I came across a web site where a person called Husain Makbool is claiming to be a messenger of Allah. As proof he is using code 19, plus a new code based on 7 and 14. http//www.godprovenas1.com/ This is just a small sample of his claim to be a messenger you will need to check the site yourselve Fact These are the only Quranic Initials that appear in consecutive chapters 40-46 and as pairs of 7, to total 14. My name is Husain Makbool and H.M. initials represent my name. To prove that these are truthfully a SIGN for me, look at the precision of God's mathematics to fit a specific pattern. GOD'S SIGN for me - the Seven Pairs A MIRACLE 402 This revelation of the scripture is from God, the Almighty, the Omniscient. PROOF My initials are precisely 14 Seven Pairs in the above verse, proving that the Quran has been revealed to me through the Seven Pairs. Fact The last chapter that has my name verses is chapter 37. Before this chapter, all verses that have the digit 7 in them are One thing that caught my attention is that in his list of proof is the sign of the antichrist A MIRACLE There are 666 verses before 4174. 666 + verse 174 = 840, my SIGN of H.M. Other proof he gives are Proof #1. Verses of my name 178 and 128 appear precisely 14 times in the Quran, and the count of God appears 7 times in these 14 verses. This is my SIGN of "SEVEN PAIRS." Proof #2. The first initials of my first and last name are M.H. OR H.M. These also appear in the Quran through chapters 40-46 in 7 chapters with a total of 14 Quranic Initals as H.M. When attached with my name, which they represent, we get multiples of 19 and 14, being the ULTIMATE MIRACLE Proof #3. The first occurrence of H.M. is in verse 401, not as a word, but only as Quranic Initials. The remaining chapter has 14 occurrences of H.M. appearing within the same word, as given in "REVELATION OF H.M." These 14 words, in addition are guarded by Allah's (Most Glorified) letters as 14. Proof #4. The verse immediately after these Quranic Initials is 402 402 This revelation of the scripture is from God, the Almighty, the Omniscient. My name initials (M-Q-L-H-S-Y-N - as converted into English from Arabic) are precisely 14 - Messenger of 7 Pairs. The 14 name initials in this verse are as follows Proof #5. The chapter of revelation of H.M. is 40, which reveals my name 178 as Makbool. chapter 40 + number of verses 85 + count of God 53 = 178 MAKBOOL. He goes on and lists other so called proof. Does anyone know anything about this person

Peace, According to the official website of Jordan's King Abudallh II (current king), he is the 43rd direct descendant of prophet Muhammad. Do any of you believe so? I actually meet several Sunni's from countires like India and Pakistan and some claim that they are "Sayeed" which means they are directly related to the prophet's family and can thus only marry to other "Sayeed's". Is this true? Also, wasn't someone by the name of Queen Noor his wife, his site says his wife is Queen Rania, or does he have two? http//www.queenrania.jo http//www.kingabdullah.jo/main.php?main_page=0&lang_hmka1=1

Peace All, "I was sitting here eating my muffin replaying the scene in my head and I had what alcholics refer to as a moment of clarity." Samuel L. Jackson, as Julius, in "Pulp Fiction" Personally speaking, I have had quite a few moments of clarity, or defining moments, or epiphinanies. Whatever it can be called, I've experienced moments in my life when I felt truly "connected" to something outside of myself. I could see my life, I could be completely objective. In those moments, I could ask for guidance and the guidance comes immediately. The answers are there before the questions arise, as are answers to questions I didn't even know I had. The chain reaction is phenomenal, and in a few moments, I feel as if I've grown a few lifetimes. Of course I have no way of proving this to anyone. I'm hoping someone else has had similar experiences. In the context of 4251, Allah does not 'speak' to anyone except through inspiration/revelation, or from behind a veil/barrier. Is it not possible that the barrier is human comprehension? or the form of a dream? Could it be that there is an open channel of communication to Allah? I am not talking about revelation in the form of messengership, but of a personal nature. It seems to me, every time I've asked for guidance, I've gotten guidance. A skeptic might insist that it is my own mind that provides it's own solutions. I'm of the opinion that my own mind is the means, not the source. I'd be interested in any and all comments... And it is not for any human being that Allah will speak to him other than through direct Revelation (on the heart of His Messengers) or from behind a barrier (such as at Mount Sinai to Moses) or by sending a Messenger to convey His Words with His Permission (as all Messengers did). Verily, He is the Most High, the Wise. It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with Allah's permission, what Allah wills for He is Most High, Most Wise. And it was not (vouchsafed) to any mortal that Allah should speak to him unless (it be) by revelation or from behind a veil, or (that) He sendeth a messenger to reveal what He will by His leave. Lo! He is Exalted, Wise. Peace, Tay

Peace Zenje, So finally it doesn't really matter if there would exist such a Koran-Book (mushaf), where you can trust, that it's without error, because you always need to reflect anyway, because you could accidently miss a word, or learned a word wrong, etc. etc. etc. There you go! It doesn't really matter does it? wink I didn't say "it wouldn't be good to have a Koran-manuscript, where you can trust that it's without error", nor did I say "it doesn't matter at all". I meant that it wouldn't save you from reflecting. Here is my original statement again, with the original position of the underline So finally it doesn't really matter if there would exist such a Koran-Book (mushaf), where you can trust, that it's without error, because you always need to reflect anyway, because you could accidently miss a word, or learned a word wrong, etc. etc. etc. Hmm... I wonder, if the (19) code works with the 'different' quran? (I would say, there is only one Koran, the real text from God. But different Koran-manuscripts, the texts written down by humans/machines. So I guess you are talking about different "Koran-manuscripts".) I'm not completely sure, what you mean by "works". If you try to dissort Koran-manuscripts, e.g. removing one word "rahmaan" (Gracious), then the occurrences of "rahmaan" won't be a multiple of 19 anymore. I believe that the most correct Koran-manuscript is the Hafs-manuscript without verses 9128-129. (because Code-19 "works" here best, as well as the other reasons I mentioned against verses 9128-129.) I hope this answers your question. Which brings me to this, in the original quran (you know, the one without the markings?) did it even have verse numbers?... Would the code still work with that too? You mean the first Koran-manuscript? As long as there have been no errrors, and markings between the verses Yes. If there have been no markings between the verses, then not all patterns would have been visible, but some 19-patterns (e.g. word-occurences) would have been available. Peace, Omar

We read in the Quran that Satan has power over those who follow him, but not over the believers. So is Satan going to be sent away from here anytime before Judgement Day?

peace My own understanding is that, it really doesn?t matter how ones corpses are discarded or buried as long as they are safely and securely put away, being free of contamination and pollution. I?m sure people can make use of their spendings for better cause and for those who are alive and needy. What are your thoughts, guys? i would agree completely.

Hello Pinky, This is in response to your last two posts which should give you a fairly good idea about me and my concerns. Firstly, I?m not sure if you are truly aware of what?s going on here. I understand that you are fairly new on this forum and while I agree to your point a, the point b along with your last paragraph can be considered a judgemental call as observed from your post. The beef people have against me has been expressed, communicated and reiterated but keeps popping up. This behaviour is clearly seen amongst others as well for whatever their personal agendas. If you haven?t realized this yet, then I?m afraid you need to spend more time in studying all sections and threads of this forum, i.e. if you have the time, otherwise all subject matters already discussed continue to become unecessarily repetitious with lenthy posts, like this one. The goal is to discuss, analyze and understand the Quran from various perspectives. While I understand that Muslims believe in its divine origin or ?Allah?s? words and throughout my own past lifetime (being a born Muslim), I too, was a strict proponent until recently. Why, because like many others, I too have read, analyzed and understood it several times for what it professes, both internally and externally and looking at it from various angles to better understand it. This, then brings about my criticisms which has taken another unprecedented meaning of ?mocking? or ?defecations/urinations? along with other provocative, contemptuous and abusive language directed towards my person as a ?quran basher?, ?evil doer?, ?devil?, ?disbeliver? and so forth, which then gets confronted and retaliated by me. Keeping that in mind, members must use caution and care to discuss these criticisms by reason instead of cussing their hearts out, deliberating diversion from subject matter and causing further ill-will to the forum whereupon other cheerleaders march along with the pretense to promote this flare up even further by rage, hate and anger without involving themselves in discussion. I personally believe that members who are intelligent and knowledgeable enough in analyzing and evaluating my criticisms should step forward and present their viewpoints by proper discussion without alienating the subject matter and show discipline and diligence in discussion and respect to each other. This is not meant to gesture favoritism or cheerleading and certainly not meant for weak hearted, excited and dogmatic mind setters. I take Quran to be nothing more than a written historical book as the foremost criteria and no one can deny that. Surely, there are words of wisdom and reflection to be contemplated in the Quran and so are contained in other librettos and medias but the claim that it is absolutely divine, Allah?s words and for all times, is a big question mark and that?s what I am concerned with. I do solemnly believe that there is a ?maker? (GOD) of our creations but that mustn?t stop anyone from questioning and discussing this ?maker? and as well as the Quran.

I was watching CNN or BBC News a while back and there was a report on modern art in Iraq... I saw a suprising amount of nude art, which I thought would never exist in such a country. What does the Quran say about photos or drawings of nude people? Actually, on this topic, what about porn and other erotic images? Sorry, dont want to sound like some horny porn freak guy, just curious roll

Peace to all, Im new to this site and its blowing my mind in a way. I like the idea of worshiping God alone but on the other hand there is so many negitive comments about mainstream Islam that it raises up some suspicions. I cant help but wonder if this is really a site to promote a new path of Islam or to attack the main sects of Islam (sunni/shia)? I suspicion this is a site set up by one of many anti-Islamic groups operating in many places. Another possability is that this new path is desighned to appeal to those who dislike mainstream Islam. Am I wrong? Peace! Nabil......

Salaam Everyone! I was just thinkin of this in my head and needed your input on it; Would you class this as suicide or fighting in the cause for God? I'm sure there's people out there who are terminally ill or need an organ etc. Would giving your life away i.e heart transplant or another organ you cannot live without, class as suicide or fighting in the way of God 'Jihad' hence giving you a place in heaven? Need your input on this scenario. PEACE

I posted an article titled "Which one do you see? HELL or MIRACLE" here but it was immediately moved to Submitters/Code19 forum. That is fine. I should have posted there. But later I noticed that particular forum was listed under OTHER FAITHS/RELIGIONS. That means the administrators of this site are considering the miracle of the Quran or claims about it as OTHER than the Quran or ISLAM! That means that they have closed their minds to one of the greatest signs and miracles, which is desricibed by the Quran as a TEST and as follows "It is one of the greatest," "A warning for people;" "For those of you who wish to progress or regress." (7435-37) Do these verses belong to ANOTHER religion? Peace, Edip Yuksel

Is there anyone interested in "student's" or free-minders exchange? Let me explain... I would like to host a student of the Quran, or his whole family, in my house for a week, two or a month... We could get to know each other closer, to plan future activities, to study together, develop or discuss possible bussiness cooperation, exchange knowledge, or simply to spend some time together .... I am knowledgable in arabic to a degree, so i could help someone learn the basics of arabic....in the same time i could improve my english skill etc. what do you think... i think that this initiative has some sense....inspite of possible pitfalls

Salaams Although I have mentioned the research proposal detailed below in a previous post, I now have a place at the University of Leeds beginning October 2004 and I have begun the reading stage of this research. I am reposting in this section of the forum in order to gain maximum exposure and invite comments from as many sisters and brothers as possible. All thoughts, ideas and suggestions welcome. Allah knows best Wasalaam Yakoub MA Gender Studies (Research) Research Proposal Gender Distribution amongst Progressive Muslim Activists Yunus Yakoub Islam April 2004 (Commencing October 2004) Research Question and Focus ?Critically analyse the gender distribution of progressive Muslims in the UK and USA (and Canada).? ?here can be no progressive interpretation of Islam without gender justice? (Safi, 2004, p.10). This affirmation introduces a collection of essays by a group of Muslim academics and activists from the USA, Canada, South Africa and Malaysia who define themselves as ?progressive Muslims?. This research will attempt to quantify gender distributions amongst selected groups of progressive Muslim activists in the UK, USA and possibly Canada, with the analysis comparing gender to other pertinent social factors, including sexuality, ethnicity, religious identity and family history. The hypothesis is that there is a relationship between gender distribution of progressive Muslims and distributions of ethnicity and progressive Muslim identity in the USA, Canada and the UK; and that these relationships can be understood in terms of the unique migrant histories of the different Muslim women populations. Background I am a British-born suburban male graduate professional. Since 1990, I have also been a Muslim. In the ensuing years, much of my life has been defined by attempts to come to terms with these two facets of my identity. The issues of gender identity and gender justice have been crucial to the ensuing processes of reflection, renegotiation and reconciliation. I have explored these issues through engaging with both Muslim texts and Muslim communities in the UK. Some Muslim texts have offended my deeply felt beliefs about gender Justice. However, the issue of gender justice is fundamental to the progressive Muslim outlook (Safi, 2004), and it is through engaging with progressive Muslim discourse that I have been able to best reconcile my dual identities. However, I have not been able to realise my reconciling identity at the community level, due to problems locating a coherent network of progressive Muslims within the British Muslim community. The muted nature of the progressive Muslim voice in the UK became evident to me during preliminary investigations into a recent progressive Muslim publication by Safi (2004), the product of an extended dialogue between progressive Muslim academics and activists in the USA, Canada, South Africa and Malaysia. As part of these investigations, I approached the authors of the 16 essays included within the aforementioned publication, to inquire whether they were in dialogue with progressive Muslims in the UK. At the time of writing, all responses confess to ignorance of any comparable voices within the UK. In the USA, progressive Muslims are now building networks outside of the mosque, the traditional meeting places of Muslim communities. These ?meet-ups? are not gender segregated, but anecdotal evidence suggests women outnumber men in most meetings. By contrast, preliminary research suggests Britain?s ?progressive? Muslims still practice gender segregation within their ?Bazms?, but these meetings have a longer history and are associated with Tolu-e-Islam, an international organisation founded by the late South Asian Muslim reformer Ghulam Parwez. This research aims to collect data on the gender of Muslims attending ?meet-ups? in North America, and from within the progressive Muslim networks in the UK. However, this data is only the starting point of a much more involved fieldwork approach, which will include attending a progressive Muslim conference in the US, Bazms in the UK, and also participating in online progressive Muslim discussion groups. My hope is to tell the story of these movements from the perspective of a Muslim gender studies practitioner. Research Methods A multidisciplinary approach, drawing on methods from religious/gender studies including surveys and participant observation. Methods will be informed by post-structuralist theories of knowledge, which emphasize investigating the production of knowledge in history and within a shared cultural context (Smith, 199. The use of a website running high-quality forum software, with the aim of facilitating a discursive network of progressive Muslims within the UK. Peace! Just thought i'd get advice on this issue according to the Quran. I thought we'd discuss why people get affected with diseases. My belief before coming to quran alone was that illnesses are the washing away of sins if you like, that idea to me sounds plausible but I dont find it in the Quran so I obviously do not believe it. Why does God give people cancer and then they die with so much agony??Why are babies born with deficiency i.e hole in heart etc. Just something i've been thinking about and need your brothers/sisters help in this matter to understand this matter further. PEACE
