    Peace Rajah

396 The first Sanctuary established for the people is the one in Bakk'a, blessed, and a guidance for the worlds.

Remember that there is also a "Becca Valley" in today's Lebanon.
That place got some spotlight recently due to the Hezbollah vs Israel conflict.

      Sacred Masjid.

      Muhammad an Arab
Born in Mecca, brought up In Mecca
Could natrually only be pleased if the Mosque/house of his birth place is to be assigned as Qibla for all the Muslims and not offcourse a Mosque or Place some thousand miles away.

There is NO evidence that Muhammad is an Arab or a Quraish.
There is NO evidence that Muhammad was born in Mecca.
There is NO evidence that Muhammad is an Arabic name, before the rise of Muhammad Ibnu Abdullah and his mates.
There IS evidence that Muhammad or Mahmad is a common Bani Ishmail's name, literally means Praised. Even long before Muhammad Ibnu Abdullah's time (circa 600AD).

The Jews makes a great distinction of The Arab's People and the BENEY YISHMEEL (People Of Ishmail)
The word ARAB can be derived from Hebrew ARAV which literally means DESERT. ARAVAH means DESERT PLAIN.
Thus Arab People means Desert people.
BENEY YISHMEEL was living in the northern part of Arab Peninsula, in the crossroad between Kanaan and Sinai.

There are also a group of BENEY YISHMEEL who lives alongside their cousin the BENEY YISREEL in Kanaan or today's Israel/Palestine.
They create their own group/sect and named KARAITES by the Jews.
      http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karaite_Judaism

They refuse the "Ijma Ulema" and also "Hadith" (Mishna) as forced to believed by the Rabbanical Judaism.
And they suffer dearly from it.. (Declared infidel/murtaad/kaffir by the mainstream Rabbanical Judaism)

      Salam

There is NO evidence that Muhammad is an Arab...

Evidence that the above is TRUE.

        http//www.islamicity.com/mosque/arabicscript/Ayat/41/41_44.htm

4144 Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes) They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"

        http//www.islamicity.com/mosque/arabicscript/Ayat/47/47_2.htm

472 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.

In stead of putting concealed relpy, you should have provided evidence from the Quran that it was "The Quran" which was revealed to Muhammad PBUH which you did not .

Please provide Arabic text + its translation

                  Jaffar

The pagan Arab's cubic structure named "Kaba", still house many idols at that time.
It would be indeed strange that God instruct Muhammad Ibnu Abdullah and its people to pray towards "A supermarket of Idols" called Kaba.

                  Salam

Jaffar your argument can be discarded in a single post, but that is not the purpose, the target is we must arrive at the truth.

                  Pagan Arab's

Question #1. What do you mean by Pagan?
Question #2. Who told you that God instructed Muhammad Ibnu Abdullah and his people to pray towards "A super market of Idols?" What is your source?
Question#3. Any cube is "Kaaba" in Arab? How do you came to know that it still house many idols at that time?

Be careful while answering. (A friendly advice).

                    Samia

                    Salaam Raj-ah

So it is about him and the house of his birth, not the house of Allah? Are you sure these were the intentions of the prophet?

And what about this "distance"? He was looking at the sky for heaven's sake, millions of miles away, searching for a "qibla". Why not look down to the earth?

And as jafar says, why would Muhammad "be pleased" with a supermarket of idols and a place where he had but enemies that chased him out of it? Patriotism?

                    Wa-Alaikum Salaam, Samia

According to Islamic history, wasn't the cubic room in Mecca full of idols when the prophet was in Medina? According to the same source, wasnt in Medina that these verses were revealed?

Do you think that God would ignore the fact that the cubic room was still full of idols and was still circumbulated by the pagans, and only think of what "pleases" Muhammad vis-a-vis his birth place and make him pray towards those idols, just like the pagans who were still praying to those idols at that time?

The best way is to discuss it one on one as you can see in a open thread when responding to all you cannot concentrate on the topic. Therfore if you like we can start a thread on it and I will appreciate you improving my knowldge.

                                Dear Raj-ah,

My request was quite simple. You said most of the questions I had asked had been answered by you on a thread. So I simply said link me to your specific answers or quote them so I can read them. You never did.

If you are sincere about discussing this, I do not mind you starting a new thread for us, and setting up the questions I asked and you posting the answers you gave so we can review it in one place. Once this is done, pm me.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

In stead of putting concealed relpy, you should have provided evidence from the Quran that it was "The Quran" which was revealed to Muhammad PBUH which you did not .

Again this does not prove that Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad PBUH.He might be having some companion prophet as Haroon PBUH was with Moses PBUH.
The companion of Prophet PBUH might be "Ahmed" for whome the Jesus PBUH foretold .

                                      Sister Samia
please do not depend upon Hearsay. How can Baitullah be occupied by idols?? Please provide some concrete proof from the Quran.
                                      Thanks

A lesson in logic of The Quran

If person A believes in something (lets says traditional ahadith) and person B does not. Person B can still use traditional ahadith in their argument/discussion to disprove person A's position, e.g. by finding contradictions, inconsistancies, errors within traditional ahadith themselves etc.

This method is even cited in The Quran itself when those who disbelieve and doubt The Quran are asked to find an inconsistancy in The Quran or bring a chapter like The Quran etc.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

If you will base you argument on wrong elements its conclusion will also be wrong (common sense).

It is the reason Quran forbids to accept the news narrated by "Faasiq".

If bread is not available it does not mean one starts eating filth.
