As far as I know it is not in the Quran. For a long time now -about a year. LOL! I guess not that long I have been working on something. Let's just say I receive these gut feelings about truths - GOD, Holy Spirit help me. I am patiently waiting for the answer. It is not a question of my faith. I am secure in mine. I worry about others. As research I have been reading and discussing the initial letters and diacritical points. I was told that the translation was - The Messiah the sustainer. I wanted to make sure that the translation really true. Thank you for the link. What do you think of the info on that page? Where is the verse - ALM Sabbeh Raboka Al Azzaam? Thanks.

I believe GOD wanted us to be vegetarian. It just occured to me, maybe killing an animal for food was the original sin, taking life. Genesis 1 29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground?everything that has the breath of life in it?I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

. What is allowed in Quran is exchange of views in clear words and no debates; what is expected of you is to choose the best thereof. " Who hear the words and follow the best thereof. Such are those whom Allah guides, and such are men of understanding."

. "Unbroken sweetness of conduct in the face of all outward antagonism is the infallible indication of a self-conquered soul, the witness of wisdom, and the proof of the possession of Truth." . Very sweet, truthful indeed

It's insulting and mocking Al Quran without proofs and thus should be removed without warning IMHO. I know this is "free-minds", but is it also free to mock and insult Al Quran? Even with free speech in America, you can't run into a crowded theater and yell "FIRE!" . Why do not the free-minds feel obliged to answer and teach firmly Genteel, while Quran is at hand... This is your chance to deal with ignorant and arrogant ... if we have the leave from Allah then go ahead ... do we have fear-minds, yet?

coptics huh? great! I wonder how much of the western world knows about what christians are doing to defame muslims. I'm not saying muslims are all good, but they are not so stealthy, so refined in spreading propaganda. Muslims are picking on eachother more than on other religions it seems. In Pakistan... you will hear christians witness themselves about eastern european padres/fathers/whatever with huge beards that come to the christians (who are usually poor (not because of muslims but because of british history)) and offer(bribe) them material things like a refridgerator if they just take part in tv interviews/documentaries, saying all sorts of negative things against the muslim majority, e.g. how they are mistreated etc etc etc. These "reality reports" then go to Europe and no wonder why the hatred flourishes. Disgusting. ( yuck I was shocked how systematic it is... people are actually coming from abroad, regularly, into pakistan, to brainwash and use simple people for their own hateful and bitter agendas. This is really sad and sickening. I didn't even open the links above in this thread, it's just so depressing. Human beings With greatest potential, but ended up as the lowliest of creatures. I had a christian lady working in my house.... she explained how they (the christian community in her neighbourhood) are advised/warned not to accept any gifts/help etc from muslims, because muslims are bad and evil. She said that muslims and christians usually have no problems with eachother. The live side by side, share things, help eachother... but then these foreign f*****g bearded s.c. christian fathers come to instill hatred among them. Also understand that people of the poor classes, regardless of creed, have great difficulties in telling what's fact and what is fiction - education is afterall luxury in some parts of society, so it's not so easy to be alert and to think critically when you don't know how to. These poor people are exploited by evil people with dark agendas.... it's horrible.... so sad.

Fatiha is the Introduction. It's like the abstract of the qur'aan, containing the main points that are further detailed throughout the Book.

It is just as well that Starjade did get banned after all we as Muslims were powerless against his Revelations. He did outright show exactly where those errors exist in the Koran and he also had many more he could have shown. This matter of Jesus is a problem that no Muslim can give answers for. I have been checking on those errors in the Koran and they do exist just as Starjade says; But we as Muslims can ignore those errors after all reading the Koran makes us feel good anyway. Starjade put all Muslims on this forum on the spot and now he is still at it on other forums. Out of control. So he had to be banned when no Muslim could respond to those errors he has found in the Koran. Starjade himself did say in his writing that he knew the moderators would ban him because they had no choice but to shirk the challenge to which they were powerless to reply. Starjade has won that Sura 482 challenge but we are Muslim and so we can ignore those errors if we want to. Otherwise some other muslim may come along and kill you for deserting Islam no matter what Islamic law says. RIGHT... yeah So why haven't you been IP banned yet?

??? Was Arnold suspended? Why does this Iris always pop up close to the departure of some immature-seeming, odd, debater with destructive agendas, like Arnold and Starjade? Are they all members of the same sect or what? Who is this Iris? The xian fairy god mother of all those who come here to proclaim their anti-quran truths???

Just a off-topic (but on-core-problem) side remark I felt I had to make after reading this thread The problem is not proving/showing things to people. The problem lies in whether they want to be shown or not. The problem is whether they are willing to change their mind or not. The problem lies in their motives. Do they wanna learn or are they just out to win, and prove someone else (and that person's faith and book) wrong. Sometimes it hard to tell which one of the following things is the real case in a debater brickwall Plain old stubborn and cramped rigidness. Doubtful motives. "child syndrome" Inexperience, naiveness, over-confidence in one's knowledge. Low IQ

enquirer, Interesting views! I'm sorry if I sound slow, but I'd love to understand your thinking more, to compare with my own thinking, and get something positive out of it. So if you could answer these questions just very briefly I'd be grateful Do you believe in an existing, self-aware, intelligent entity, other than any individual members of the five(seven?) kingdoms of living things? Have you read the "conversations with God"? What's your brief remark about this piece of text (if you've read it)? peace

Peace Stephanie, all, I agree that the message of The God is "God alone" and not "qur'aan alone". The qur'aan itself points towards that fact, that the signs/aayaat are not just in the qur'aan but in the horizons and within us, and the truth, including the qur'aan itself, can be confirmed using all those signs. 4153 We will show them Our signs in the horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is witness over all things? As far as the scriptures are concerned, we are asked to TRUST/BELIEVE in them, and not KNOW them, and use the signs within ourselves and the horizons to confirm the truth of their message, using our mind, logic, and reason, instead of trusting/believing in them blindly, and then to act upon that message 4136 O you who trust/believe; trust/believe in God and His messenger, and the Scripture which was sent down to His messenger, and the Scripture that was sent before. And whoever rejects God, and His angels, and His Scriptures, and His messengers, and the Last Day; then he has strayed a far straying. The addressees are "O you who trust/believe", not "O you who know". 692 And this is a Scripture which We have sent down, blessed, authenticating what is present with him, and that you may warn the capital of the towns and those around it. And those who trust/believe in the Hereafter trust/believe in it, and they are dedicated to their connection. 2121 Those to whom We have given the Scripture, they recite it as it truthfully deserves to be recited; they trust/believe in it. As for those who disbelieve in it, they are the losers. 3199 And from the people of the Scripture are those who trust/believe in God and what was sent down to you and what was sent down to them; fearful to God, they do not purchase with God's revelations a cheap price. These will have their reward with their Lord. God is quick in reckoning. 2946 And do not argue with the people of the Scripture except in the best manner; except for those who are wicked amongst them; and say "We trust/believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is the same; to Him we submit." 37 He is the One who sent down to you the Scripture, from which there are governing verses; they are the essence of the Scripture; and others which are similar. As for those who have disease in their hearts, they will follow what is similar from it seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except God. Those who are well founded in knowledge, they say "We trust/believe in it, all is from our Lord." And none will remember except the people of understanding. 1644 With clarity and the Psalms. And We sent down to you the Reminder to make clear to the people what was sent to them, and perhaps they will think. Also see 2177 Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but piety is one who trusts/believes in God and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Scripture, and the prophets, and who gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who honors the Connection, and who contributes towards betterment; as well as those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of good and bad and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and they are the righteous. The qur'aan being a compiled and written book from the onset of revelation, does not contradict with quotation of facts in it which occurred at a later date, after the onset of revelation. Following is an explanation of this A book could consist of a few written pages bound together, and then we can keep expanding the same book by adding more written pages to it, and the expanded book would still be a book. For example the current Bible consists of many "books" that were added to it at different periods, but the end result is still a book, and the Bible was still a book before other "books" were added to it ! The Qur'aan was a written book even when it comprised of only a few written pages kept together containing a few verses in the beginning. Subsequently, as more verses were revealed, those verses were written on additional pages and added to the starting book, and thus the book grew in size until all the verses were revealed, at which time it was still a book. Thus it was a compiled and written book at all those stages ! So are you saying the lineage of content in the book has not changed from the original book compiled by the Prophet. If this is true can we see the oldest copies? Where is the original?

Salam JM, I personally believe one of the biggest mistakes the Muslims commited was that they did not march on Europe after they had the upper hand in the crusades and change the hostile governments and dismantle the church that kept feeding the hatred and racism than led to the crusades in the first place. This complacency led to the Europeans who were foaming at the mouth fanatics to circumvent the Middle East and reach the continent of America where they commited great acts of horror and terror slaughtering millions of men women and children while stealing their land and resources. Maybe, but were these "Muslims" still muslim at that time ? Peace
