You are right. Nobody with a bit of a scientific background would accept that a few vague, ambiguous words mentioning smoke, talking planets and heavens would be referring to the Big Bang or the model describing it. This is creation based on faith, not science. Really, I have seen or at least can imagine in my mind Atheists making fun of the Muslims who try to deliberately distort verses of quran to MAKE them compatible with Science. I agree with u bro..... THE SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES OF THE QURAN THE SUN?S HYDROGEN AND HELIUM CONTENT The Sun is made up of 70% hydrogen (H) and 28% helium (He) atoms.1 Other substances make up less than 2%. Six hundred million tons of hydrogen are converted into 596 million tons of helium in the Sun every second. The remaining 4 million tons is given off as heat and light energy. In that sense, the first thing that comes to mind when the Sun is mentioned is the letters H (hydrogen) and He (helium) that stand for the Sun. All the 15 verses in Surat ash-Shams of the Qur?an (Shams meaning ?Sun?), end in the letters H and E. The Arabic equivalent of these letters are As can be seen, all the verses in Surat ash-Shams end in the letters He and Elif. The letter H stands for hydrogen and He for helium. No other Surah in the Qur?an ends in the letters HE in every verse from beginning to end. It is therefore extremely striking how only this Surah in the Qur?an ends in such a sequence of letters. Surat ash-Shams?s number, 91, is also highly significant. Apart from hydrogen, there are 91 other elements in the Periodic Table, and these are made up of hydrogen elements. To put it another way, all atoms. From hydrogen, the lightest element, to the heaviest are intra-atomic combinations of hydrogen atoms. The concept of the virgin birth is incompatible with the Qur'aanic representation of biological reproduction "He has created for you pairs from amongst yourselves, and pairs from amongst cattle. (Q. 4913) "Surely He has created the pairs, the male and the female, from the sperm when it is cast." (Q. 5345, 46) Based on this, the concept of biological reproduction is a law established by God himself. And the Qur'aan explicitly states that there are 'no changes' in the laws of God (Q. 3362). This means that nobody is an exception to this rule, and everyone is generated from the combination of a male and a female... Otherwise, we can conclude that the Qur'aan is incorrect in this regard. Further, consider that we are instructed to learn from creation 2164 Surely, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the differences between the night and the day, and the ships that sail in the sea for the benefit of the people, and what GOD has sent down of water from the sky so He brings the earth back to life after it had died, and He sent forth from it every creature, and the dispatching of the winds and the clouds that have been designated between the earth and the sky are signs for a people who comprehend. What is observable in the universe should not be ignored. In observing the universe, one can also observe laws established by ALLAH. Parthenogenesis, hermaphroditism (whether human or oyster or other), homosexuality in ALL known species of animals, asexual reproduction, infertility (for some), and so forth are facts and not issues of faith. In 4913, who is addressed--oysters or people? hmm "O people!..." It may be that humans can only reproduce from pairs--it wouldn't be shocking. However, the rest of creation is not addressed here. w/salaam bender, Can you please mark for me the first word were you think the story of Adam begins I have not researched it but even if I did I think it would be unlikely I could say with any certainty from what word the story of adam/mankind begins. A reasonable guide is from the verse in which adam is first mentioned (if the verse or following verses discuss the story of course). Just to be clear, is per your understanding Adam of 711 different from Adam of 1958 and/or 333? My understanding only relates to the story of adam, not necessarily to any mention of adam, and/or terms associated with adam or others, i.e. when adam's story is being told. Just for clarification, do you think the story of Adam is only parable OR it happened for real and it can be also seen as a parable? I think it may have happened, but not literally in the way it is told. The way in which it is told reads to me like a parable, so to me, the message/concepts/lessons/etc is what is most important, not taking it literally.

Do the disbelievers ( and those who do not acknowledge or value the creator) not realise that the heavens and the earth used to be one solid mass that We exploded into existence ( Big Bang Theory!), and from water we made all living things? Would they believe?.? 1516 We placed Galaxies ( billions of them!) in the sky and adorned it for the beholder.? ( With or without telescope!) 1519 As for the earth, We constructed it and placed on it mountains and We grew on it a perfect balance of everything. ( for all the creatures who inhabit it.) 1520 We made it habitable for you and for creatures you do not provide for.? 1522 And We send the winds as pollinators and cause the water to come down from the clouds for you ( and animals) to drink. Otherwise you could not keep it palatable.( If it was not recycled, It will go stale!) There is nothing that We do not own infinite amount of, but We send it down in precise measure.? I have heard of this and it's funny, considering I have been diagnosed with minor asperger's. I think it makes sense though since people with autism tend to examine everything much more closely than most other people and such. Also, they have a harder time connecting to people so perhaps the same holds true for God as well, especially considering God isn't really personable?
