Salam, http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9606373.0 http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607488.0 Peace Hizbullah, Your hypothesis that the messenger of the Qur'an might be actually prophet Mani is interesting but lacks evidence. Plus from what I read about Mani, his life is in disagreement with the Qur'an. Mani was totally peaceful, never made war to anyone, and died in martyrdom. The messenger of the Qur'an certainly made war according to Qur'an (surahs 8 & 9) and was victorious, see AQ 4812. Also Mani considered himself as successor of Jesus, Jesus of the Christian Gospels, and knew the Gospels rather well. On the other hand, Issa ben Mariam in Qur'an, as nephew of Moses, bears little resemblance to Jesus. If Mani had written Qur'an, he would never have depicted Jesus as Issa like in Qur'an. So either life of Mani differed considerably from what has been reported, or the Qur'an by Mani was substantially altered. But there is no evidence for either hypothesis. Its not a hypothesis, I have carried out research for more than 10 years. Quranic evidences and Historical evidences proves it. Also please read below... Peace rlz All you wrote are nothing but conjectures of untruth against the Prophet. How can it be when the Prophet Mani harshly criticized the various religious communities of his time for, in his view, imperfectly preserving and thus distorting the revelations delivered by their founders. There are clear similarities between Prophet Mani and Quranic Muhammad, Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, claimed that his Prophethood was revealed to him by an angel which he met twice. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, claimed to be the successor and a sequence of Prophets including Noah, Abraham, Musa, and Esa. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, claimed to be the Seal of the Prophet. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, claimed that he was given 7 copies and the Original. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, not an Arab. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, migrated to another land as he was not accepted by the people. Prophet Mani like, Quranic Muhammad, his teaching was spread by preaching Monotheism. Quranic evidence proves that the Quran was sent down between the 3rd and 4th Century CE. And there is no doubt that the prophet Mani was the recipient of the Quran - he had to be for the religion to flourish for so long. It lasted for over one thousand years in one form or another. Only fragments of the Book with regards to so called "Manichean" have remain, while his followers in Europe were killed and persecuted for centuries. Why? Peace Ultimately, you make your decision to believe in the history of Quranic Islam or the history sectarian cult ....

Bible archaeologist claims to have discovered Sodom Tall el-Hammam (Jordan) - After ten years excavation in Tall el-Hammam Jordan to American Bible archaeologists show convinced to have an unusually massive and large Bronze Age city found the biblical Sodom. The city-state had found the southern Jordan Valley dominates, but then was - was suddenly abandoned for about 700 years old - from a hitherto mysterious reason. As an explanation archaeologist claims to have found evidence of even a huge explosion of an object in the sky above the city. http//www.grenzwissenschaft-aktuell.de/bibel-archaeologe-will-sodom-entdeckt-haben20150115/

Salam, The South Arabian alphabet was used primarily in the Southern edge of the Arabian Peninsula. The South Arabian alphabet proper appears around 500 BCE, and continued to be used until around 500 CE, at which time, of course, the entire Arabian Peninsula has converted to Islam and Arabized. Arabic was invented at this point of time and became the most important language. Its morphology and phonetics derived from Manichean, a language which is the prestige tongue of the Last Prophet of ALLAH, where the Original Quran was written with. 6 consonants that belongs to the Manichean script was borrowed and indoctrinated into arabic Ethiopic is an offshoot of the South Arabian script, as shown by similarities in the forms of the letters, and in the order of the letters. This script was transported across the Red Sea to Ethiopia, where it transformed into classical Ethiopic (Ge'ez) and modern-day Amharic. This was around the 4th century CE, the era where the Jews of Arabia migrated to Ethiopia. The original morphology and phonetics of South Arabian is exactly what we hear out of the present Ethiopic. In fact, the earliest inscriptions in Ethiopia were in the South Arabian script. Thereafter, a new feature was developed that distinguished it from South Arabian. Vowels were "written" by adding strokes to the consonant following somewhat regular patterns, but it is equally likely that the system was developed in situ especially since many other Semitic scripts were already experimenting with marking vowels. Another feature that distinguishes Ethiopic from other Proto-Sinaitic-derived scripts is that it is written from left to right rather than right to left as in Arabic. Ethiopic originally followed the right-to-left convention of Semitic scripts, but it switched to a left-to-right direction under influence from Greco-Roman.

Thank you for responding, FreedomStands... I see that too... but as a whole it seems quite confusing. Like why are "Moses and Aaron" mentioned together but not "Abraham and Lot"? I believe/know there is purpose/reason to the sequel... but what is it PS thank you for the invite, I just checked the post shortly... I am not comfortable with confrontation though... let me read the posts first ) Abraham was mentioned just prior with "gave him Isaac and Jacob" so mentioning him again there might be weird, plus he didn't seem to be in the closest relations or contact with Lot as compared to Musa and Harun who were running around together at some points. I think it is good to ponder, but also to be aware that many people have become absorbed in the pursuit of trying to figure out some sense or "system" to it or "its true meaning" and it leads them to becoming deceived and confused like many on this website. If we take it as a factual statement, its just "Allah willed to write it that way, and can make up any reason for doing so or have no reason for doing so except that Allah does whatsoever Allah wills".

The Babylonian Chronicle records "In the seventh month (of Nebuchadnezzar-599 BC.) in the month Chislev (Nov/Dec) the king of Babylon assembled his army, and after he had invaded the land of Hatti (Syria/Palestine) he laid seige to the city of Judah. On the second day of the month of Adara ( 16th of March) he conquered the city and took the king (Jehoiachin) prisoner. He installed in his place a king (Zedekiah) of his own choice, and after he had received rich tribute, he sent (them) forth to Babylon." Jehoiakin Inscription This is one of the clay tablets that reveal the presence of the Judean royal house as prisoners in Babylon. They were excavated from an arched building near the Ishtar Gate of ancient Babylon. The cuneiform texts, which are dated between 595 and 570 B.C., contain lists of rations of barley and oil issued to the captive princes and artisans, including "Yaukin, king of the land of Yahud." This is a direct reference to Jehoiachin, and some of the other tablets also mentioned his 5 sons who accompanied him to Babylon. (Staatliche Museum, Berlin). Gedaliah Seal This seal was found at Lachish and bears the inscription "Gedaliah, who is over the house." Gedaliah was the name of the man who the Babylonians had appointed as governor of Judah after the destruction of Jerusalem. Not in Palestine you say? Peace

It was the Arab Muslims that had trade deals with the Vikings and not all Muslims. The Arab Muslims wanted to seek out new trading routes so they sent several traders to Europe especially to northern-Europe. It's not suprising that there are Arab artifacts in Scandinavia as the Arabs and Vikings were trading a lot. Beside slaves they were trading artifacts and jewelry too. In the Arab world there are probaly as much artifacts and jewelry that orginated from Scandinavia. http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmad_ibn_Fadlan - The Arab Muslim that visited the Vikings in Scandinavia to establish trading routes.

Peace Arman. In the "Aya" you quoted ,is GOD testing/commanding... Pharoah to slaughter the children of Israel? Of course not. Pharoah himself is choosing to do the evil. " GOD does not " Yamuru Bilfahshaaa"? GOD is saying this life is a test to Beni Israeel!!! Life is a test for all Humans." We all be tested through our wealth/children...." A completely different aspect. We choose to do GOOD/EVIL. That is the test. GOD in all His scriptures is only asking/commanding us to do GOOD! You will never find GOD asking /commanding us to do Evil, except in the cause of justice. We need to reflect, before we say anything about GOD? In case we end up saying ,about HIM,things that are not true. But of course we can always repent and correct ,if we are not deliberate. GOD bless you. Peace.

Salamon Alaikom, As my first post, I just wanted to share with you the result of my search for the possible barrier of Gog and Magog. My criteria, coming from Ayat of the grand Quran Karim, were the following assumptions 1- The route (and the passage) should be very strategic. 2- The area should be extremely mountainous. 3- The passage should be impassible by construction of a simple medium size barrier, considering the technology of ancient times. 4- I have to be able to provide evidence at least regarding the remnants of the old structure. 5- Finally, it should not disregard the area of concern of which Bible has mentioned, due to cross-referencing of the word in Quran karim and Bible i've located several barriers which fit, and still exist... none of which are referenced by the classical commentators. The study of Surah al Kahf, ayahs 83-99 has been a long one for me (7 years at least) and so, I will present just one barrier location which fits with your criteria above (there are many that fit but I am saving these for my video series) As for your claim of the darial gorge pass - the caucuses have 4 passes running through them, and at no point in history were all 4 blocked at any one time together - further, tribes from the north would often reach the southern lands via boat, avoiding the caucuses altogether, so by that standard, your citing of the darial gorge fails to satisfy your own criteria. Now, for the location I promised http//oi61.tinypic.com/121ud8h.jpg http//oi57.tinypic.com/2rqf33b.jpg http//oi58.tinypic.com/2mgk40m.jpg http//oi60.tinypic.com/15yyo0p.jpg http//oi60.tinypic.com/fji3wk.jpg http//oi61.tinypic.com/b6uh4k.jpg http//oi61.tinypic.com/2ut6v4p.jpg http//oi59.tinypic.com/2n88m0z.jpg I find it ultimately interesting that the length/height of the barrier from its clearly defined left side matches almost perfectly to the measurement from the seemingly highest to lowest point... what is further of interest to me is the fact that the foot of the barrier is narrower than the top of it, as this also attests to the idea of the barrier being built between two cliffs opened at the top like sea shells (As Saddafain) Scimi

I am sure, 100% (I know this is a hell of a assertion, LOL), that there is a demonstrable correlation between the IQ level of a group, and its stance towards religion. I seriously doubt that. I have seen brilliant people on both side of the fence. What counts though is emotions. If we are entrained towards something, then we tend to support and promote it, regardless of IQ. But of course, low IQ, and being uneducated, may perhaps make you more gullible and less critical in your thinking, or so I think at least. Peace

Salam all, Iwant to bring this old thread into the view,I don't know who dhul qarnain is but i don't think it is cyrus because all Storys in the scripture are about semitic People for a semitic audience,no Story about Hercules or Shaka Zulu. So i tend to belive that dhul carnain is another title for a Person already mention in the Scripture. And one of the traveler coming into consideration is Salomo, which the scrpture is telling us to have control over the "wind" with which he travels a one Month Journay in one day. And it is not by accident that places far away from the Levante are called after him. There is a Mountain called "djebel Sulaiman" near the Himalaya ,why would People call places after someone?Only if someone did a great Thing which People drive them to express their admiration for him. "1894 They said "O Two Horned One, Gog and Magog are destroyers of the land, so shall we make a tribute for you that you will make between us and them a barrier?" " So one hint how to search who dhul qarnain is by looking for honored People by foreign countries like alexander the great and others

The real-estate God is popular amongst zionnist Christians and certain other Christians who believe in things like chosen people and other wonders. It is shocking that a "return" based on religion may have been promoted by the imperials who on the other hand pretend to be modern and evolved and what not. -saytanic hypocrites is what they are who do not hesitate in using religion and any other appliance to further their power-thirsty aims. But people who have undergone their calvaries on earth, in sha Allah will shine in the net life. Salaam

Thank you for this post... This is most interesting and a topic i have been confused over since quranic evidence doesnt lead to Mecca at all. However not finding much luck with history etc...and i still havent discovered where. I had my doubts all along and this has confirmed it. I read chapter 302 and I am convinced now that this is infact the truth. Why would God talk about the Romans if they were not directly impacting the prophet? One thing that does spring to ming though that perhaps someone can shed some light? Why then is there such elaborate historical accounts of the prophet being in Mecca and also from non mulsim sources about the trade that took place and how meccan pottery was very distinct. There is a whole documentary on this by Joanna Lumley a british TV artist who has decided do a series of documentaries. I will try and find the link. She did one on search for noah's ark which is also quite interesting as it talks about the type of ships used and how they had never seen the type of boat noah built as this was the first of its kind (god helped him with design of course). Search for Noah's Ark - http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZTIrn5rKpU Please can you post all related study you have done on the topic of where the prophet actually was? I am bvery interested and would really appreciate it. Thanks and Peace. Affy I don't think Muhammad necessarily was in Jerusalem, in fact Muslims won over Jerusalem under the caliphate of Umar bin Khattab. If you read more of Sebeos, he also writes about Umar When the sons of Ishmael had arisen and issued from the desert of Sinai, their king Amrh 'Umar] did not accompany them. But when had militarily routed both kingdoms, seizing from Egypt to the great Taurus mountain, from the Western Sea to Media and Xuzhastan, they then emerged with the royal army to the natural borders of the holdings of Ishmael. Then the king gave an order to assemble boats and many sailors and to navigate southwardly, going east to Pars, to Sagastan, to Sind, to Srman, to the land of Turan and to Makuran as far as the borders of India. The troops swiftly prepared and implemented the command. They burned every country, taking loot and booty. They then turned and made expeditions on the waves of the sea, and reached their own places. Muhammad did write a letter to Heraclius, where he did ask Heraclius to leave Jerusalem or convert to Islam, but he denied. Sobeos writes about it Twelve peoples all the tribes of the Jews assembled at the city of Edessa. When they saw that the Iranian troops had departed and left the city in peace, they closed the gates and fortified themselves. They refused entry to troops of the Roman lordship. Thus Heraclius, emperor of the Byzantines, gave the order to besiege it. When realized that they could not militarily resist him, they promised to make peace. Opening the city gates, they went before him, and ordered that they should go and stay in their own place. So they departed, taking the road through the desert to Tachkastan to the sons of Ishmael. called to their aid and familiarized them with the relationship they had through the books of the Testament. Although were convinced of their close relationship, they were unable to get a consensus from their multitude, for they were divided from each other by religion. In that period a certain one of them, a man of the sons of Ishmael named Muhammad, a merchant, became prominent. A sermon about the Way of Truth, supposedly at God's command, was revealed to them, and taught them to recognize the God of Abraham, especially since he was informed and knowledgeable about Mosaic history. Because the command had come from On High, he ordered them all to assemble together and to unite in faith. Abandoning the reverence of vain things, they turned toward the living God, who had appeared to their father, Abraham. Muhammad legislated that they were not to eat carrion, not to drink wine, not to speak falsehoods, and not to commit adultery. He said "God promised that country to Abraham and to his son after him, for eternity. And what had been promised was fulfilled during that time when loved Israel. Now, however, you are the sons of Abraham, and God shall fulfill the promise made to Abraham and his son on you. Only love the God of Abraham, and go and take the country which God gave to your father, Abraham. No one can successfully resist you in war, since God is with you." It was during when Muhammad was alive, but Arabs were not strong enough to attack Heraclius at his that time, so Muhammad didn't attack. Soon after Muhammad died, and also Abu Bakr died after the brief caliphate of 2 years, Umar took the caliphate and expanded his empire. Now, just because Sebeos talks about Muhammad, doesn't mean he saw Muhammad or Muhammad went to Jerusalem, it only means that the message of Muhammad did spread to Jerusalem and that was through the letter sent to Heraclius. The letters are shown http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad's_letters_to_the_Heads-of-State, albeit Wikipedia claims the letters are purported.

Salam I am sorry to bring this old thread up... Perhaps it has already been updated in other newer threads, but I feel compelled to think out loud (by typing, lol with no proof whatsoever) could it be that Quran indeed was sent down in one shot and our prophet did not understand the meaning and circumstances of the surah and ayats, til the events happened. Like God has no concept of time, He is the Author of Quran, Author of our lives, and just like any author and their books, He knows past present and future, as oppose to us the 'audience/reader'. So perhaps our prophet accepted that some verses are not yet understood til the actual event coresponding to the verses happened? Yes, I think so. I have the same opinion as you. Peace

I was wondering the same since the earth could have not triggered for the end of this galaxy. . . secondly, the population of mankind would have not filled the Hell otherwise we can imagine that Hell is quite small, maybe as equal to Africa etc. . On the Day We will say to Hell, "Have you been filled?" and it will say, "Are there some more," 5030 Thirdly. . angels mentioned about previous successors on "surface" of land ? on other planets ? And when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth (surface? ground?) a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know." 2.30 Well this one is more appropriate for the context and proven to be true. "Surely there did pass over human a stretch of time when he was a thing not mentioned and remembered." The Human (Al-Insan) 1 IF the age of this universe at the moment is liken to 1 year of earth time. Then human existence is merely 57 minutes before new year eve. Thus for 364 days, 23 hours and 3 minutes, there was no human. Will they last 3 more minutes to become an hour? (which translated to roughly another 10,000 years of earth time) Or they met their ill fate of extinction, either by their own idiocy (massive war among themselves) or by 'hands of nature' (disasters, meteorites etc..) before that time. Salam / Peace
