No associate has He; and this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who submit. Some sunnis claim that Muhammad was the first thing created because he was the first to submit to the Lord. Since everything submits to God, then he was the first created because he was the first to submit. What can you say? Peace Tony

Peace all, This is essentially to ask/confirm if rahman and raheem come from the same root as is seems to be and if so... I wanted to ask what the meaning of the root rhm is (in different dictionaries etc)...as we can see in the quran study and translation, under the thread surah rahman...brother ayman and i think a sister's conclusion as well as dr. sharour? (hope i got that right) think that rahman stands for retribution, as far as i can understand... Now, it might or might not be plausible in practise to have dramatically different meanings for one root...but then again, for mercy and compassion and benefiance (is that a word?) to come from one root is understandable, as they are essentially having some similarity...but if it's retribution then its poles apart...evokes power and might and authority (justice?) imo... While doing my study on roots, i understood that words coming from the same root are essentially similar but can have different meanings...but even the vast majority of different meanings are derived from the basic meaning of that root...so hoping someone can explain this apparent aberration...linguistically or otherwise...and give some examples of root words having dramatically different meanings... Thanks! Nadia

PoOKiez 88 is now directly connected. Weak Faith272 but how can God do that Weak Faith272 i mean Weak Faith272 not like that Weak Faith272 He can doa nything Weak Faith272 but Weak Faith272 sending someone who was say, perhaps emotionally disturbed Weak Faith272 into hellfire?12 ELEPlaya4Life its complicated, I'm thinking of something here ELEPlaya4Life I'm thinking that the person could have possibly gotten mental care or some sort of serious help, killing yourself is never a necessary thing Weak Faith272 yes but Weak Faith272 what about hte ppl that feel as if Weak Faith272 they have no otheroption? Weak Faith272 ppl feel that way sometimes, u noe Weak Faith272 so Weak Faith272 hypothetically, this guy kills himself Weak Faith272 for that reason Weak Faith272 I can't even pciture Weak Faith272 tHE MOST MERCIFUL Weak Faith272 throw him into hellfire? Weak Faith272 it doens make sense Weak Faith272 especially with names lke Weak Faith272 most merciful, most kind. ELEPlaya4Life yeah, there is always other options though, they just feel that way, hence the word feel Weak Faith272 yes but Weak Faith272 according ot tem Weak Faith272 its the only way out. ELEPlaya4Life there is no situation where kiling yourself is the only way out of it, there might be but I'm just not thinking Weak Faith272 no, i meant, some ppl feel that way. Weak Faith272 hence, suicide. ELEPlaya4Life they need help ELEPlaya4Life hence we are back to the beginning ELEPlaya4Life here is my idea ELEPlaya4Life if they are in such a position emotionally ELEPlaya4Life and nobody on the outside knows they need to alert their parents or friends or something and get help, if the friends and parents fail to help i believe they might face just as equal a punishment as well ELEPlaya4Life the person should get into a mental instititution ELEPlaya4Life or get therapy Weak Faith272 someone who is suicidal is not mental. ELEPlaya4Life then just therapy Weak Faith272 what if nobody knows? ELEPlaya4Life GRRRR Weak Faith272 what will become of them/ ELEPlaya4Life thats why Weak Faith272 for somebody who needed help ELEPlaya4Life they should tell somebody Weak Faith272 God will throw him in...HELLFIRE Weak Faith272 omg Weak Faith272 that SO Weak Faith272 doesnt make ANY Weak Faith272 n i mean Weak Faith272 ANY Weak Faith272 sense. Weak Faith272 for something an ALLMERCIFUL Weak Faith272 god Weak Faith272 shoudl do ELEPlaya4Life its not all merciful Weak Faith272 wow it doesnt make ense. ELEPlaya4Life its most merciful Weak Faith272 whatever. ELEPlaya4Life lol ELEPlaya4Life anyways I'll have to study the subject ELEPlaya4Life i havent really looked into it Weak Faith272 whatever, there is no reasonabel explanation for that. ELEPlaya4Life there might be, the person is an idiot if they kill themselves for emotional problems, they should seek help from God or if they are atheists or pagans then help from their parents and friends Weak Faith272 seek help from God? Weak Faith272 directly is not possible ELEPlaya4Life no crap Weak Faith272 so, why not say seek help from parents and friends Weak Faith272 same shit Weak Faith272 isnt it. ELEPlaya4Life unless God is the parents and friends ELEPlaya4Life lol Weak Faith272 lol ELEPlaya4Life seek help from God, you know what that means, stop playing dumb Weak Faith272 lol whatever man. Weak Faith272 and what if He doesn't help? ELEPlaya4Life seek help from God=seek help in the Quran Weak Faith272 how so ELEPlaya4Life i cant really say, I dont know the emotional issues at hand, whatever they are, losing a job, a family member or friend dying, nobody likes them, whatever the Reading will bring their problems into perspective ELEPlaya4Life no matter how bad your problems are ELEPlaya4Life there will always be somebody with worst Weak Faith272 u cant say that about somebody who has it TH WORST. Weak Faith272 so, what about them? Weak Faith272 aint nobody under dem ELEPlaya4Life lol cant say, I wouldn't know anybody that has it the worst ELEPlaya4Life nor do i know their problems ELEPlaya4Life name a possible problem ELEPlaya4Life that could cause somebody to commit suicide ELEPlaya4Life or want to at least Weak Faith272 depression. Weak Faith272 whatifu just Weak Faith272 have the episodic blooes Weak Faith272 bloos* ELEPlaya4Life lol Weak Faith272 andu just feel liek shit Weak Faith272 lol Weak Faith272 n u wanna die so badly Weak Faith272 to make everything go away. Weak Faith272 n nothing makes sense. ELEPlaya4Life killing yourself will not make them go away, hence disbelief in the Hereafter ELEPlaya4Life they believe you just fade away after you die Weak Faith272 hm. Weak Faith272 what about the hereafter? Weak Faith272 17-36 Weak Faith272 how wouldu confirm Weak Faith272 resurrection ELEPlaya4Life Hereafter, the Last Day are all metaphorical for the recompense/requita of our deeds ELEPlaya4Life requital* ELEPlaya4Life every deed (cause) has an effect ELEPlaya4Life suicide as well Weak Faith272 yes but Weak Faith272 u said Weak Faith272 every cause has an effect Weak Faith272 why? Weak Faith272 i mean Weak Faith272 theonly reaon u noe that Weak Faith272 is because you have been OBSERVING ELEPlaya4Life thats the laws of the universe Weak Faith272 the past laws Weak Faith272 and they have been consistent. ELEPlaya4Life belief in the unseen ELEPlaya4Life Weak Faith272 blind faith? ELEPlaya4Life nope ELEPlaya4Life but Weak Faith272 then? ELEPlaya4Life listen ELEPlaya4Life just listen ELEPlaya4Life belief in that which is outside the reach of our perception does not=blind faith ELEPlaya4Life but from examining the past aws and seeing their consistency we gain faith in the fact that God's system is constant and that cause and effect is the natural way of the universe ELEPlaya4Life laws* Weak Faith272 wait Weak Faith272 u have been observing them ELEPlaya4Life seriously this is too much for one convo Weak Faith272 and that they have been consistent Weak Faith272 wait Weak Faith272 but ELEPlaya4Life suicide and Hereafter Weak Faith272 that doesnt mean that THEY WERE ALWAYS CONSISTENT Weak Faith272 and that Weak Faith272 THEY WILL ALWAYS BE CONISTENT Weak Faith272 i ean Weak Faith272 mean* Weak Faith272 the more u observe Weak Faith272 ur right Weak Faith272 the mor faith u get Weak Faith272 that they will always bE CONSISTENT Weak Faith272 but that doesnt mean they will always be concistent Weak Faith272 conistent* ELEPlaya4Life right Weak Faith272 inductive reasoning Weak Faith272 is faulty. Weak Faith272 I mean Weak Faith272 how can He just be there ELEPlaya4Life i know whatcha mean ELEPlaya4Life again ELEPlaya4Life wel nah your just wierd Weak Faith272 LOL Weak Faith272 ugh Weak Faith272 religion, no matter how systematic it is Weak Faith272 is very perplexing Weak Faith272 the reading claims to be clear and eas to understand Weak Faith272 yet Weak Faith272 we dont understand SO MANY THINGS ELEPlaya4Life you always wonder what God did before He created things Weak Faith272 why does our life have to revolve around a BOOK? Weak Faith272 Isn't belief in God enough? ELEPlaya4Life lol starting to sound like Christians Weak Faith272 lol Weak Faith272 ah Weak Faith272 maybe im jus getting pissed ELEPlaya4Life we dont have to believe in God or do good works ELEPlaya4Life HAVE ELEPlaya4Life but we do it Weak Faith272 fine then Weak Faith272 why does paradise have to require for us to have our life REVOLVE AROUND A BOOK ELEPlaya4Life because from our examining will provide the best results ELEPlaya4Life PARADISE=recompense of our deeds ELEPlaya4Life cause and effect again ELEPlaya4Life please these argument wear me out ELEPlaya4Life i'm way to lazy for this Weak Faith272 lol Weak Faith272 yea but Weak Faith272 o alright Weak Faith272 lol Weak Faith272 im sorry i worked ut oo hard ELEPlaya4Life lol what did God do before he created stuff, did He play tidally winks all day (in the allegorical sense of His day) before He created us ELEPlaya4Life seriously ELEPlaya4Life the questions are annoying ELEPlaya4Life i have no idea Weak Faith272 TIDALLY WINKS WTF LOL Weak Faith272 yes they are annoying Weak Faith272 yet Weak Faith272 they make you think ELEPlaya4Life yeah Weak Faith272 http//wiccan-refuge.com/philosophy.html ELEPlaya4Life blah Weak Faith272 he got some pretty nice stuff ELEPlaya4Life philosophy is annoying Weak Faith272 lol ur jut lazy Weak Faith272 i noe what umean ELEPlaya4Life they always try to look to deep into things like WHAT IF WE REALLY DONT EXIST AND WE ARE JUST SOMEBODY'S IMAGINATION Weak Faith272 LOL ELEPlaya4Life i'm like ok ELEPlaya4Life philosophy survives on WHAT IF questions mostly ELEPlaya4Life which bugs me ELEPlaya4Life what if tomorrow the sun collides into the earth ELEPlaya4Life I have absolute faith that the sun has provided the earth with heat and energy since the earth was created ELEPlaya4Life is that blind? Weak Faith272 kind ofl other parts of the convo ELEPlaya4Life marriage between man and women only, sex outside of marriage forbidden, homosexuality=forbidden Weak Faith272 who says we have to have any type of sex Weak Faith272 i dont get it Weak Faith272 why is it forbidden? ELEPlaya4Life ok then there is always the people of Lot Weak Faith272 i ne Weak Faith272 i noe. Weak Faith272 bu Weak Faith272 WHY Weak Faith272 whats so wrong Weak Faith272 about it Weak Faith272 Geez. ELEPlaya4Life again ELEPlaya4Life i said ELEPlaya4Life marriage between man and women ELEPlaya4Life the only kind Weak Faith272 why not women n women ELEPlaya4Life sex is only for reproduction Weak Faith272 and men and men ELEPlaya4Life not for pleasure Weak Faith272 why not? Weak Faith272 for pleasure ELEPlaya4Life because reproduction is its purpose ELEPlaya4Life pleasure is just part of it ELEPlaya4Life if sex was painful for the human species it wouldnt be a joyful thing to carry on the human race ELEPlaya4Life but then there is sex not for reproduction in marriage according to the Reading .................... ELEPlaya4Life my response to hell and paradise not being able to verify them is that cause and effects are God's laws that have lasted since God knows when and paradise and hell (recompense and requital) are universal truths that conform with our daily life (hence the signs) and we verify their truth through simple analysis, this all goes back to faith in God and that His physical (gravity) and metaphysical (cause and effect) laws of the universe are unchanging ELEPlaya4Life gravity and cause and effect are just examples ELEPlaya4Life by the way ^^^

PEACE and SALAM to all. WHAT IS KAAcBA KAAcB = ankle foot bottom tail end lower part THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE MUSLIMS The KAAcBA is the most important and sacred place for Muslims. It is in Meccah and it is mandatory for all Muslims to visit at least once in a lifetime to perform Hajj or visit multiple times as the sources permit to perform Umrah or mini Hajj and it is considered as a QIBLAH, a direction to face while praying. Through the rituals we understand that Allah is staying in the KAAcBA and Muslims call on Him when they visit for Hajj and Umrah. The KAAcBA is considered as a House built by Abraham and cleanliness of the House was commissioned to him by Allah for those who stay in the House (Itikaf), those who Circimambulates the House (Tawaaf) and those who bow (Ruku) and those who prostrates (Sujud) in prayers in the House. Unfortunately all the details mentioned above in relation to KAAcBA do not reflect in any verse of the Quran but the source of all information is from Hadith the second most revered book of Muslims. Say (O Muhammad SAW) Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow not any PATRON besides Him (Allah). Little do you remember! 73 A clear message from Allah to follow Him through His Quran and follow no one through their books Although the above details of KAAcBA are not mentioned in the Quran therefore all the beliefs and rituals attached to the KAAcBA should be disbelieved and stopped immediately if we understand verse 73 and follow it And follow not that of which you have no knowledge. Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those will be responsible for it 1736 We do not have any knowledge of the above belief and rituals related to the KAAcBA, as it is not mentioned in the trusted Book, the QURAN. We do not have any knowledge for sure that prophet did revere KAAcBA as the House of Allah. Our sources of information are from sayings passed on from our ancestors and the book of Hadith. The book of Hadith has been proved as a book of LIES, VULGARITY, ATROCIOUS, SEXY, ABUSIVE, and FANTASIES and UNBELIEVABLE STORIES and above all THE MOST BLASPHEMOUS BOOK. Blasphemy against Allah, prophet, and his wives and the sahabas in the books of Hadith is a proof that this book is written by the enemies of Allah Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say "This is from Allah" to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woes to them for what their hands do write and for the gain they make thereby. 279 The word KAAcBA appears in the Quran in 6 / 95 / 97 YAA 'AYYUHAA 'ALLADHENA 'AAMANO 'IDHAA QUMTUM 'ILAA AS.- S.ALAAH FA- IGHSILO WUJOH -KUM WA- AYDE -KUM 'ILAA AL- MARAAFIQ WA- IMSAH.O BI- RU'OS -KUM WA- ARJUL -KUM 'ILAA AL- KAAcBAIN ??. 56 O you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salat (the prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ANKLES ?? 56 KAAcB = ankle KAAcBAIN = ankles YAA 'AYYUHAA 'ALLADHENA 'AAMANO LA- YABLUWANNA -KUM 'ALLAAH BI- SHAY' MIN AS.- S.AYD TANAAL -HU AYDE -KUM WA- RIMAAH. -KUM LI- YAcLAM 'ALLAAH MAN YAKHAAF -HU BI- AL- GHAYB FA- MAN IcTADAA BAcDA DHAALIKA FA- LA- -HU cADHAAB 'ALEM 594 YANAAL = to obtain get acquire win gain earn receive to attain achieve RIMAAH = spear javelin lance pike O you who believe! Allah will certainly make a TRIAL of you with something in WILD ANIMALS or BIRDS that you obtained by your HANDS and your SPEARS that Allah may know who fears Him unseen. Then whoever transgresses thereafter, for him there is a painful torment. 594 The believers will be TESTED with something in relation to HUNTING. Kill not game while in the Sacred Precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally the compensation is an offering brought to the Ka'ba of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty for Allah is Exalted and Lord of Retribution. 595 SAYD = game hunt(ing) shoot(ing) ?????? ???????? fishing fishery game quarry kill Game pastime, match, sport, wild animals or birds hunted for food or sport (OXFORD) The correct translation YAA 'AYYUHAA 'ALLADHENA 'AAMANO O you who believe LAA TAQTULO AS. - S.AYD WA- 'ANTUM H.URUM Kill not wild animals or birds while you are forbidden WA- MAN QATALA -HU MIN -KUM MUTAcAMMID (AN) And whosoever among you kills it intentionally FA- JAZAA' MITHL MAA QATALA MIN AN- NAcAM Then the recompense is a similar to what killed from the animal YAH.KUM BI- -HI DHAWAA cADL MIN -KUM Adjudged it by two men of justice among you HADY (AN) BAALIGH AL- KAcBAH The offering's maturity of the ankles. ASH- SHAHR AL- H.ARAAM BI- ASH- SHAHR AL- H.ARAAM WA- AL- H.URUMAAT QIS.AAS. FA- MAN IcTADAA cALAY -KUM FA- IcTADO cALAY -HI BI- MITHL MAA IcTADAA cALAY -KUM WA- ITTAQO 'ALLAAH WA- IcLAMO 'ANNA 'ALLAAH MAcA AL- MUTTAQEN 2194 The prohibited month for the prohibited month and so for all things IN STATE OF IHRAM (FOR HAJJ or UMRAH) there is the law of equality. If then anyone transgresses the prohibition against you transgress ye likewise against him. But fear Allah and know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves. 2194 FA- 'IDHAA INSALAKHA AL- ASHHUR AL- H.URUM FA- UQTULO AL- MUSHRIKEN H.AYTHU WAJADTUMO -HUM WA- KHUDHO -HUM WA- UH.S.URO -HUM WA- UQcUDO LA- -HUM KULL MARS.AD FA- 'IN TAABO WA- AQAAMO AS.- S.ALAAH WA- 'AATAW AZ- ZAKAAH FA- KHALLO SABEL -HUM 'INNA 'ALLAAH GHAFOR RAH.EM 95 But when the IN STATE OF IHRAM (FOR HAJJ or UMRAH) months are past then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity then open the way for them for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. 95 'INNA cIDDAH ASH- SHUHOR cINDA 'ALLAAH ITHNAA cASHAR SHAHR(AN) FE KITAAB 'ALLAAH YAWM KHALAQA AS- SAMAAWAAT WA- AL- 'ARD. MIN -HAA ARBAcAH H.URUM DHAALIKA AD- DEN AL- QAYYIM FA- LAA TAZ.LIMO FE -HINNA ANFUS -KUM WA- QAATILO AL- MUSHRIKEN KAAFFAH KA-MAA YUQAATILON -KUM KAAFFAH WA- IcLAMO 'ANNA 'ALLAAH MAcA AL- MUTTAQEN 936 Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are IN STATE OF IHRAM (FOR HAJJ or UMRAH). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) collectively as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V.22). 936 When substituted the meaning (of HURUM) FORBIDDEN or PROHIBITION with the alleged meaning of the translator's "STATE OF IHRAM for HAJJ", we find that the verse reads nonsense in totality. It is totally nonsense to deem the meaning of HURUM as a state of Ihram or Hajj. The correct meaning is forbidden. Surah 5 is revealed in connection to FOOD and HUNTING and not HAJJ therefore the word HURUM is RELATED to PROHIBITION. O YOU BELIEVE Kill not wild animals or birds while you are FORBIDDEN And whosoever among you kills it intentionally, then the recompense is a similar to what killed from the animal Adjudged it by two men of justice among you, the MATURITY OF THE ANKLES of the animal killed or, for expiation, he should feed Masakin (poor persons), or its equivalent in Saum (fasting), that he may taste the heaviness (punishment) of his deed. ALLAH HAS FORGIVEN WHAT IS PAST BUT WHOSEVER COMMITS IT AGAIN, ALLAH WILL TAKE RETRIBUTION FROM HIM. And Allah is Almighty, All-Able of Retribution. 595 cAFAA 'ALLAAH cAN MAA SALAFA WA- MAN cAADA FA- YANTAQIM 'ALLAAH MIN -HU WA- 'ALLAAH cAZEZ DHO INTIQAAM ALLAH HAS FORGIVEN WHAT IS PAST, but whosoever commits it again, Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Almighty, All-Able of Retribution. IN THE PAST WHEN DID THE BELIEVERS GO ON PILGRIMAGE TO KAAcBA AND COMMITTED THIS HORRENDOUS CRIME? This means that this crime has been committed before many times, then who were those who hunted while IN THE STATE OF IHRAM for HAJJ, in MECCA in the past before prophet MUHAMMAD and his followers? The verse is addressed to the BELIEVERS, but BELIEVERS never went to HAJJ before this verse was revealed and, therefore there arises no question of any KAAcBA or state of IHRAM or HAJJ. According to the history of Islam, the DISBELIEVERS circumambulated the House naked, then who in the past was wearing the two- piece (TOGA) and hunted. The corruptors of the words of the Quran forgot what is forbidden in the HAJJ. For Hajj are the months well known. If anyone undertakes that duty therein let there be no OBSCENITY nor WICKEDNESS nor WRANGLING in the HAJJ. And whatever good ye do (be sure) Allah knoweth it. And take a provision (with you) for the journey but the best of provisions is right conduct. So fear Me O ye that are wise 2197 In the HAJJ, the believers must keep away from OBSCENITY, WICKEDNESS and WRANGLING and not LAND HUNTING. Did Allah forgot to mention the prohibition of LAND HUNTING in the HAJJ in the above verse? UH.ILLA LA- -KUM S.AYD AL- BAH.R WA- T.AcAAM -HU MATAAc(AN) LA- -KUM WA- LI- AS- SAYYAARAH WA- H.URRIMA cALAY -KUM S.AYD AL- BARR MAA DUMTUM H.URUM(AN) WA- ITTAQO 'ALLAAH 'ALLADHE 'ILAY -HI TUH.SHARON 596 Lawful to you is (the pursuit of) water?game and its use for food - for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel, but forbidden is (the pursuit of) land game as long as you are in a state of Ihram (for Hajj or 'Umrah). And fear Allah to Whom you shall be gathered back. 596 LAWFUL to you is water hunting and its use for food - for the benefit of yourselves and for the CARAVAN OF TRAVELLERS, but FORBIDDEN is land hunting as long as you are FORBIDDEN And fear Allah to Whom you shall be gathered back. 596 Water hunting is lawful for the BELIEVERS and the CARAVAN OF TRAVELLERS therefore forbidden is the land hunting for the BELIEVERS and the CARAVAN OF TRAVELLERS. QAALA QAA'IL MIN -HUM LAA TAQTULO YOSUF WA- ALQO -HU FE GHAYAABAH AL- JUBB YALTAQIT. -HU BAcD. AS- SAYYAARAH 'IN KUNTUM FAAcILEN 1210 Said one of them "Slay not Joseph but if ye must do something throw him down to the bottom of the well he will be picked up by some CARAVAN OF TRAVELLERS." 1210 Why the word SAYYARAH is placed in the verse and why not HAJJ as mentioned in 919 It is simple, because it is not revealed in connection to HAJJ or PILGRIMS, but hunting and its prohibition in the four months to PROTECT THE WILD LIFE JAcALA 'ALLAAH AL- KAcBAH AL- BAYT AL- H.ARAAM QIYAAM (AN) LI- AN- NAAS WA- ASH- SHAHR AL- H.ARAAM WA- AL- HADY WA- AL- QALAA'ID DHAALIKA LI- TAcLAMO 'ANNA 'ALLAAH YAcLAM MAA FE AS- SAMAAWAAT WA- MAA FE AL- 'ARD. WA- 'ANNA 'ALLAAH BI- KULL SHAY' cALEM 597 Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, an asylum of security and Hajj and 'Umrah (pilgrimage) for mankind, and also the Sacred Month and the animals of offerings and the garlanded (people or animals, etc. marked with the garlands on their necks made from the outer part of the stem of the Makkah trees for their security), that you may know that Allah has knowledge of all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and that Allah is the All?Knower of each and everything. 597 JAcL = to make to provide with to begin start to put to place to create to appoint to fix to set QIYAAM = rising getting up standing existence outbreak setting out leaving departure performance execution carrying out consummation discharge accomplishment undertaking support stay QALADAH = to entrust to imitate copy mimic to gird with a sword to decorate award a decoration or medal QALAAIcD = necklace collar pendant exquisite poems Allah has set the ankles, the restrictions of the House / place a support for mankind, and the prohibited Months and the animals of killings and those entrusted with that you may know that Allah has knowledge of all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and that Allah is the All Knower of each and everything. The ankles which should be MATURED has been set as condition for hunting, it's a support for mankind as well as animals of killings, and the restrictions of the House / place is a support for the, prohibited months and those entrusted with the restrictions of the House / place Allah has made the KAAcBA an asylum of security and Hajj and 'Umrah (pilgrimage) for mankind, and also the Sacred Month and the animals of offerings and the garlanded (people or animals, etc. marked with the garlands on their necks made from the outer part of the stem of the Makkah trees for their security), Is KAAcBA made as an asylum of security and Hajj and Umrah for mankind Is KAAcBA made for the SACRED MONTHS? Is KAAcBA made for the GARLANDS? Is KAAcBA made for the ANIMALS OF KILLING? Muslims believe that KAAcBA is the House of Allah, and all Muslims are duty bound to visit the House once in a lifetime, but before believing they should have read the above verse to know that the House of Allah is made for mankind, for the PROHIBITED MONTHS, for the ANIMALS OF KILLING and for the GARLANDS. It is understood that the so-called House of Allah is for MANKIND but it is very difficult to understand that it is MADE for the PROHIBITED MONTHS and the ANIMALS OF KILLING and the GARLANDS. Is there any Muslim scholar who can explain this verse? What is the relationship of KAAcBA with the PROHIBITED MONTHS? What is the relationship of KAAcBA with ANIMALS OF KILLING? What is the relationship of KAAcBA with the GARLANDS? There are two Houses mentioned in the verse, KAAcBA and SACRED HOUSE. Are these two same or different? If KAAcBA is the SACRED HOUSE then what is BAYT of 2125/127 396 835 2226 AL- KAcBAH AL- BAYT AL- H.ARAAM The KAAcBA the Sacred House it means two different structures, if KAAcBA is the House of Allah then what is Bayt Al Haraam. Allah is staying in which House, the KAAcBA or the Bayt Al Haraam. The corruptors hid the meaning of KAACBA as ankles and fabricated it as the House of Allah. The corruptors hid the meaning of HURUM as prohibited and fabricated as 'in the state of Ihram for hajj or Umrah. The corruptors hid the meaning of BAALIGH AL KAACBA as maturity of the ankles and fabricated as " brought to the KAAcBA" And cover not Truth with falsehood nor conceal the Truth when ye know (what it is). 242 Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book and purchase for them a miserable profit they swallow into themselves naught but fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection nor purify them; grievous will be their penalty. 2174 They are the ones who buy error in place of guidance and torment in place of forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (they show) for the Fire!. 2175 They have purchased with the verses of Allah a little gain, and they hindered men from His Way; evil indeed is that which they used to do. 99 thanks

Assalamwalkeum, Can we eat the meat dishes/burgers that are served at McDonalds, Burger King, Subway etc as long as they don't contain pork in it? The religious people at our mosque say they have declared a "fatweh", but I don't take them as my god because they are bunch of sunni's. If possible please find me a link to an article/Quran verses to understand this.

Hello there, I need a little help with the words "despair" and "strayers" in these verses, could any one of you offer any comments please? The Quran says He said, "None despairs of his Lord's mercy, except the strayers." "O my sons, go fetch Joseph and his brother, and never despair of GOD's grace. None despairs of GOD's grace except the disbelieving people." They said, "The good news we give you is true; do not despair." He said, "My Lord, the bones have turned brittle in my body, and my hair is aflame with gray. As I implore You, my Lord, I never despair. Now, I have just two questions regarding this 1.) Who exactly are the "strayers" in these verses? Are they the idol worshippers who have lost all hope in the real God as they implore a bunch of idols that don't even exists OR are these "strayers" anyone who simply do not believe that God will not do this/that for them? 2.) On a personal note, I have kind of lost all hope when it comes to some matters, right (meaning I don't think God's going to do any thing to help me out with them. I am on my own and there's even no need to bother and ask God to help me out with them.) Now, does it mean I belong with the "strayers" just because I've lost hope in one single thing eventhough I am following all the commandments and doing all the things I must be doing as a believer? Thanks all for your time, RL

Peace, I thought it would be nice to start a 'verse of the day' thread. My verse for today is When his Lord said to him "Surrender", he said "I surrender to the Lord of the worlds." 2-131 Abraham was a paragon of monotheism. He was humble and submissive, and did not set up partners with the one true God Sara

Peace all Sunnis ridicule the translation of RK and free-minds of 1746, and they have this explanation. I hope you can shed light on this, especially those who know Arabic. FM And if you mention your Lord in the Quran alone, they run away turning their backs in aversion. Traditional and when you mention your Lord alone in the Quran they turn their backs in aversion. This is their explanation Since only the Arabic text is Qur'an, we must look at the verse and understand it in Arabic "wa idha dhakarta rabbaka fi al-Qur'ani wahdahu wallaw 'ala adbarihim nufuran". Grammatically speaking, the word "wahdahu" (Him alone) serves as a modifier to the word "rabbaka" (your Lord) and does not modify the word "al-Qur'ani" as Rashad Khalifa wants us to believe. The Arabic rules of grammar can never allow this falsification, as the modifier or the na't (descriptive word) must be in the same grammatical case as the modified noun. In order for the word "wahdahu" to modify "al-Qur'ani," it must agree with it in the grammatical case. However, they do not agree, as "wahdahu" is in the accusative case while "al-Qur'ani" is in the genitive case and is governed by the preposition "fi". The word "whadahu" must modify the word "rabbaka", which are both in the accusative case, as indicated by the fathah (represented by the letter a in English) on the second syllable. Could the Arabic speakers here shed light on this? Thanks and Peace! Tony

3/7He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except God. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding. Salaams everybody, I allways wondered how a prophet would accept such a thing to be from allah, don't you? Unashamedly the people to point me in this direction are those who don't accept the quran as word of God(cristians). They have a copy of the Tashkent quran and they try to find things wrong there. 37103 they point out that the ayat is somewhat different to that found in the modern qurans. "Falamma Aslama" is actually "Wa Ma Aslama". so the meaning is "Then when they submitted" ,but should be ,"and not they submitted" I noticed two more words have been mistranslated according to lanes. Wa talaho = and temples sweating profusely , LilJabeena=afraid/cowardly. And they did not submit and where sweating profusely and where afraid/cowardly and we did not oppose that,"O Abraham you have passed/cut through the act of the dream/tradition thus verily we reward the good doer's. Verily that is a call the menifest and we oppose it not the great sacrifice........",e.t.c I hope someone has seen the misprint /may be has a copy of the tashkent quran, would love to see it-a copy or something. Salaams, and thanks.

In my earlier article on Masjid I tried to prove that the Masjid in the Quran does not mean Physical Mosque but Act of compliance. Similarly Masjid Al Haraam is also not a Physical Mosque but the restrictions of the act of compliance. I have tried my best to translate the verses without inserting any words in the brackets as done by the traditional translators. I request the readers to critically examine my explanation of the verses and if they find any errors then let them correct me. Let us united dig out the truth and bring it to the surface, which is hidden beneath the lies of the corruptors. Verily! We have seen the turning of your (Muhammad's SAW) face towards the heaven. Surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblah (prayer direction) that shall please you, so turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid- al-Haram (at Makkah). And wheresoever you people are, turn your faces (in prayer) in that direction. Certainly, the people who were given the Scriptures (i.e. Jews and the Christians) know well that, that (your turning towards the direction of the Ka'bah at Makkah in prayers) is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do. 2144 And from where so ever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) that is indeed the truth from your Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. 2149 If QIBLAH is a prayer direction then Masjid Al Haram is the direction to face while praying and if the QIBLAH is HOUSES then where to face while praying? WA- AWH.AYNAA 'ILAA MOSAA WA- 'AKHE -HI 'AN TABAWWA'AA LI- QAWM -KUMAA BI- MIS.R BUYOT(AN) WA- IJcALO BUYOT -KUM QIBLAH WA- AQEMO AS.- S.ALAAH WA- BASHSHIR AL- MU'MINEN 1087 And We inspired Musa (Moses) and his brother (saying) "Take houses for your people in Egypt, and make your Houses as places for your worship, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give glad tidings to the believers." 1087 QIBLAH becomes place of worship! Is it not surprising?. No command to Moses to face their houses while praying In the above verse there is no command to face Masjid Al Haram while praying and if Allah had willed that Muslims should face Masjid Al Haram while praying then there were no dearth of words for Allah to express his wishes and commands. He would have plainly commanded " WHERESOEVER YOU MAY BE FACE MASJID AL HARAM WHILE PRAYING." Why Allah deliberately omitted the word SALAT from the whole verse and from the subsequent verses? It is a clear indication that neither Allah is pointing to the physical Masjid Al Haram, which was not there and neither the prayers. IF IT WAS THE TRUTH which the people of the Book knew, then why Moses and His people, Jesus and his people NEVER VISITED MECCA TO SEE THE MASJID AL HARAM and why Prophet Muhammad in his first seventeen years of preaching faced Jerusalem while praying (although this is nowhere mentioned in the Quran) What was the QIBLAH of the people of Moses? Jerusalem or HOUSES IN EGYPT? IN WHICH DIRECTION THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL PRAYED. There is no verse in the Quran, which says that the Jews and Christians prayed while facing Jerusalem and there is no verse in the Quran commanding the Muslims to offer their prayers while facing Masjid Al Haram. Remember there was no mosque in Mecca except the stone structure full of idols Do the Muslims consider the stone structure Kaaba as the Masjid Al Haram? And from where so ever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and where so ever you are, turn your faces towards, it (when you pray) so that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are (Z.ALAMO) wrong-doers, so fear them not, but fear Me! - And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided. 2150 The word prayer is not there but it is a wishful thinking of the corruptors. For what purpose we face Masjid Al Haram from where so ever we emerge and from where so ever we are. What actually is the meaning of the verse without prayer? Who can confidently say that we Muslims are ordered to pray facing Masjid Al Haram without the word SALAT in the verse? Did Allah give permission to the ARABS to add words of their own? Do the Muslims not know that the words of Allah cannot be changed? Are the words of Allah not perfect? Alif-Lam-Ra. . (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things). 111 Perfected is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice. None can change His Words. And He is the All?Hearer, the All?Knower. 6115 The words of Allah are perfect and none can change His words. The corruptors forced insertion of the word (PRAY) in the verse is not needed to explain its meaning. If Allah had willed He would have commanded us and explained in a plain language. Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran in order that you may understand. 122 We verily, have made it a Quran in Arabic, that you may be able to understand 433 A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know. 413 The Quran is easy to understand and requires no services of any Imam or Scholar or Mullah in this direction. The words of Allah to mankind that "We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran in order that you may understand" is a signal to the corruptors that they should retreat from using their own interpretations by inserting words in (brackets) which are not needed. Allah's words are perfect and therefore no manipulation with it is allowed. MASJID AL HARAAM means RESTRICTIONS OF THE ACT OF COMPLIANCE Now what were the restrictions of the act of compliance? Remember all restrictions were imposed on the believers in Medina in respect to prayers, fasting, marriages, fighting, charity etc. In Mecca there were no restrictions on the act of compliance for the believers. Act of compliance To pray Restriction of the Act of Compliance No prayers when unclean and intoxicated. Act of compliance to Fast Restriction of the Act of Compliance Postpone when ill or journeying, feed poor if unable to fast. Act of compliance to marry Restriction of the Act of Compliance Surah Nissa Act of compliance to fight Restriction of the Act of Compliance Not to fight with those who have a treaty and in the forbidden months. Act of compliance To give in charity Restriction of the Act of Compliance Do not render in vain your Sadaqah (charity) by reminders of your generosity or by injury. Act of compliance To obey the parents Restriction of the Act of Compliance But if the twain strives to make thee associate with Me that of which thou hast no knowledge, OBEY THEM NOT. And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not with them near Al-Masjid-al-Haram, unless they (first) fight you there. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers. 2191 The verse is revealed in Medina and Masjid Al Haram is miles away from it. Is it not surprising? The corruptors forgot that the verse itself is authorizing the believers to kill the disbelievers WHEREVER they are found and therefore there are no restrictions in respect of place. There is no word ILLA ie. Except in the verse but the verse further continues with AND. If we rely on the corrupted translation then Believers are barred to fight AT the Masjid Al Haram but are permitted to fight if they are attacked IN the Masjid Al Haram. As explained before that there was no Masjid Al Haram and therefore the believers of Madina entering the Kaaba and praying in front of the idols and the disbelievers attacking them, sounds funny And kill them WHEREVER you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And fight not them when in the restriction of the act of compliance unless they (first) fight you in it. But if they attack you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers The restriction of no fighting in the four prohibited months is to be observed by the believers, but if the disbelievers fight in the restricted months then the believers are commanded to kill those who attacked them. And perform properly (i.e. all the ceremonies according to the ways of Prophet Muhammad SAW), the Hajj and 'Umrah (i.e. the pilgrimage to Makkah) for Allah. But if you are prevented (from completing them), sacrifice a Hady (animal, i.e. a sheep, a cow, or a camel, etc.) such as you can afford, and do not shave your heads until the Hady reaches the place of sacrifice. And whosoever of you is ill or has an ailment in his scalp (necessitating shaving), he must pay a Fidyah (ransom) of either observing Saum (fasts) (three days) or giving Sadaqah (charity - feeding six poor persons) or offering sacrifice (one sheep). Then if you are in safety and whosoever performs the 'Umrah in the months of Hajj, before (performing) the Hajj, (i.e. Hajj-at-Tamattu' and Al-Qiran), he must slaughter a Hady such as he can afford, but if he cannot afford it, he should observe Saum (fasts) three days during the Hajj and seven days after his return (to his home), making ten days in all. (DHAALIKA LI- MAN LAM YAKUN 'AHL -HU H.AAD.IRE AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM) This is for him whose family is not present at Al-Masjid-al-Haram (i.e. non-resident of Makkah). And fear Allah much and know that Allah is Severe in punishment. 2196 HAADIR = present attending ready prepared current present to take part participate the present the present time this moment today now Masjid is not a dwelling or a residential place. If Allah did mean residing, dwelling or living then He would have put the proper word in the verse YUSKAN YUQTAN YUQEM YAEESH and not HAADIR therefore HAADIR does not mean non-resident of Mecca. Moreover Masjid Al Haram is not a city or town or a village so that it becomes a dwelling place. The families who are present in the Masjid Al Haram, what are they doing and for what they have come? When this verse was revealed there was only the stone structure in Mecca called Kaaba and there was no such mosque called Masjid Al Haram. Why should there be a Masjid when there were no believers in Mecca to pray. The believer who is on the pilgrimage and fails to find HAADI then he should fast three days in the Hajj and seven days after returning from Hajj and it is for those whose family is not present in the Restrictions of the Act of compliance. Thus We appointed you a balanced people that you might be witness over the nations and the messenger a witness over you and not appointed the Qiblah which is upon them, except to know who follows the messenger from those who turn on their heels although it was undoubtedly tremendous / enormous except to those who are guided by Allah. And never would Allah make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness Most Merciful. 2143 After migrating from Mecca Allah fixed restrictions on the acts of compliances and it was a test of the believers who followed the prophet. There were some believers who were not ready for the restrictions in the initial stages and only those who were guided by Allah immediately accepted the new restrictions (Masjid Al Haram). There were restrictions appointed in marriage, prayers, fasting, charity, war, obedience to parents, etc. YAS'ALON -KA cAN ASH- SHAHR AL- H.ARAAM QITAAL FE -HI QUL QITAAL FE -HI KABER WA- S.ADD cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH WA- KUFR BI- -HI WA- AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM WA- IKHRAAJ 'AHL -HI MIN -HU AKBAR cINDA 'ALLAAH WA- AL- FITNAH AKBAR MIN AL- QATL WA- LAA YAZAALON YUQAATILON -KUM H.ATTAA YARUDDO -KUM cAN DEN -KUM 'IN ISTAT.AAcO WA- MAN YARTADD MIN -KUM cAN DEN -HI FA- YAMOT WA- HUWA KAAFIR FA- 'OLAA'IKA H.ABIT.AT AcMAAL -HUM FE AD- DUNYAA WA- AL- 'AAKHIRAH WA- 'OLAA'IKA AS.H.AAB AN- NAAR HUM FE -HAA KHAALIDON 2217 They ask you concerning fighting in the Sacred Months, "Fighting therein is a great (transgression) but a greater (transgression) with Allah is to prevent mankind from following the Way of Allah, to disbelieve in Him, to prevent access to Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah), and to drive out its inhabitants, and Al-Fitnah is worse than killing. And they will never cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion (Islamic Monotheism) if they can. And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever." 2217 Yasalon Ka An Ash Shahr Al Haram they ask thee concerning the prohibited months Qitaal Fe Hi fighting in it Qul Qitaal Fe Hi Kaber say fighting in it is great (transgression) Wa Sadd An Sabeel Allah and to keep away from the way of Allah Wa Kufr Bi Hi and disbelieve in it (way of Allah) Wa Al Masjid Al Haram and the Masjid Al Haram Wa Ikhraj Ahl Hi and drive out its people Min Hu Akbar Inda Allah from it is greatest (transgression) near Allah Wa Al Fitnah Akbar Min Al Qatl and seduction is greater than the killing The correct translation would be To keep away from the path of Allah and to disbelieve IN IT (the path of Allah) and the Masjid Al Haram and expelling its followers (Sabeel Allah and Masjid Al Haram) from it (path of Allah and Masjid Al Haram). Disbelieving in the path of Allah and Masjid Al Haram and expelling its people from it is the message of the verse but according to the corruptors it becomes Preventing access to the path of Allah, DISBELIEVING IN ALLAH Preventing access to Masjid Al Haram And to drive out its (Masjid Al Haram) INHABITANTS. The translators omitted the words MIN HU (from it) in their translation What is disbelieving in the Masjid Al Haram? Who are the people of Masjid Al Haram? When were the believers first expelled from the Masjid Al Haram? When did the believers take control of the stone structure, before the revelation of this verse or after its revelation and after how many years? We can expel / drive out people from their Houses from their towns, cities etc but how could we expel / drive out the people of a mosque from the mosque when there was no mosque and when they never entered it. According to the verse it is (KABIR) great transgression to fight in the forbidden months and it is (AKBAR) greatest transgression to keep away from the WAY OF ALLAH to DISBELIEVE in the WAY OF ALLAH and the RESTRICTIONS OF THE ACT OF COMPLIANCE and to drive the PEOPLE who follow the WAY OF ALLAH and follow the RESTRICTIONS OF THE ACT OF COMPLIANCE from it. WA KUFR BI HI And disbelieve in Him Is the above meaning correct? Is it disbelieving in Allah or disbelieving IN IT (The way of Allah) WA- KUFR BI- does not mean DISBELIEVE IN ALLAH but disbelieve in it Because the subject before KUFR BI HI is not Allah but the way of Allah therefore it is disbelieving in the way of ALLAH and not in Allah and it further continues "and the Masjid Al Haram", therefore it is disbelieving in the way of Allah and the Masjid Al Haram. If it is disbelieving in the MASJID AL HARAM then how it is possible to disbelieve in the physical Masjid Al Haram, which was not there, when this verse was revealed. And moreover what is disbelieving in the physical Masjid Al Haram. There was no disbelieving of the disbelievers in the stone structure, as they were totally devoted to it. PHYSICAL Masjid Al Haraam is a place of prayer and NOT A PLACE OF DWELLING so that its INHABITANTS could be driven out. O you who believe! Fulfill (your) obligations. Lawful to you (for food) are all the beasts of cattle except that which will be announced to you (herein), game (also) being unlawful when you (ANTUM H.URUM) assume Ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah (pilgrimage). Verily, Allah commands that which He wills O you who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the Symbols of Allah, nor of the Sacred Month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlanded people or animals, etc. , nor the ('AAMMEN) people coming to the Sacred House (Makkah), seeking the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when you ('IDHAA H.ALALTU) finish the Ihram (of Hajj or 'Umrah), you may hunt, and let not the hatred of some people in (once) stopping you from Al?Masjid?al?Haram (at Makkah) lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help you one another in Al?Birr and At?Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment. 51/2 The translators are playing with the fire by misleading the masses with their intentional wrong translation. HURUM assume Ihram for Hajj or 'Umrah (pilgrimage) AAMEN people 'IDHAA H.ALALTU when you finish the Ihram (of Hajj or 'Umrah), If HURUM is assume Ihram for Hajj or Umrah. Then what is? But when the (ASHHUR AL- H.URUM) forbidden months are past then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity then open the way for them for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful. 95 The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year) so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are (H.URUM) sacred; that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein and fight the pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves. 936 According to the translators the verse 95 would read like this But when the month of Ihram and Hajj are past. And verse 936 would read like this of them four are Ihram or Hajj According to the translators HURUM in some verse is Sacred, HURUM in some verse is Ihram for Hajj or Umrah, HURUM in some verse is forbidden. What is the root word of HURUM? It is HARAAM Again you will notice that HARAAM according to them in some verse is forbidden and in some verse it is Sacred. The meaning goes on changing with every verse and thus making Quran an ambiguous book. This verse is related to hunting and not Hajj or Umrah. Those who are on pilgrimage do not go for hunting and moreover only a fool will believe that Mecca is good hunting ground. O ye who believe! violate not the sanctity of the Symbols of Allah nor of the PROHIBITED MONTHS nor the (HADY) ANIMALS OF KILLING nor the (QALAAID) ENTRUSTED WITH THE RULE (of the Bayt / place) nor the (AAMEN) FAITHFUL / GUARDIANS of the (AL BAYT AL HARAAM) PROHIBITIONS OF THE BAYT / PLACE seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are (HALAL) ALLOWED ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) keeping you away from the (MASJID AL HARAAM) restrictions of the act of compliance lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety but help ye not one another in sin and rancor fear Allah for Allah is strict in punishment. When hunting is forbidden for the believers, they should adhere to it and they must not violate the sanctity of the prohibited months of no hunting, the animals of killing, those who are entrusted with the ruling and those who are guardians of the prohibitions of the Bayt / place. And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad SAW) are amongst them, nor will He punish them while they seek (Allah's) Forgiveness. And why should not Allah punish them while they (YAS.UDDON cAN) stop (men) from Al-Masjid-al-Haram, and they are not its protectors? None can be its protector except Al-Muttaqun, but most of them know not. 834 Verily! Those who disbelieve and (YAS.UDDON cAN SABEL 'ALLAH) hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there . And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment. 2225 They are the ones who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and (S.ADDO -KUM cAN AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM) hindered you from Al?Masjid?al?Haram (the sacred mosque of Makkah) and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom you did not know, that you may kill them, and on whose account a sin would have been committed by you without (your) knowledge, that Allah might bring into His Mercy whom He will, if they (the believers and the disbelievers) should have been apart, We verily had punished those of them who disbelieved, with painful torment. 4825 SADD = to repel repulse drive back or away keep off or back to force out put out SADD cAN = to turn away from avoid keep away from No one will notice the corruptions of the translators in the above verses while reading the Quran in a normal way. But a keen observation of some crucial words in the above verses will immediately expose the evils of the translators. In the above three verses two very important words are used YUSADDON cAN (they keep (MEN) away from) and SADDO KUM cAN (kept YOU away from) Lets have a look in other verses of the Quran and see how the translators have translated YAS.UDDON cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH Hindered (MEN) from the Path of Allah 745 836 847 934 1119 143 2225 WA- LAA YAS.UDDUNNA -KA cAN 'AAYAAT 'ALLAAH And let them not turn YOU (O Muhammad SAW) away from (preaching) the Ayat 2887 WA YAS.UDDO -KUM cAN DHIKR 'ALLAAH And hinder YOU from the remembrance of Allah 591 AN YAS.UDDO -KUM cAN MAA KAANA YAcBUD 'AABAA' -KUM to hinder YOU from that which your fathers used to worship 3443 WA- HUM YAS.UDDON cAN AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM While they stop (MEN) from Al-Masjid-al-Haram 834 WA- 'INNA -HUM LA- YAS.UDDON -HUM cAN AS- SABEL And verily, they (Satans / devils) hinder THEM from the Path (of Allah) 4337 WA- LAA YAS.UDDANNA -KUM ASH- SHAYT.AAN ' And let not Shaitan (Satan) hinder YOU 4362 WA- RA'AYTA -HUM YAS.UDDON WA- HUM MUSTAKBIRON And you would see them turning away THEIR faces in pride. 635 WA- S.ADDO cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH And hinder (MEN) from the Path of Allah 4167 99 1333 1688 471/32/34 AN S.ADDO -KUM cAN AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM Stopping YOU from Al?Masjid?al?Haram (at Makkah) 52 WA- S.ADDO -KUM cAN AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM And hindered YOU from Al?Masjid?al?Haram 4825 According to the corruptors WA- S.ADDO cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH And hinder (MEN) from the Path of Allah AN S.ADDO -KUM cAN AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM And hindered YOU from Al?Masjid?al?Haram When S.ADDO alone is used it is translated as Hinder (MEN) (MEN is used in brackets) When S.ADDO is used with KUM it is translated as Hinder YOU The (MEN) in the bracket is the corruption. Because S.ADD means = to repel repulse drive back or away keep off or back to force out put out to turn away from keep away from The verse 2225 was revealed in Medina and addressed to the people of Medina and Allah says that the people of Medina will not be punished while prophet was amongst them and further Allah is justifying His punishment saying that the people of Medina would be punished because THEY kept away from the Masjid Al Haram. The translators in the bracket added (MEN) in their translation to prove that the disbelievers kept away the BELIEVERS (and not themselves) from the Masjid AL Haram, but the fact is beyond belief to the Muslims who believe that Masjid Al Haram is a physical mosque. Note the word KUM missing in the verse to mean YOU. Allah will punish the disbelievers for turning away from Masjid Al Haram. Keeping away from the path of Allah and disbelieving in it and the Masjid Al Haram and driving out its followers is the greatest sin near Allah; verse 2217; Allah will punish the disbelievers (of Medina) for keeping away from the Masjid Al Haram; verse 834 The disbelievers did not believe in the path of Allah and did not believe in the Masjid Al Haram and at the same time tried their best to keep the believers away from the path of Allah and Masjid Al Haram. Now the question arises why the disbelievers of Mecca and Medina disbelieved in the Masjid Al Haram and kept away from it. If Kaaba was Masjid Al Haram then the disbelievers neither disbelieved in it nor kept away from it, as they were totally devoted to it. 'INNA 'ALLADHENA KAFARO WA- YAS.UDDON cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH WA- AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM 'ALLADHE JAcALNAA -HU LI- AN- NAAS SAWAA' AL- cAAKIF FE -HI WA- AL- BAADI WA- MAN YURID FE -HI BI- ILH.AAD BI- Z.ULM NUDHIQ -HU MIN cADHAAB 'ALEM 2225 Verily! Those who disbelieve and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and from Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) which We have made (open) to (all) men, the dweller in it and the visitor from the country are equal there . And whoever inclines to evil actions therein or to do wrong (i.e. practise polytheism and leave Islamic Monotheism), him We shall cause to taste a painful torment. 2225 SADD = to repel repulse drive back or away keep off or back to force out put out ????? ?? to turn away from avoid keep away from cAAKIF = to devote or dedicate oneself to to engage in to be engaged in occupied with BAADI = to perish pass away be extinct ILHAADI = Atheistic ILHAAD = infidelity atheism MALHAD = infidel atheist 'INNA 'ALLADHENA KAFARO Verily those who disbelieve WA- YAS.UDDON cAN SABEL 'ALLAAH WA- AL- MASJID AL- H.ARAAM And keep away from the way of Allah and the Masjid Al Haram ' ALLADHE JAcALNAA -HU LI- AN- NAAS Which we have appointed for the people SAWAA' AL- cAAKIF FE -HI WA- AL- BAADI Equal are the dedicated in it and the perished WA- MAN YURID FE -HI BI- ILH.AAD BI- Z.ULM And whosoever seeks in it infidelity with oppression NUDHIQ -HU MIN cADHAAB 'ALEM We shall taste him of our painful punishment Equal are the dedicated IN the Masjid Al Haram and those who perished IN IT. How can someone be dedicated / devoted IN the physical Masjid Al Haram and how can someone perish IN the physical Masjid Al Haram How could somebody seek infidelity and oppression in the physical Masjid Al Haram? FOUR WORDS ARE CORRUPTED IN THE TRANSLATION JAcALNAA = made (open) cAAKIF = dweller BAADI = visitor ILH.AAD = evil actions How could the way of Allah be made? The way of Allah is appointed and not made (open) for men. How could the physical Masjid Al Haram be appointed? The physical Masjid Al Haram is built or made and not appointed But Allah says 'ALLADHE JAcALNAA -HU LI- AN- NAAS Which We have appointed for the people Did Allah make the path and the Masjid Al Haram or appointed both. If it is made then the path cannot be made and if it is appointed then physical Masjid cannot be appointed. Therefore the way of Allah and the Masjid Al Haraam both are appointed and not made. REFERENCES FROM QURAN FOR cAAKIF When he said to his father and his people "What are these images, to which you are (cAAKIFON) devoted?" 2152 They had said "We will not abandon this cult but we will (cAAKIFEN) devote ourselves to it until Moses returns to us. 2091 Moses said "Then go away! And verily, your (punishment) in this life will be that you will say "Touch me not; and verily, you have a promise that will not fail. And look at your ilah (god), to which you have been devoted. We will certainly burn it, and scatter its particles in the sea." 2097 They said "We worship idols, and to them we are ever (cAAKIFEN) devoted." 2671 There is a vast difference between a devoted / dedicated and a dweller. A mosque is not the place to live to be called a dwelling place. Remember the way of Allah and the Masjid Al Haraam is appointed for the PEOPLE (NAAS) and not for Muslims. The People of the Book who knew the (Qiblah) Masjid Al Haraam more than their sons (verse 2146) are the people who have perished in it and they are equal with the present believers who are dedicated in it.

Peace be upon all readers, It had struck me as odd as a child that we say the proper name of Satan at the beginning of prayers albeit adding that he is rejected. This is based on 1698 When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in GOD from Satan the rejected. Fa-itha qara/ta alqur-ana faistaAAith biAllahi mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi The present formula for fulfilling this is "aAAoothu billahi mina alshshaytani alrrajeemi" which uses a portion of 1698; however I noticed a while ago an actual "Say" type verse that may be the more accurate way of fulfilling the command of 1698 2397 Say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. Waqul rabbi aAAoothu bika min hamazati alshshayateeni 2398 "And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me." WaaAAoothu bika rabbi an yahdurooni Peace.

Moderators please leave this message on general issues as its scope is far greater than merely quran translation. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash SHA1 Peace to all readers, In an unrelated discussion recently a brother brought it to my attention that 171 may not actually refer to Muhammad at all and instead refers to Moses. I have examined this closely and recommend it for your attention as this is actually an enormously important verse as far as the God alone message goes. It debunks so much hadith literature as well as concepts of the masjid-al-haram being in Mecca that I believe this issue is one of the single most important things to address right now. Observe 171 Most glorified is the One who summoned His servant (Muhammad) during the night, from the Sacred Masjid (of Mecca) to the farthest place of prostration,* whose surroundings we have blessed, in order to show him some of our signs. He is the Hearer, the Seer. Note that the (parentheses) are throwing this verse into an entirely different meaning. One which is uncritically accepted and given further subtle support with the following verse 172 Similarly, we gave Moses the scripture, and rendered it a beacon for the Children of Israel that "You shall not set up any idol as a Lord and Master beside Me." It is not "similarly" at all. It is simply 'and' at the beginning of the sentence. Moreover the messenger mentioned adjacent to 171 is Moses. There are two additional clues as to why this verse may be related to Moses rather than Muhammad. If one examines the more detailed calling of Moses in surah 20 one finds 2012 "I am your Lord; remove your sandals. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwaa. God calls on Moses; compare verses like 7142, 251 where Moses is again summoned. The land that Moses is on is blessed and this is certainly similar to the concept of blessed surroundings in 171 2023 "We thus show you some of our great portents. Moses is actually shown many signs of God. The staff turning to a snake, the white hand, the mountain crumbling, and the tablets. Thus Moses is shown some of the signs - even the greatest signs (al kubra). The evidence is clearly quite strong. I leave it to you to consider this possibility as this would require you to think more carefully on other issues. Salam All, I would like to talk to all and get some feedback about this idea... I believe it will help push the miracle/symbolism interpretation debate ahead somewhat. While arguing here and there in the various threads running on this forum about whether the "miracle" verses are allegorical or literal, I realized that I had trouble passing the simple idea that a verse in the text could carry several meanings all of which can be true. If one meaning is proven correct, the other meaning, or meanings, need not necessarily be false. I would like to make this clear by means of what I believe to be a great and clear example of multi layered meaning in the Quran. Before the multi-layer stuff, I'd like to say something about the debate itself. I posted a few times here and there arguing, mainly with Brother Joe, that the metamorphosis of a stick into a snake is not all that crazy phenomena and that we could possibly discover someday laws that could account for it. Brother Joe's position is If you cannot prove it, forget it, or else you risk being a blind-faith believer. I concluded my debate, kind of, by simply accepting "blind-faith" as a label to describe my faith. I seriously do not see any problem with that, I also claimed that all scientists in the history if mankind carry but the same kind of belief, but's another issue. What I'd like to add is that I personally believe the literal interpretation to be scientifically superior to the allegorical one, for the simple reason that in fact the first one could in principle be verified by science, while the second one can never be, for Moral is not in the domain of science to begin with, but I still do not reject the allegorical meanings in principal. There is a wonderful article out there in the web about consistency or coherence in the Quran where I first read what is going to follow here, I googled a lot but could not find it... I will keep searching and post a URL once I find it. There is a verse in the Quran that says "Do they not consider the Quran? Had it been from any other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy." This verse has a meaning that everyone immediately sees, the Quran, it claims, has no discrepancies in it. If it did, then one could reject the fact that it is from God. the word "discrepancy" in the verse, in Arabic "ikhtilaf" is understood to refer to whatever meanings you'd find in a dictionary. A second layer of meaning for the above verse takes the word "discrepancy" to mean "the word discrepancy", the word itself. this is called meta-language in linguistics, I believe, when language refers to itself. When one searches for the occurrences of the word "discrepancy" in the Quran, one finds only one such occurrence, in this verse itself. thus the second meaning becomes, "the word discrepancy in the Quran does not occur many times", for in fact it never occurs at all, besides this very occurrence. Now, the meta-language meaning is true, and so is the first meaning. The verse could still be studied, and will be, and could be revealed to support additional layers of meaning. all of these extra meaning disturb in no way the first, straightforward, meaning of the verse. To show that the above mathematical feature in the text is not random, someone searched for additional meta-language references in the text that could qualify, and sure enough he found many. In the Quran there are verses that say that something is equal or unequal to something else. like Jesus is like Adam, or those who know are unlike those who do not know. He, I believe the discovery was made by a Canadian Christian scholar, discovered that the pattern persists with an amazing consistency. when the verse says X is like Y and the number of occurrence of X is N then the number of occurrence of Y is also N. When the verse says X is unlike Y, then number of occurrence of X is N then the number of occurrence of Y is constantly N+1, except for one case, where the verse actually predicts the phenomenon and comments on it. To get back to the "miracle" verses I would say that the literal interpretation is the first layer of meaning, the allegorical interpretation is another layer and there could yet be other layers. So we need not debate as if only when layer is possible. I personally believe the literal meaning to be correct, despite that fact that science has not yet discovered any law that could account for them, but then again science does not have, as of yet, any laws that account, explain, the origin of life, complexity and organization, as in DNA and human mind and intelligence or creation of something out of nothing or why is there something rather than nothing and so on... things the Quran states as facts. Peace, Mohamed~

this is a copy and paste from another thread thi si a more proper place for the topic .... this verse is misunderstood by many....particularly koranaloners misunderstood it being conditioned by traditional objections and abusing of the verse... I desagree with the FM translation, the arabic text is my only reference To translate word for word this part ...and those who are well founded in knowledge say ?We believe in it, all is from our Lord.? waalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albabi Who say "We believe in it, all is from our Lord." ? the response is those who are well founded in knowledge. To put a point between 'waalrrasikhoona fee alAAilmi' and 'yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albabi' makes the meaning of the second part incomplete. I do not know perfect translations, the Arabic text must remain the only reference ) "But none know its interpretation except God" Peace Marie peace marie all marie....your claims are more sound and your understanding is more natural and obvious...i am not so much knowledgeable in arabic to claim it is( syntacticaly speaking) the only valid reading...but when reading in arabic and when studying the verse it is a far more logical and consistent from the other understanding....the obvious message of the verse is that no one know its interpretation except The God.. however this verse and its sentences shouldnt be studied in isolation....thus the fact that knowlegeable are excluded from knowing interpretation is to be put into proper place...and into context of what the verses is saying....and particularly what the book as a whole is saying... knowledgeable also can know but only through The God, that is, through previously mentioned well aimed signs/words/ayats... and no one know its meaning is but an emphasizing that the leading role in defining the book`s meaning is to be given to the well-aimed/decisive words which The God calls leading part/prototype/basis of the book...and not to the ambiguous or undecisive sayings....as wavering hearst do...and because of that The god condemns them in the verse...(this condemnation would be meaningless if knowlegeable are included in knowing the interpretation...) this is the similar case as the cases of knowing gayb...or being able to guide or being able to interceed in behalf of someone... knowledge of gayb and right to interceed and power to guide belongs solely to God ... that is repeatedly stated throughout the book...however , the knowledgeable or believers, as we also read in the book, can also do all these things but only through The God or his words ... since his words are his representatives... well aimed sentences are the real representatives of the book`s stance on every topic since ambiguous statements can be interpreted differently and consequently abused...that is koran should be explained by koran...this is what the verse is saying... best wishes Zlatan
