salam layth and jkhan thank you very much for your replies i dont think the surah is about a future event but rather a past even before mohamad pbuh time ... i might be wrong of course but i truly dont believe it is a future event i understand that in the Quran The God says that the people of mohamad pbuh walk morning and evening through lot pbuh town ... so with the surah He perhaps is reminding them by telling them about lot pbuh town and giving the world a clue to which town it was (they domesticated elephants perhaps?) i also dont think there is anything about missils or nuclear stuff in the Quran and i also think the usa and the other countires today have definately no place in the Quran in the sense there are no references to them as countries today in the Quran ... and i think definately not “elephant = republican” ... that is my opinion indeed jkhan i am just speculating from what i understand ... and my understanding could definitely be wrong ... but i feel like the surah is definately about them ... again, of course i might be wrong i also do not think it is a future event my idea so far is that the citu maybe is qatna? apparently they used to have elephants in their palace and it was in a famous trade route i understood... and it was detsroyed and buried underground i think (i read destroyed by war but i dont believe everything that science says) ... there were what is called elephants of orontes ... along the orontes river (where qatna was) of course it is just a speculation please guys let me know what you think thank you peace

A recurring pattern appears throughout the history, again and again and again. Yes. And somehow there was always a beginning and some civilizations and cultures claim to know how it all began and how it will end. Why do we even have this linear thought process till this day? Why assume that there was a beginning or that there will be an end at all? Certainly we can say that there are changes, new paradigms and rises and downfalls of civilizations. Life is eternal - death is an illusion. We experience it on different levels of its manifestation.

The problem with both Y-DNA and mtDNA tests is that they do not take into consideration of say your great great great grandmother on your father's side or great great great grandfather on your mother's side so these DNA lineages don't really say much in the end. It doesnt, that's true. But right here we're talking about population profiles, not individual ones. In this case, uniparental lines can give you a good picture of the overall ancestry of the population. Arabian populations that were not affected by the recent islamic slave trade have very few sub-saharan lines among them. Highland Yemenis for instance have almost none, whereas nearby Hadramis unsurprisingly have loads of them. Or if you want to close the case, just look at the autosomal (complete ancestral) profile. It would yield the same results. These idiots are claiming that Arabians are black, what a load of bullcrap seriously. Even east african hamites can hardly be considered black lol, let alone ancetral Arabians.

Quote from www.quaro.com "There is a controversy among exegetes of the Holy Qur'an with respect to the prophethood of Khidr (a). Al-Fakhr al-Razi rejected six arguments presented by exegetes of the Holy Qur'an for the prophethood of Khidr. Al-Shaykh al-Tusi cited Abu 'Ali al-Juba'i and Rummani (d. 384/994) as saying that Khidr (a) was a prophet, and attributed the rejection of this view to Ibn Akhshid (d. 326/937). But he himself made no comments on this issue. According to al-Tha'labi, Khidr (a) is a prophet with a long life who is hidden from people. And according to Baghawi, God gave knowledge of the interior to Khidr through inspiration, and most scholars believe that he is not a prophet."

Mainstream history is made of convenient lies mixed with some truth whereby it is hard to make truth out of the whole. We must be grateful for the grains of truth we gate and beome enlightene by them. This oen is one of those truths. Hopefully it will be acknowledged and recognized for our own good. Salaam

I have read the book. Pazuzu's book "Search for Pharaoh" also mentions the work of Ashraf ?Izzat. https//ashraf62.wordpress.com/ancient-egypt-knew-no-pharaohs/ Just wondering if there is any archaeological expedition being undertaken to prove the real geography of biblical history.

Peace, When believers talk about Allah scientist say "we want proof" but when they speak of evolution and aliens the hypocrites provide none! brickwall That's because the media, politicians and so-called scientists are the world's biggest clergy. People don't want to be "dumb science-deniers." Meanwhile, all we get from NASA is CGI photoshop (they admit this) and the Theory of Evolution is still missing the most important proofs the missing link between supposed pre-humans and humans. Besides that, they faked a bunch of their evidence anyway - so either way it is bogus. But the sheep watching TV believe everything that comes from it as long as an "authoritative" figure speaks. It seems people that follow so-called "Quran alone Islam" forget one of their favorite verses when it comes to so-called science 1736 Do not reach conclusions about that which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the mind will be responsible.

Yeah, I was talking about Emirates. You are from Iraq? So which parts of middle east have least amount of heat? @GL That was funny ;D No, but I've been there. The least hot countries are Levant countries, places along the ocean such as Syria, Lebanon, Palestine

There is no similarity between the life of 3isa and the life of Jesus. Jesus was born to a lady married to a carpenter Joseph with no problem whatsoever because of her condition. 3isa was born to a single, unmarried woman, who was accosted and harassed because of her bringing a child out of wedlock. 3isa is always menntionned as son of Maryam in the Qur'an, in the Gospels Jesus is never mentionned as son of Mary. Jesus was crucified, 3isa was not and ied and lived highly regarded. Where are the similarities of the man nmed in the Qur'ann as 3isa and the man named in the Gospels as Jesus? Thsi confusion is a tragedy for muslims, because, while Jesus and the gospels uphold their own true values, the values of 3sa and the Qur'an are distorted to fit the Christian doctrine. They are two different persons and represent two different teachings, not contradictory, but different. By following this confusion, muslims do the same as when they pick the ahadith and mix it up with the Qur'an, they distort the Qur'an and make valueless or less valuable. Better let each thing to be what it is and not confuse it or distort it. Salaam

An English translation of the Gospel - Matthew 2414 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. I think the word injeel used means elaboration, so it is to be preached to the end of days. Jesus elaborated on the Mosaic model of Ten Directives. Good news does not add up for me as a translation. Furthermore, the English word angel (a'najel) is likely from the same root through Greek from Semitic languages. Another interesting lexical definition is "become bold/thicker" implying some kind of growth like someone who has become complete or more complete. So "good news" sounds just retarded, in my opinion. Jesus purpose was to make "God's" realm clearer and if one does that they elaborate and it is the likely meaning of his message called Enjeel. Jesus did elaborate, but he did not Quraa (manifest) it like black and white such like Quran does, in my opinion. Be well Amenuel

Salam/Peace, I have been re-reading the topic of "Gog & Magog" which occurs in Sura 1893-99 & 2196 and have come to a different conclusion than previously held (my previous conclusion was that Gog & Magog are either two rivers of water or lava which were causing havoc to a specific people. My current understanding is that God & Magog are the nuclear reactions of fission & fusion, which I hope to explain by running through the verses of the story of Zul Qarnain 1892 Then he followed the means. 1893 Until he reached an area that was between the two barriers, he found within it a people who could barely understand anything said. The first interaction Zul Qarnain has with Gog & Magog is when he comes across a people who have barricaded themselves within two walls. The description the Quran gives us is that these people "could barely understand anything said" (1892). At first glance this suggests that there is a language problem, however, these people are able to communicate with Zul Qarnain and speak of engineering matters (1894), which implies that they have an actual defect that was noticeable to Zul Qarnain that affected their brain functions. 1894 They said "O Two Horned One, Gog and Magog are corrupters of the land, so shall we make a tribute for you that you will make between us and them a barrier?" 1895 He said "What my Lord has given me is far better. So help me with strength and I will make between you and them a landfill." The communication with these people indicates that they are having a problem with "yajooj & majooj" which are causing "decay/fasad". They do not ask Zul Qarnain to kill them (assuming they were people) which is a possibility as Zul Qarnain has an army at his disposal and did not hesitate to kill people who were doing wrong 1886-87, however they ask for him to build them another "wall". The answer of Zul Qarnain is interesting in that he refuses their suggestion to build a "wall" and tells them what they need is a "landfill/radma". 1896 "Bring me dense metal," until he leveled between the two sides. He said "Blow," until he made it into fire. He said "Bring me tar so I can pour it over." The landfill is made using "zubr alhadeed" which is "hard/dense metal" and is then covered with tar. Now, unless Gog & Magog were all gathered and put into a pit, this is clearly not talking about people... 1897 So they could not penetrate it, and they could not advance in it. 1898 He said "This is a mercy from my Lord. But when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it rubble. And the promise of my Lord is truth." 1899 And We left them until that day to surge like waves on one another. And the horn was blown, so We gathered them together. Gog & Magog were contained using a dense metal and structure that stopped them penetrating and reaching out. A seal that will remain until the promised time when they will be unleashed again. They particles/molecules continue to react with one another which indicates a shelf life of thousands of years... In conclusion A nuclear reactor/core was exposed, causing deformations and radiation sickness to the surrounding people who were also engineers. The people did not know how to contain the radiation until Zul Qarnain came along and buried the nuclear material using lead lining. However, the secret of nuclear power will return as part of God's prophecy that God & Magog emerge again. 2196 Until Gog and Magog is opened, and from every angle they will come forth. There is also a link that the Jews will be behind this emergence of the nuclear reaction as Sura 174 predicts they will cause "fasad/decay" twice on earth (fasad is the same word used for Gog & Magog) Food for thought... Gog and Magog are also mentioned in the previous Scriptures from God. I highly recommend you to start reading in the Bible. An English translation of Ezekiel 382 ?Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him An English translation of Revelation 208 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth?Gog and Magog?and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

Found this book(The Historical Geography of Arabia) which locates Ophir in Oman https//books.google.com.au/books?id=k2IsGkCgLgwC&pg=PA165&lpg=PA165&dq=ophir+oman&source=bl&ots=Ta_QItApMk&sig=j95pm2unM_A48m8I1kLnQ3JnzS4&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiOtLONs57NAhWEUZQKHfd8AnYQ6AEIQzAH#v=onepage&q=ophir%20oman&f=false Ophir. ? The connection indicated, in the passage just cited, between Sheba and Ophir, naturally suggests the inference, at the outset, that they were neighbouring countries an in ference materially strengthened by the con sideration, that the name of Ophir stands next, also, to that of Sheba, in the Mosaic catalogue of the sons of Joktan. And since, accord ing to all ancient authorities, the kingdom of the Joktanite Sabeans appears to have extended across the south of the Arabian peninsula, from the Straits of Bab-el-Mandeb to the mountains of Oman, Ophir, which the naval expedition of Solomon argues to have lain beyond, or east ward, of Sheba, and in the vicinity of the sea, antecedently of proof might be sought, with every verisimilitude, in the direction of the coast of Oman a quarter of Arabia, we have elsewhere seen, inhabited largely by other Joktanite tribes. The contradictory opinions of the learned, who alternately transport the Ophir of the Old Testa ment to Africa, or to India, to the coast of Sofala, or the island of Ceylon , rest wholly on the plea in which they altogether originated, that the name and dwelling-place of Ophir are no where to be found, among the settlements of his brethren in Arabia.Consequently, if we recover, in an appropriate part of the peninsula, not only the name and seat of this patriarch, but his name and seat in unquestionable connection with an old and famous Arabian mart of gold, specious learned theories must at once give way, before conclusive historical facts. With this view, the attention of the reader is invited to the following plain, though hitherto unnoticed facts ; the result of the writer's researches upon a question of sacred geography so interesting in itself, and which has so long divided the learned world. The intrinsic value of these facts, together with their force as an argument, may be best brought out by a simple statement of the process of investigation. Satisfied, by the whole analogy of the case, that Ophir had settled among his brethren in Southern Arabia, and sanctioned, by the Scripture narrative of the Queen of Sheba, in the opinion that his settlements lay somewhere to the east of that famous kingdom, it caused me no surprise to find the scepticism of preceding writers, as to the existence of the name in Arabia*, confuted on my first reference to authorities in every body's hands, the maps of Sale and d'Anville ; where, as indeed in all our modern maps, " Ofor or Ofir" appears, as the name of a city and district in the mountains of Oman, seated on their eastern side, near the sources of the Oman river, and within about a degree, or a degree and a quarter, of the coast. On reference to Ptolemy, it further came to light, that the mountain district in question was, in his time, inhabited by the Kottabani, or Beni Kahtan or Joktanf ; a tribe expressly contradistin-guished, by this geographer, from their neigh bours of the same stock, the Jerachaei, or Beni Jerah, and the Darrae, or Beni Hadoram, . . . the former adjoining the Kottabani on the north, the latter extending southward of them to his Corodamum promontorium, or Ras al Had ; and whom the existing name of their town and district seems very plainly to designate as the descendants of the Joktanite Ophir. But the probable con clusion formed on these grounds, was most un expectedly advanced towards certainty by the subsequent discovery, that the adjoining coast of Oman, lying due east under Ofir, was still cele brated, in the time of the elder Pliny, for its traffic in native gold. When laying down the ancient geography of Oman, after the minutely accurate delineations of this great naturalist, my attention was arrested by the mention of a gold coast, . . . littus Hammceum ubi auri metalla. On reference to my MS. map, it appeared, that its previous adjust ments of Pliny's localities very exactly concurred with the obvious agreement of the two names, to identify his littus Hammceum with the town and coast of Maham, lying between the Oman and Thamar rivers, opposite to the isles of Sohar, and due east of Ofir. This identification was noted down, accordingly, in the classical map; whichwas actually in the hands of the engraver, before a passage of Niebuhr fell under my observation, containing demonstrative proof, arising from the physical character of this iron-bound coast, that the littus Hammaeum of Pliny can be no other than the strand or shore of Maham ; the entire coast of Om&n, from Cape Mussendom to Cape Ras al Had, being mountainous to the water's edge, with the exception of one day's journey, between the towns of Sib and Sohar, at the mouths of the two rivers discharging themselves near these towns * ; in other words, with the ex ception of the strand, in the centre of which is seated the town of Maham, and which is thus physically, as well as etymologically, proved to be the littus Hammaeum ubi auri metalla . Before we take leave of the settlements of Ophir, it may be well, on a question so long at issue, briefly to resume the chief points of the proof through which we have just passed. 1. The recovery of the name of Ophir, as that of a town and district of Southern Arabia, in the midst of other Joktanite settlements, is a strong pre sumption in favour of the inference, that the dis trict so named had been peopled by that patriarch. 2. This natural inference is corroborated by the testimony of Ptolemy, who places the Kottabani, or Beni Joktan, in the mountains of Ophir. 3. The position of this mountain district, beyond the kingdom of Sabea, in the direction of the eastern coast, tallies most accurately, with the scriptural accounts of the expedition planned by Solomon, and with the manner in which the sacred recorders of that expedition connect Ophir with Sheba. 4. A mountain district, communi cating, as the modern Ofir does, by a river with the sea, presents the character of country most favourable to the production of gold. 5. Theactual existence of gold, in this neighbourhood, as a staple article of traffic, so late as the com mencement of the Christian era, is proved beyond controversy by the unexceptionable testimony of Pliny. From these collective premises may unpresumptuously be drawn the conclusions, 1. that the Ofor of Sale and d'Anville, a town and dis trict in the mountains of Oman west of the coast of Maham, is the Ophir of the Old Testament 2. that the littus Hammaeum ubi auri metalla, or Gold Coast mentioned by Pliny, was the true term of the famous voyage, in the reign of So lomon, from Ezion-geber, or Akaba, at the head of the gulf of Elah 3. and, lastly, that this Ophir or Ofor, the country of the Kottabani of Ptolemy, one of the many tribes known generically in Arabia by the denomination of Beni Kahtan or Kahtanys, was the primitive and proper seat of the family of Ophir, the son of Joktan, which, like so many other districts denominated from the brethren of this patriarch, still preserves, at the presentday, the name and memory of their father.
