    Peace
4200 belief in earth are idolizing God by human interpretation (including Quran)manipulated words of God for politics and human desires which is root of such such tyrannous manner when they can read and write and show their crimes by this screen.
I came to this forum for showing what witnessed and gone through many discussions, unfortunately educated one are locked into their taught for years and are insisting of their understanding the messages, parroting their parents and teachers that has created such tarnishing name for Islam and Quran.

Few years ago I started a topic that why this forum logo is God Alone and not metioning Quran Alone ?
I was banned for one month and finally I have reached to same conclusion but much bolder and straight open.

    Bookless God
This is my last post in this forum
Peace and wish best for you

Oh, that was unexpected, brother Bahman. You have your way with numbers, but I did not think that you were that fed up with people.

I am in a similar seat as you except about my controversial letter-by-letter interpretation method. I never put myself into your interlocking, but I tried to keep my respect for you. I am also slightly tired of all naive criticism and distrust, but I try to use the Iranian expression "Khaste nabash" on myself and keep working for the sake of God.

Technically speaking, the living Quran is not a book, so no, we don't need a book. Although it's not necessary, we have been given a gift and should try to learn as much as possible. I am interested in the so-called seven layers of understanding of the Quran.

Nay, one does not need a book to consent/acknowledge his (rightful) Master/Owner . What one really needs, however, is a sound mind (QA ).

As for the Quranic zkr, my understanding is that it plays the role of G-D's promised guidance (to humanity) ~ see 238 One ought to follow its directions IF he/she seeks (to progress on) the right track (QA ).

            Good reference, brother hicham

And then I mean . I deliberately separated the word to highlight the root in there. It is a good translation/definition there. I argue that as a root means sound/firm, and Arabic words only have one meaning...

            refers to heart/conscience.

              Thank you my brother,

I am truly heartened to know that we share a common understanding (of the Quranic terms in question). The (semitic) root slm is indeed related to soundness, wholeness, or healthiness And qlb can be translated as 'heart' the inner core/center which is responsible for our thoughts and feelings; ie. the seat of the faculty of reason ~ the mind]

Arabic in Quran is really unique. And so misunderstood.

I think people too rarely ponder upon how this language actually works intrinsically. It is very abstract and on spiritual level and has special markers when it is concrete vs. abstract. Words very literally say what they want to say, in the way of a mental image.

And its letters exist in Hebrew with the same meaning albeit different symbols. And Hebrew has different grammar and words although not entirely foreign.

                Arabic feels like Hebrew 2.0.

Books are good, but there is no exclusive book, and one should not stare themselves blind with any of them, and most importantly they must make sure they follow the proper interpretation.

Does God need a book to guide us?
                          NO

Does God only guide us through a book? or series of books?
                          NO

Do we NEED a book to receive guidance from God?
                          NO

Do we NEED a book to live a good life?

Can a book or some books guide us to live a good life?
                          YES

If I believe totally in a book, do I need to reject other books as my guidance?
                          NO

Do we need books to believe in God?
                          NO

Very well put. I completely agree.

Is there anyone here who disagrees with what Jafar said? I'd like to know that. I think this is one issue we can all have consensus on.

While I agree with some of what jafar has said, GOD sends "words/scripture/..." to teach us and guide us

                                237
Then, Adam received from his Lord words, whereby He redeemed him. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

So the fact remains we have a "book" from GOD, regardless .

                                    Peace,

Folks believe in God and believe that Jesus is God or God is nature or
God and the devil are equal or that God needs people to sacrifice virgins
or children or the sun is God or pharaoh is God and many other
                                    misconceptions about God.

Reason for the quran To correct misconceptions and to guide.

16/63 By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before
you, but the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he is
their guardian today, and they shall have a painful punishment.

16/64 And We have not revealed to you the Book except that you may
make clear to them that about which they differ, and (as) a guidance
and a mercy for a people who believe.

Ex. to the Jews Yes, Jesus is indeed the messiah, To the Christians
No, Jesus is not Allah,to the christians will you reject Muhammad as
                                    the jews rejected Jesus?

When this scripture came to them from GOD, and even though
it agrees with, and confirms what they have, and even though they
used to prophesy its advent when they talked with the disbelievers,
when their own prophecy came to pass, they disbelieved therein.
                                    GOD's condemnation thus afflicts
                                    the disbelievers.

                                    Quran The Ultimate Reference

Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous
scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance
with GOD's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the
truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different
rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He
thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you.
You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny?all of you?
then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.

                                    God bless

Past people are not our concern. They were exposed to other messages?GOD knows about them and will deal with them with justice. Since Adam,GOD has been sending messages with messengers? We cannot comment as we do not know what they received?

We live in the present and We have Qoran.

                                        Peace Osman.

Past people are not our concern. They were exposed to other messages?GOD knows about them and will deal with them with justice. Since Adam,GOD has been sending messages with messengers? We cannot comment as we do not know what they received?

We live in the present and We have Qoran.

                                        GOD bless you.
                                        Peace.

There are many people right here right now, billions in fact who have not been exposed.
