everyone What is happening here? Why is everyone being so judgemental? So angry? So arrogant? I always saw free-minds as a place to discover the truth about God and religion. It was a very inviting place. You could come and discover for yourself what God really wanted from us. We were always a tolerant lot. Why are many of us now being so patronizing with people who don't agree with our understanding of God's message? Most people have been brought up as Sunni or Shia or belonging to some other sect. It is NOT easy to give up the belief of your forefathers. Can we not empathise? Can we not try to explain with tolerance and understanding? There will always be dishonest people who will debate for the sake of debate. Are we going to become like them? Can we not, despite the insults, maintain basic manners and politeness? If you think a person is a hypocrite and a liar...why not just ignore him? Also...I donot see how we can be the judge of their idol-worship. It is up to God to decide. Going this way, its not going to take very long for us to start declaring people as non-muslims just like the Sunnis and all declare us now. Who are we to judge them and their beliefs? We can only call people to the Straight Path. Not force them to walk it. Please let us not become intolerant, self-righteous and arrogant like the rest of the world. Sha

Why the Hadithers are so obstinate in their belief and are heedless to the warnings? Why the Quranist are so supple in their belief and are heedful to the warnings? For years I thought on the above subject, I analysed my own personal life before becoming a submitter, I observed others but I failed to understand or get to the point as to what is the reason for the stubbornness of the Sunnis and that they are heedless to any warning. Luckily I stumbled upon some verses while researching on 'SALAT" and to my surprise I found those verses a perfect answer to my questions and it fitted like hands in the gloves. The following are the verses And no bearer of burdens shall bear another's burden, and if one heavily laden calls another to (bear) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin. Certainly you can WARN ONLY THOSE who fear their Lord unseen, and ESTABLISH PRAYERS. And he whosoever purifies himself then he purifies only for the benefit of his ownself. And to Allah is the (final) Return (of all). 3518 Allah says that the prophet can WARN ONLY THOSE who fear Him and OFFER PRAYERS but in practical it is not so. Almost all Muslims fear the Almighty Allah and RITUALLY PRAY but 99% of them do not pay HEED to the WARNINGS and do not believe in the words of Allah and they follow conjecture. And WARN therewith (the QURAN) those who fear that they will be gathered before their Lord, when there will be NEITHER A PROTECTOR NOR AN INTERCESSOR for them BESIDES HIM so that they may fear Allah 651 A WARNING with the QURAN (not HADITH) to those who fear Allah and PRAY RITUALLY that there will be NO INTERCESSION of the prophet for any Muslim except TO ANY with the permission of Allah, but those who RITUALLY PRAY will never BELIEVE in the above verse but believe in the HADITH written by BUKHARI in which they have an ASSURANCE of the INTERCESSION of the prophet. Bukhari 133 jabir Bin Abdullah The Prophet said, "I have been given five things which were not given to any one else before me. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT OF INTERCESSION (on the Day of Resurrection). Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind. I have read the whole Quran and I have yet to find ONE VERSE saying that Allah has given the RIGHT OF INTERCESSION TO THE PROPHET. It goes further to prove that the RITUAL PRAYER of the SUNNIS is not the SALAT of the QURAN. If the meaning of the SALAT of the QURAN had been RITUAL PRAYERS then CERTAINLY all those who RITUALLY PRAY would have BELIEVED in 651 rather than believing the HADITH. But the words of Allah is in truth and therefore those who fear Him and COMMIT to believe in His QURAN and FOLLOW IT could CERTAINLY be WARNED CERTAINLY you can WARN ONLY HIM who FOLLOWS the Reminder (the QURAN), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 3611 The above VERSE is a confirmation and support of my CLAIM that those who believe in His QURAN and FOLLOW IT will pay HEED to the WARNING and those who believe in, HADITH or any other MAN WRITTEN BOOKS and FOLLOW it will never pay any HEED to the WARNINGS. The followers of OTHER BOOKS than QURAN will continue believing the above HADITH and belying the VERSE 651 THE QURANIST FOLLOW THE QURAN AND BELIEVE THAT THERE WILL BE NO INTERCESSION OF THE PROPHET ON THE DAY OF THE JUDGEMENT THE HADITHERS WILL DENY BECAUSE THEY FOLLOW HADITH AND NOT QURAN AND THEREFORE THEY CANNOT BE WARNED. And no bearer of burdens shall bear another's burden, and if one heavily laden calls another to (bear) his load, nothing of it will be lifted even though he be near of kin. Certainly you can warn only those who fear their Lord unseen, and COMMITS (to believe in His Verses) . And he whosoever purifies himself then he purifies only for the benefit of his ownself. And to Allah is the (final) Return (of all). 3518 ONLY THOSE CAN BE WARNED WHO HAVE COMMITTED TO BELIEVE IN HIS QURAN AND FOLLOW IT. THOSE WHO RITUALLY PRAY AND FOLLOW HADITH FOR THEM WARNING IS USELESS. Alif-Lam-Ra. (This is) A BOOK WHICH WE HAVE REVEALED UNTO YOU IN ORDER THAT YOU MIGHT LEAD MANKIND OUT OF DARKNESS INTO LIGHT by their Lord's Leave to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Owner of all Praise. 141 Quran LEADING MANKIND OUT OF DARKENESS INTO LIGHT Hadith LEADING SUNNIS OUT OF LIGHT INTO DARKNESS.

peace, I am getting really sick of this arguement but since Zed never fails to bring it up I decided to post this and hopefully under this thread we can settle it out once in for all here a new understanding of obey the messenger I found here- http//www.genuine-islam.com/messengership.htm tell me your thoughts on it and if you believe it is better then our present understanding on the topic WARNING-Zed before you start saying "the HADITH REJECTING KAFIR ARE NOW SAYING SO AND SO" let me tell you that nobody I know of on this site, in fact nobody I know, advocates this view on obey the messenger as of yet from reading their already present views, now with that said, here you go Muhammad is NOT the father of any man among you, but he IS the messenger of God and the seal of the prophets. And God is fully aware of all things. Mumahammad is GOD'S messenger...not your messenger or my messenger...so please pay good attention to what GOD has to says about HIS messenger. Keep in mind that people have the tandency to have all kinds of silly questions and silly assumption as to what a messenger be like. Why was the Quan not revealed to him all at once? Why is he sent without an angle? Why is he not from a higher social ranking? Why is sent without a treasure? Why is he not like this ...why is he not like that etc etc etc...instead of sincerely examining the message he is conveying to them. They will do many things to deceive themself and prevent themself from believing in a messenger that LEADS THEM TO THE TRUTH AND SALVATION!! And those before them have schemed, but to God is all scheming. He knows what every soul earns and the rejecters will come to know to whom is the better abode. And those who reject say ?You are not a messenger.? Say ?God is sufficient as a witness between me and you, the One who has the knowledge of the Scripture.? When it comes to messengeeship and prophet-hood, the book of GOD indicates 3 categories. Talking to and about previous messengers and prophets such as Noah, Ibrahim, Moses, Jesus, etc etc etc. Talks about and to a specific and generally un-named messenger...the one that had the book or the meaning of the book revealed to him and about specific events that happened in his time...that messenger most likely being "Ahmad"...the one who came 1400+ years ago...the one who was mentioned by name by Jesus. And when Jesus, son of Mary, said ?O children of Israel, I am God's messenger to you, authenticating what is present with me of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me whose name is Ahmad.? But when he showed them the clear proofs, they said ?This is profound magic.? The third part APPLY to the a present messenger who is the SEAL of prophets in his present time...and actual living events and process...the part that applies to Muhammad as he comes to seal the prophets before him. I believe a messenger starts as a messenger and can progress to prophet-hood ( A higher level of insperations and wisdom that enables him to foresee and predict a more accurate future results), all depends on his effort and GOD'S will. AHMAD V.S MUHAMMAD The on-going progressive revelations coming from the MOTHER BOOK to confirm the message in the book between our hands continues as Humans continue to develop and EVOLVE. There is no indication that that process has ended...on the contrary...many verses indicate the opposite. People are responsible of their own times, not that of their ancestors. REALITY CHECK # 1 GOD says that "Muhammad" is Not the FATHER of any of our men...what does that mean!? Muhammad is not the father of any man among you. He is a messenger of GOD and the SEAL of prophet. GOD is fully aware of all things. Note; GOD did not say "he is not any of your men"...HE says "he is NOT the Father of any of your men" !!?? So it means Muhammad could be one of our men and he is NOT LIMITED to as "WAS the father of one of our men"!!?? GOD also says "Muhammad" is a Messenger, and the SEAL of prophets...HE NEVER said he was the last (akher) messenger AND HE NEVER SAID he was the last prophet...instead HE used the word SEAL!!! Another aspect to consider is what the word SEAL actually means...does it mean Finish there will be no more Muhammad and no more SEALS?...could the SEAL be a continuous SEAL...and on-going SEAL..why not??? Normally the SEALING process could happen more than once if not often. REALITY CHECK # 2 Muhammad is no more than a messenger like the messengers before him. Should he die or get killed, would you turn back on your heels? Anyone who turns back on his heels, does not hurt GOD in the least. GOD rewards those who are appreciative. Note GOD is talking about Muhammad in general again using the word "Afa-in" which indicates an on-going possibility (should he die or get killed). REALITY CHECK # 3 Those who believe and work righteousness, and believe in what is being sent down to Muhammad - which is the truth from their Lord - He remits their sins, and blesses them with contentment. Note the word "nuzilla" not "unnzilla" !!??...Sounds like a recent past continuous sentence...which means this verse can apply as the revelation is coming down at any given time!! REALITY CHECK # 4 Muhammad - the messenger of GOD - and those with him stand firm against the disbelievers, but kind and compassionate amongst themselves. YOU SEE THEM bowing and prostrating, as they seek GOD's blessings and approval. Their expressions on their faces is an indication of their prostration. This is the same example as in the Torah. Their example in the Enjeel is like plants that grow taller and stronger, and please the farmers. He thus enrages the disbelievers. GOD promises those among them who believe, and lead a righteous life, forgiveness and a great recompense. Note GOD is saying YOU SEE THEM and able to recognise their expressions!!?? SO ASK YOURSELF The description Muhammad means The one whom people Thank GOD for. What is the REAL different between "Ahmad" and "Muhammad"!?? What is the REAL difference between a prophet and a Messenger??. Is VERY possible that the messenger mentioned by "JESUS" called "AHMAD" was the actual name of the messenger who received the QURAN, or received revelation from the BOOK 1400+ years ago and "MUHAMMAD" could be a description/titel of him, and or a description/titel of a messenger after him...a Muhammad descriptive title of human messenger conveying, and un-covering/clarifying GOD'S message in the book...A message that announces the completion of GOD'S "Method of duty", the fulfillment of HIS blessings upon us, and the declaration of HIS acceptance of ISLAM as a "Method of duty", hence a SEAL of the prophets before him !! Is GOD REALLY commanding us to OBEY A DEAD messenger, and to have him judge between us!?...is the word To JUDGE and OBEY normally used for a dead person or a living one?? All the above Serious, Important, Questions are healthy, legitimate, and valid Questions...but Traditionalists are blinded by worshiping their ancestors to the point that they feel paranoid that their already corrupted religion will be corrupted!! People might be ignoring, and abusing live messengers in the name of following, obeying, glodifying and worshiping dead messengers!! GOD ALONE choose and sends messengers according to HIS Timing and according to HIS will and wisdom to CONVEY AND CLARIFY HIS message to people....AND NO ONE CAN PREVENT THAT FROM HAPPENING. Muhammad is GOD'S FALLIBLE Human messenger...he is the "SEAL" of prophets before him...he is a warner, give good news, conveys and Clarifies GOD'S message, guides people, leads the believers, and roles in consultation by GOD'S BOOK. As believers of the BOOK advance in guidance and knowledge they WILL RECOGNIZE the messenger and that will help them recognize the message more and speed up their guidance KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM and ACHIEVEMENTS. Let me share with you a secret...it is NOT a simple thing for anyone to claim to be a messenger of GOD...especially among the TRADITIONAL So-called Muslims...so you would think that FACT would make any sincere humble seeker of the truth who have real respect to GOD...would make him HUMBLE AND SERIOUS in his examination of such claim...not rushing in ARROGANCE, CROOKEDNESS, AND REJECTION instead! It is VERY CLEAR, or anyone with minimum commonsnse that the info being presented in this site is NO NONSENSE. Let me share with you one more VERY IMPORTANT Information...anyone who claims that Muhammad means exactly the the same as Ahmad without showing a CLEAR PROOF is a plain LIAR! And anyone who claims that Muhammad is a one single dead messenger without showing a CLEAR PROOF is a plain LIAR! There is NOT a single proof to that...and on the contrary there are many proofs to the opposite for the sincere humble seeker of GOD'S Guidance. One last point...why do many people feel negative about the prospect of a messenger instead of total happiness...it does not hurt them in anyway, there are many crazy people who do and can claim that they are GOD himself...hey, it is a free world...A GOD GIVEN FREEDOM. When you think about it, believing in the messenger comes after believing in the book NOT BEFOR, people might respect him and take him seriously and presume he is a messenger but, they will REALIZED and BELIEVE he is a messenger BASED ON THEIR BELIEVE AND REALIZATION OF THE RELEVANT VERSES OF THE BOOK. The Claim/announcement of himself is not for people to believe in him blindly...it is just to examine him and his believe honestly, fairly, humbly, sincerely, and seriously. Muhammad is NOT the father of any man among you, but the messenger of GOD and the seal of the prophets. And GOD is fully aware of all things. I advice YOU to sincerely and humbly SEEK GOD'S Guidance because that is the "ONLY" way to understand HIS message hence the "ONLY" way to RECOGNIZE HIS MESSENGER! http//www.genuine-islam.com/index.htm here is their main site, if Zed or anyone has any refutations post them under this thread and I'll email them to the site and post their refutation they send me if they have one peace

Peace one and All For many weeks the forum has been flooded with a series of posts from both traditionalists and people who associate themselves with free-minds. The thing is these posts are insults from one party to another. The sarcasm, damnation, cursing, name-calling, more righteous than you behaviors and attitudes are very much unnecessary and it needs to stop now! If you guys truly believe in God and seek to reach out to God, then obey the commands given us from God through the messengers. Instead of arguing in these baseless repititous posts, pardon others and waylay falling into the crowd of ignorant people. 7199 Take to pardoning, and order with what is good, and turn away from the ignorant ones. Be nice and offer a goodly word rather then engaging in the act of being ignorant. 2563 And the servants of the Almighty who walk on the earth in humility and if the ignorant speak to them, they say "Peace." Don't even lend an ear to foolish/ignorant talk, ignore it, turn away and go about to better things. 2855 And if they come across vain talk, they disregard it and say "To us are our deeds, and to you is your deeds. Peace be upon you. We do not seek the ignorant." You can argue till hell freezes over, at the expense of yourselves, but action will be taken against any and all offenders who continue to argue ignorantly. Take care. Joe

Salam all, While reading 'the arab conspiracy' (quite an interesting article, ... has some very valid points) few things came to mind...some questions and general opinions about stuff...so please bear with me and read on...I hope everyone who's maybe gone through this, or has something to share (opinions/comments) would do so...tia... Okay, reading the start, preface and all...led me to think...that over the course of history, people have corrupted God's deen time and time again by embellishing and trying to create a cultish/elitist type thing where only those that follow a certain 'set' of rituals/way can achieve salvation...always creating some kind of intercession between man and God. This leads them to try and consolidate power in some body of sorts that will then be the 'way' through to saving man's collective souls...if you don't go through this body, you are damned so to say..(catholicism, judaic belief in having to be born a jew ,being God's chosen race etc and now the certain set of rituals/beliefs that you have to have/do/profess to attain salvation basically in modern day 'islam' that have virtually nothing to do with the Quran). Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it and all that, i do believe thogh that everything in the Quran is universal and has to apply to everyone regardless of where they are..with that in mind...going through the salat section certain things.. First I was thinking that maybe commitments fits somewhere and learning connection fits elsewhere but see, we can't take it to mean two different things..consistency is the key...so it all fell into place and commitments does seem to fit everywhere..it does require a shift in thinking and then your perception picks up things that you couldn't otherwise see...and this way starting from the time of fajr when you read the Quran through the whole day...you have to keep that fear/thought of God and those guidelines in mind, then all day and night everything you do will be in line with keeping your end of the commitments/obligations which is what the link would be...this link of your daily life with God, complete with no demarcation...it seems very easy to just do the ritual prayers and there, thats it..you are done with your obligations but keeping it going throughout takes strength... I would, though, like to read any thoughts on how we can shorten our commitments while travelling... We also studied a little bit of the 'Baytul' thing...and i do have more questions but they will have to wait until i'm through studying it..but one thing seems to be there...Why did the prophet retake Mecca...as it was the nexus of Quraysh's power (which was the top dog around at the time, over every other tribe)... the capital of sorts, so to say, it makes complete strategic sense to take it...not because there was a house of God there (this house could well be a pagan shrine)...and as its documented in various sources hadith and all that he destroyed the idols etc (bear with me as i'm theorising a bit here)...He would not have asked anyone to do anything there right?? Then when did this thing come about?!?! When was it rebuilt/built?? There should be records of this as it's a very big thing to happen in God's deen and everyone following God's system/deen prevalent at time i.e. Quran only(supposedly without this house), would be concerned...As it's mentioned in the Quran, 002.282 YUSUFALI O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties let not the scribe refuse to write as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If they party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; For it is Good that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him Fear his Lord conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, - his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do. This means that God wanted a system where everyone would record/write down stuff to avoid future problems, also this thinking would be prevalent,of writing down history (by scribes at least), or other stuff like when did certain things happen etc... boring mundane stuff, like who bought what and where, land sold to whom, what building being constructed etc...where are these documents/records/contracts/history?? Like the Vatican and all the secrets/documents it's hidden away...does mecca/medina/arab govt have these documents?? If they confirm that the 'house' was built later or that there was no such pilgrimage that used to be done during the times of the prophet and later, then they might well have destroyed/hidden them...but it would be interesting to say the least...I have not heard or read anywhere about such contracts/documents, seems strange that such a history (every other culture has these mundane history records..romans/egyptians/greeks etc) does NOT exist except for the so called hadith... The 'hadith', 'sayings of the prophet' does not seem to be a valid history...they seem to be like a gossip column/tabloid(with occasional historical references, i admit, but that is hardly understood as the embellishments pertaining to the'religious/ritualistic' aspect have completely drowned out any sense/credibility that historical reference might have had if it was just a normal everyday account) where you give the people what they want to hear/appeal to their base desires...mention sex, the future, murder, strange creatures with one eye etc...no wonder things spiraled out of control...i mean the people wanted to hear this stuff or it would not have been so popular/pervasive throughout...makes sense don't it?!? On the other hand maybe the Saudi govt is ignorant of the importance of their history, maybe no one has(these same mundane documents are the real meat of it all, they actually tell us far more than anything else about any time period) actually realised the benefit of actually having these things studied, and scanned and put up where the public can access it....Someone (maybe a govt of, say, pakistan can request them to send scanned/copied documents that they can archive and set up on the internet for the public, who can then research it or just plain look at it...why not?? Anyway, thoughts are much needed/appreciated/welcome.. I am learning arabic so that I can translate for myself, learn things that may have been overlooked etc..am using An Introduction to Koranic and Classical Arabic by Wheeler M. Thackston Edward Lane's Lexicon Hans Wehr Dictionary Arabic through the Quran by Alan Jones Any more recommendations?!? Suggestions?? BTW, i do feel that you need to take whatever you experience/learn about in life and apply it to the best of your ability whenever you try to understand something so profound as the Quran. As that allows you to really get to another level..if you don't you stand at a serious risk of stifling creative/original thought and thinking processes...leading to a stunted growth of the soul. Ps forgive the extensive use of slashes..i can think/write better when they are present, also any other ramblings that might be diffult to understand due to bad construction of sentences/grammatical liberty etc..just ask me to clarify please ..thanks...

Peace all, Time is invaluable, it is damage to lose it with those who made the choice to reject God's verses and His commands. This is from LAHWAL HADITH Invite the Muslims to follow the Quran they will mock at you. They believe in the Quran but follow the Hadith. The Hadith writers have mislead millions of Muslims from the right path of Allah and have made a mockery of the book of Allah. Nor can you guide the blind from their misguidance. You can only make those who believe in Our revelations hear you, for they have surrendered. ?To you is your system, and to me is mine.? God bless Marie

Ya Sin. By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- Thou art indeed one of the messengers, On a Straight Way. By the Star when it goes down,- Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled. Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him He was taught by one Mighty in Power, In another thread earlier, Damon had tried to present arguments, like all other Hadith Rejecting Disbelievers on this forum, that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was not perfect and comitted many sins and errors. I will insha'Allah prove you all wrong in this post and show you that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) was free from error and sin as you falsely claim. Peace all, The verse in question is 1736 And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning). The verse implies that do not go after something which you have no knoweldge about, and that is exactly what you people are doing. NO ONE has EVER had any knowledge of the "Qur'an-only" doctrine in the history of mankind before you corruptors were born. We have CLEAR Knowledge that the Qur'an is with us. We have CLEAR knowledge that the Ahadith are with us. We have clear records of how the Qur'an was preserved. And we have clear record of how the Ahadith were preserved. It is only YOU people who have sprung up recently and claim that these records are false WITH NO EVIDENCE whatsoever. We have written testimonies and evidence of the chain os narrators who heard the narrations directly from the messenger of Allah (pbuh). You have NO PROOF whatsoever against this. Therefore you people follow conjecture and are in pursuit of things you have no knowlede about. First of all, you have absolutely NO Quranic basis whatsoever to attach the "message" to the fabricated hadith. Please show me where in the Quran does Allah ever say that we have to listen to hadith other than ahsunul hadith (The Quran). You Can't!!! Because it's not there. Period!!! Of course there isn't. Why would Allah (swt) want you to follow a fabricated Hadith?? Allah (swt) has commanded us to follow the PROPHET of Allah (pbuh). Therefore any knowledge you have of him, you follow it. And what more knowledge do we have of him than in the Hadith books?? And you can't even prove is by basic logic that this is false. Too bad son. Second of all, contrary to what you say, there are plenty of errors in the fabricated hadith. Here are a couple of them just for you I am going to love this nice little list since you will be ashamed as you will be proven wrong again and again lol Killing "Apostates", which is a commandment in hadith, contradict and violate the Quran 2256, 490, 1099, 1829, 8821-22 On the other hand, apostates such as you should be KILLED If a person has left Islam and them wages war against Islam, whether verbal or physcial this person should be killed The punishment of those who wage war against Allah AND His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter; "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they) But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-" Stoning adulterers, another hadith based injunction, contradicts and violtaes the Quran 242 and 425 How does it contradict those verses??? lol In fact the Qur'an and Hadith go hand in hand in prescribing the punishment of lashing to adulterers. Where is the contradition? Where in the Holy Qur'an does it say that you can't stone the adulterers? And where in the Hadith does it say that they should not be lashed?? There is no contradition whatsoever. The punishment prescribed in the Qur'an is the COMPULSORY punishment, while in the Hadith the extra punishment of stoning in the case where the adulterers are married is the Sunnah punishment. Forcing people to observe Salaat and killing them if they do not goes against 2256, 1829. These two verses are also violated when you kill people for drinking alcohol for a 4th time or more. "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them. ... lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way ..." Besides, how is a CONTRADITION when the Qur'an no where does it state that "we should not kill those who do not prayer" or "those who drink". Only then would it be a contraditiction. No one is ever claiming the commandments in the Holy Qur'an are exactly the same, with nothing added and nothing taken away from them. The Qur'an stands in it's own, while the Sunnah stands on it's own. And Alla (swt) has commanded us to follow the Sunnah of the messenger of Allah (pbuh) These are Allah's limits, and whoever obeys Allah AND His Apostle, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them; and this is the great achievement. And whoever disobeys Allah AND His Apostle and goes beyond His limits, He will cause him to enter fire to abide in it, and he shall have an abasing chastisement" (Holy Qur'an 413-14) The hadith that were fabricated saying that Muhammad was The Most Honorable Messenger goes against 2285 Why do you then follow the religion of someone who is not honoured in your site?? That is very illogical. Why don't you become a Christian since Jesus Christ (pbuh) was sinless, gave life to the dead etc.?? Verse 2285 is talking about the distinction in the sense of BELIEVING in them. Notice the word "believe" in the verse. We believe that they ALL came from Allah (swt) and all were rightly guided and came with ONE MESSAGE. It is in this regard that we make no distinction between them. On the other hand, Allah (swt) Himself states that prophet's have levels of honour Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan. The hadith claiming prophet Muhammad to be infallible contradict and violate 479, 9117, 1773-74, 3337, 4066, 661, 801-10, 937 479 Whatever good (O man!) happens to thee is from Allah; but whatever evil happens to thee is from thy (own) soul. And We have sent thee as an Apostle to (instruct) mankind and enough is Allah for a witness. The verse is talking about PEOPLE in general and NOT refering to the messenger directly. 9117 Allah turned with favor to the prophet the Muhajirs and the Ansar who followed Him in a time of distress after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also) for He is unto them Most Kind Most Merciful. I can't believe that a person who has very little mentality us given us verses such as these where the subject of the verse is someone else, and is is implying them on the prophet cos he hate nothing in his heart but HATE for the prophet. The verse is clearly talking about "some of them"... how did you take that to mean the prophet?? 1773-74 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee to substitute in Our name something quite different (in that case) behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! And had We not given thee strength thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little. The verse talks about what was in the hearts of the hypocrites. And it is talking about a hypothetical scenario that did not occure. Of course, to a fools mind such as your's, he think such a thing had occured (i.e. the hypcrites succeeded in substituting the name of Allah with something else) 3337 "And when you (Prophet) were ordering the person whom Allah had graced, and you, too, had graced him hold your wife with you and fear Allah; and you are hiding in your mind something which Allah is going to manifest, and you fear the people whereas Allah is more worthy of being feared. So when your adopted son (Zaid) had dissolved his marriage with that lady, We (i.e. Allah) had married you to that woman so that there should be no bar on believers in marrying the wives of their adopted sons when they finalize the breakage of their wedlock with them, and this was an order of Allah which was destined to be executed." Zaid was an adopted son of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) long before he began his mission as a prophet. So you could say that this happened long before Islam came as a religion. As time went on, the religion of Islam was being formulated and put into practice by the Holy Prophet, as revealed to him by Allah (swt). Zaid eventually got married to Zainab (ra). It was after this that any verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). Then the revelation of prohibition of adoption were revealed to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). Therefore, from now on all adoptions have to come to an end, and people have to be known by their own real parents. No one can adopt another child and then claim that they were their own real children. Coinsidently, the marriage between Zaid and Zainab was not working out, because Zaid was a free-slave while Zainab considered herself higher socially superior, so reluctantly Zaid divorces Zainab (pbuh). There are many issues here, Zaid was a free-slave, while Zainab was socially superior than him After the divorce no one would have married a widow who was divorced by a free-slave Zaid was the adopted son of the prophet and therefore, people in those days believed that an adopted son was like a real son. Then the verses were revealed that ordered the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to marry Zainab (ra). This was done so so clear all those false stigmas in the society as that time. Even thought the Holy prophet tried very hard to save the marriage of Zaid and Zainab by requesting them not go to with the divorce, it was destined that they'd be divorced so that another lesson from the marriage between the Holy Prophet and Zainab was to be learned by mankind. See below. By marrying Zainab, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) gave the superiority to women who were divorcees, and being divorced by someone who was considered lowe in the society would result in that woman never to find a husband again. Therefore, the Holy Prophet broke this stigma and gave the superiority to women in this sense that we should not look at who the person was who divorced the woman. Also, by marrying Zainab (ra) the the Holy Prophet (pbuh) demonstrated practically the nullification of all adoption. Had adoption been of any significance, it would not have been possible that the Prophet marries a former wife of his former adopted son. The fact that the marriage took place and was specifically ordered by Allah left no doubt whatsoever that adoption is totally forbidden in Islam. Read the aboveverse again that explains all this. 4066 Say "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom ye invoke besides Allah seeing that the Clear Signs have come to me from my Lord and I have been commanded to bow (in Islam) to the Lord of the Worlds." How does this suggest that the prophet was in error like you claim to believe? 661 O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Where does it say that the Messenger comitted a mistake?????? As the context of the verse goes.. some of the prophets wives became jellous of each other that the prophet spends more time with the others and less with them. So he decided that for one whole month he would not any sexual relations with any one of them. The Holy Prophet had decided not have have intercourse with any of his wifes for a whole month so that those jeleous wives would feel better. Since the Holy Prophet has human feelings he had to right to feel this way, did he not? This is when Allah (swt) revealed the above verse to give a message that you should not "abandon", "forbid" or "make unlawful" something that Allah (swt) has made lawful for us. In a sense it is a message going to mankind through this action of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) that we cannot abandon something or forbid it just to make someone happy. So tell me, where did he go wrong??? 801-10 (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, To him dost thou attend; Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, And with fear (in his heart), Of him wast thou unmindful. By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. Where did he "error"? And how? He simply turned his back to the blind man that came to him because the prophet (pbuh) was merciful and thought how could a blind man comit a sin and need guidance? He focussed on delivering the message to those who were rich and comitted much evil. Nevertheless, this was in fact a message to us, the Muslims in time to come that we should not focus just on those big forces of evil, the rish and the opressors. We should also guide and give knowledge to the weak, the poor and the needy. They too will no doubt will benefit from spiritual knowledge even thought they may not be comitting sins. There is no mistake or "error" on the part of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He was simply given guidance on how to and to whome to give the message of Allah (swt) to. 937 And He found thee wandering and He gave thee guidance. That is a misinterpreted verse. The translation might be correct but it is misinterpreted by the majority. The real meaning of this verse is given in the translation by Ahmad Raza Khan (r.a.) And He found thee wandering and He gave thee guidance. And He found you drown in His Love, therefore gave way unto Him. "Daallan" is often applied to the one who is "obsessive in love" and in this case for Allah (swt). He used to visit the cave of Hira and for 3 days at a time he used to stay there worshipping Allah (swt). The food that his wife Khadijah used to leave for him used to be left untouched and he had become so deeply attached in love for Allah (swt) that his feet used to get swollen due to excessive standing while praying. In this way he has lost his awareness about the world, and he was given the good news of prophecy and success in the near future about his mission, as described in the same surah. The verse can also apply to another situation when the Holy Prophet (pbuh) when he was young became lost. He was about 6 years old and walking with his nanny Halima. On the way to the prophet's mother house, he became lost and Halima couldn't find him. She called out for him but there was no sign of where he had gone. Then someone saw that two men in white came put the boy down in the ground and cut open his chest, took his heart out and washed it with zamzam water. The people came running to Halima and told her that her son had been murdered! She came running to where they had seen him but she saw him walking about normally. So the verse could also apply to this case where he became lost to OTHERS and was not lost in himself in the sense of erring. He was purified and then "handed" back to Halima. But I personally go with the first explanation as I have described above. If you take the meaning to be that he was in error or was led astray, then it contradicts this verse By the Star when it goes down,- Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled. All the hadith that claim the prophet to have power of intercession violate and contradict 248,123,254, 670,94, 753, 103, 3944, 4386 and 7448 All these verses that speak about "no intercession" apply to hadith rejectors like you. On the other hand there are tonds of verses that apply to us the Sunnis where intercession will be given to us Allah! There is no god but He,- the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory). Verily your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and is firmly established on the throne (of authority), regulating and governing all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His leave (hath been obtained). This is Allah your Lord; Him therefore serve ye will ye not receive admonition? On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. And We did not send before you any messenger but We revealed to him that there is no god but Me, therefore serve Me. And they say The Beneficent Allah has taken to Himself a son. Glory be to Him. Nay! they are honored servants They do not precede Him in speech and (only) according to His commandment do they act. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves and for fear of Him they tremble. And whoever of them should say Surely I am a god besides Him, such a one do We recompense with hell; thus do, We recompense the unjust. "No intercession can avail in His Presence, except for those for whom He has granted permission. So far (is this the case) that, when terror is removed from their hearts (at the Day of Judgment, then) will they say, ?what is it that your Lord commanded?? they will say, ?That which is true and just; and He is the Most High Most Great?." Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire! And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. And preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement." And those unto whom they cry instead of Him possess no power of intercession, saving him who beareth witness unto the Truth knowingly. How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him. The hadith which forbids men to wear gold and silk has two flaws. One, it violates Quran 548-49, 731-32 To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute; And this (He commands) Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crime it is Allah's purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious. Where does it say ANYTHING about silk and gold there?? Looks like you are blind. and Two, it shows a double standard or "Favortism" on the prophets part because he allowed one of his "Companions" to wear gold. If it's haraam, it should be spread across the board, and not only be applicable to certain people, right??? Which companion did he allow to wear gold? Quote the hadith. Making ablind statement doesn't mean anything. That was just a minute sampling of all the bullet holes that are sprinkled throughout the fabricated hadith and sunnah. I am enjoying this since your ass is getting lashed left, right and center. Give me more, give me more!!! lol please give me some verse which says that only Quran alone was sent to Prophets before Prophet Muhammad. 2101, 320, 3531, 568, 2135, 4125. 2101 And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know! Where does it say that "only the Qur'an alone was sent and that is the only thing you should follow"?? lol 320 So if they dispute with thee, say "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants. Again, where in the world does it say that only Qur'an-only was given to the previous prophets? In fact this verse tells us to follow the messenger on top of following Allah (swt). 3531 That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth,- confirming what was (revealed) before it for Allah is assuredly- with respect to His Servants - well acquainted and Fully Observant. Where does it say that ONLY the book (i.e. the Qur'an) should be followed?? 568 Say "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith. Again, where does it say that Qur'an only should be folowed or that was the only thing sent to mankind??? roll 2135 O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. Absolutely. However, I thought you were trying to give us verses that show that only the Qur'an is to be followed and that was the only thing sent to mankind!!! lol 4125 Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend. Again, absolutely. You have just proven yourself wrong by giving us verses that show that Allah (swt) commands us to follow the prophet's of God and not just the message that is given to them. LOSER!!!!!! twisted Tough Luck son. As you can see, you failed to give a SINGLE piece of evidence even from the book that you so much boast to follow. lol Did I not tell you before hand that I am going to love replying to your false thoeories and will prove you wrong in all aspects. And just look at my reply above and you will agree if you are a true seeker of Truth. I am sure you must be feeling really embarrassed and ashamed that I proved you so wrong. Tough luck son. Not everyone in the world is on the right path. And you just happened to choose to follow the wrong path. There is still time, so repent and accept the Messenger of Allah, Muhmmad (pbuh) with all your heart and honour and follow him. Insha'allah. Peace.

Peace on all who followed guidance, ayman wrote Peace on who followed the guidance, ZED Wrote Only on those who follow guidance? In the Qur'an we find this beautiful expression; Fa/tiyahu faqoola innarasoola rabbika faarsil maAAana banee isra-eelawala tuAAaththibhum qad ji/naka bi-ayatinmin rabbika waalssalamu AAala mani ittabaAAaalhuda "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance!

The northern Indian Deobandi school argues that the reason Islamic societies have fallen behind the West in all spheres of endeavor is because they have been seduced by the amoral and material accoutrements of Westernization, and have deviated from the original pristine teachings of the Prophet. Deoband is a town a hundred miles north of Delhi where a madrasa(religious school) was established there in 1867. The so-called 'Deobandi Tradition' itself is much older than the eponymous Dar-Ul-Ulum at Deoband. The Deoband madrasa brought together Muslims who were hostile to British rule and committed to a literal and austere interpretation of Islam. Propelled by oil-generated wealth, the Wahhabi worldview has co-opted the Deobandi movement in South Asia. For the last 200 years, Sunnis often have looked to the example of the Deoband madrassa (religious school) near Delhi, India. Most of the Taliban leadership attended Deobandi-influenced seminaries in Pakistan. The Deoband school has long sought to purify Islam by discarding supposedly un-Islamic accretions to the faith and reemphasizing the models established in the Koran and the customary practices of the Prophet Mohammed. Additionally, Deobandi scholars often have opposed what they perceive as Western influences. Just as Sikhs originated from Hinduism, but are not Hindus, and Protestants came from Roman Catholicism, but are not Catholics, similarly, the Deobandi sect originated in the Sunni community, but are not strictly Sunnis. The Deobandi interpretation of Islamic teachings is widely practiced in Pakistan. The Deobandi movement in Sunni Islam, was founded in response to British colonial rule in India and later hardened in Pakistan into bitter opposition to what its members views as the country's neo-colonial elite. The Islamic Deobandi militants share the Taliban's restrictive view of women, and regard Pakistan's minority Shiia as non-Muslim. They seek a pure leader, or amir, to recreate Pakistani society according to the egalitarian model of Islam's early days under the Prophet Mohammed. During the first half of April 2000, the Government of Pakistan permitted a 3-day conference organized by the Deobandi Muslim political party Jamiat-Ulema-Islami (JUI). Several speakers at the conference made anti-Western political declarations. Deobandi and Barelvi sects struggled, sometimes violently, for control over local mosques in Lahore neighborhoods. The Deobandi School and the Taliban are strict followers of the Hanafi legal code. Saudi Arabia strictly follows the Hanbali legal code. This was a divisive point between the Taliban and the Saudi government. The fundamentalist Deoband Dar-ul-Uloom brand of Islam inspired the Taliban movement and has widespread appeal for Muslim fundamentalists. The Deobandi interpretation holds that a Muslim's first loyalty is to his religion and only then to the country of which he is a citizen or a resident; secondly, that Muslims recognise only the religious frontiers of their Ummah and not the national frontiers; thirdly, that they have a sacred right and obligation to go to any country to wage jihad to protect the Muslims of that country. The Taliban was propped up initially by the civil government of Benazir Bhutto, then in coalition with the Deobandi Jama'at-ulema Islam (JUI) led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman .

Narrated by abu sufian, one day princeZed was walking on the street and suddenly he saw bunch of people beating up a guy. He rushed there and asked what that person has done. One of the guy explained to him that he has stolen a neckless from a shop and so and so.....After hearing the situation he took out a sharf knife out of his bag and along wth those people he cut off the hands of that thief. After that prienceZed claimed that such was God's inspiration to him to cut the hands of a theif. Narrated by Shahruk khan, One day princeZed was going through a road and suddenly saw a beautyful lady named Ashwariya Rai was walking in short dress. PrinceZed ran to her with a stick and gave 10 lashes. Such was the punishment for not wearing hijab in public places. Narrated by Ali monkey, One day PrinceZed went to zoo to have a look at the wild creatures that God have created. When he came near the monkey cage, he saw a male monkey trying to make love to female monkey. PrienceZed quickly picked some stones from the ground and started to throw at them. All the peoples around were shocked to see prienceZed doing that. Later He explained to everyone that those two monkies were trying to have sex while they are not married. And God has inspired to him that everyone should throw stones at those who commit such sin. Collected from Sahih bukhura Hadith

Satan n (Judeo-Christian religion) chief spirit of evil and adversary of God; tempter of mankind; master of Hell Shaitan Shait'an - (Sheen-Ta-Noon). The common English equivalent for this word, namely Devil, does not properly express the Quranic sense of the original term. To start with, note the various meanings of the root Shatan is a string which is long, twisted and strong. Beirun-Shatunun is a well which is very deep. In fact, anything which is far away is called Shatunun or Shatinun. Ar-Rumani has written that words like Shatta, Shatana and B'aoda are synonyms (Alf'az-ul-Mutradif'at). Ibn-e-Faris has also written that its basic meaning is to get far away. Shatana means that a person went far away. Shatana-Sahibuhu means that person opposed the intention as well as direction of his companion or kept his companion's intention different than his own, and from this reference the meaning of opposition and rebellion were derived (Taj / Lane). So the word Shait'an means one- Who is away from Allah's Blessings, and hence devoid of life's pleasant things. Who follows a wrong path, leaving aside the right one or becomes rebellious. Shait'an is the name of an ugly serpent, as well as the intensity of thirst. As in verse (38/41) Job called his Rabb that he was touched by a serpent or felt extremely thirsty (Mirza Abul Fazal with reference to Q'amoos). Some scholars think that the word Shait'an is taken from Shait'un which means to get burnt, to get destroyed. Sh'atas-Samno means that the oil got so hot that it was near burning. So the word Shait'an means, the rebellious one having destructive or inflammable qualities. In Hebrew Shait'an means one who puts obstacles. In the Quran, verse (19/44) says that Shait'an is one who revolts against the orders of Allah. Verse (28/15) explains that when Moses stuck a blow to an Egyptian, as a result of which he died, Moses said, "O this was the satanic action!" So this means anything wrong which is done under emotional pressure is Shaitanat. The ring leaders of the people who opposed the system of Allah were called Shia'teen (2/14, 12/5). Those barbaric and rebellious tribes whom Solomon brought under his control and put them to work were called Shia'teen (21/82, 38/37). About a tree in Jahannam Allah says, "Its spathes are like the prickly pear." (37/65) Ka Annahu Rouso Shia'teen. And We guard them against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits (37/7). So according to the Holy Quran, any authority or power which differs, deviates or revolts against the Law or course of Allah is Shait'an. Is it now justified to to translate shairan to satan?

peace, The righteous have deserved, at their Lord, paradises of bliss. Should We treat the ones who surrendered the same as those who are criminals? What is wrong with you, how do you judge? Or do you have another book inwhich you uphold? In it, can you find what you wish? Or do you have an oath from Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that you can judge as you please? Ask them ?Who of them will make such a claim?? (6834-40) your thoughts? peace
