Hawk99,
This does not have anything to do with belief so yes this person is no believer.
Peace Man of Faith
If you would notice I said a casual observer may conclude that such a person
would not be a believer.Muslim means to be a sound person so I take it as a compliment, although still not because I know you do not really know what you are talking about.
Be well
So how would you translate, or how do you understand 49/14?
One can submit, accept, resign to, acknowledge, conform to the tenets of Islam (Muslim)
which are indeed sound but why such grandiosity, nitpicking your own personal meaning?God bless

Hawk99,
It is a misconception that it is my meaning. If you browse quite very old lexicons on Arabic with the oldest even over 1000 years you can find the definitions which I am propagating, so they are hardly "my" meanings.
What I am saying is the Sustainer's meanings as used in the language of correspondence and hardly "my" words.
However, Arabic words seem to have multiple meanings due to lexicons, but that is a false fact. Arabic words mean only one general meaning due to that they speak descriptively by using their letters. It is thus fairly easy to learn Arabic, and Aramaic although the Arabic script is a great enhancement.
What you and many people are doing however is succumbing to ancient as well as contemporary scholars who do/did not really have any clue about what they were doing. That is by following these scholars without reflection whether they are/were really true or false.
What I am doing however is digging for the treasure and aiming to show it to the world without merely talking.
But you cannot say I am baseless because I am following a methodology and I use sources (e.g. lexicons) and I provide documentation on my Personal Computer. It is for the beholder themselves to decide whether they will accept it in the end, but the evidence is growing every day. You have not been able to change your mind based on circumstantial evidence, but one day in not a too far distant future you will have available the full reinterpretation of Quran as intended by the Author rather than one according to scholars without knowledge.
You see people around me, hafez kazi, Novice etc are already tagging along and doing their individual research on salat for they have discovered the inconsistency with many things including this so-called salat ritual and sometimes they point to things not even I had thought about.
But you like I have parroted many times accept praying birds and weirdly sounding passages to justify your pagan ritual (it is pagan because pagan means basically physical literally and not as insult).
It was Novice or Hafez Kazi who highlighted inconsistency with 56 the other day even using traditional grammar rules.
I continue to say. Wake up!
Be well

Peace Man of Faith so to add to the previous list we can say that you are not a believer?

Here you say Arabic words have no synonyms?
By the way, I ran across a word for murder or slay in Quran for you Thaal-Ba-Ha. That is an outright word for to slay someone.
Yes, Thaal-Ba-Ha means to slaughter, massacre and appears
to be synonymous with Q-T-L kill.Have you taken to the huruf, abjad sciences?
God bless you

hawk99,
Yes. I am a knower and not believer. Amen means to acknowledge something and not believe. Think/suppose/believe you have in . Look it up. For your information, in the real interpretation of Quran it is used negatively.
I know you think you are smart and I do not notice your attemps at eliciting and painting me in a bad weather.
Arabic has words with similar meaning.
But qatal means to DEFEAT, SUBDUE OR MASTER SOMEONE.
It can also refer to defeating someone in a discussion and make them submit your argument when they see you are right.
If you defeat someone and they die you need to specify it in Arabic or qatal means you just beat them so they cannot fight you back anymore or yield.

hawk99,
I know you think you are smart and I do not notice your attemps at eliciting and painting me in a bad weather.
On the contrary, you are the artist that is doing the painting,
I encourage you to give your opinions, how you respond is up to youYes. I am a knower and not believer.
Above you paint yourself as a non-believer, my words or yours?
hawk99,
Arabic has words with similar meaning.
However, Arabic words seem to have multiple meanings due to lexicons,
but that is a false fact. Arabic words mean only one general meaning due
to that they speak descriptively by using their letters.Which of your two statements are true, please explain.

The problem is, God may give us the upper hand one day, then another day give the upper hand to another view. The time may come where Man of Faith's views become the dominant view, and other people who deny it will be considered weirdos or whatever. This can happen in an instant or gradually over time or not at all.
In my view, neither what I say or do or what Man of Faith says or does or any of us has any real importance or meaning.
He is a knower, for certain, but I am not.
Whereas many of you know the truth clearly, to me there is practically no truth at all in existence.
Like the Assassin's Creed "There is no truth", which means to me there is not stability whatsoever, I have no confidence in any of this.
Honestly, tomorrow Man of Faith can have all the academic sources backing him up and confound all the deniers, this is an easy thing.
Our arguments are ultimately a joke. Whatever he says and whatever we say, or the results of any conflict or disagreement, are completely in the power of God as decider.
I could say all the goats in the world walk on two legs, and this could suddenly be a well known fact, or the Earth really could be made flat however idiotic it may seem now.
It could be that the rug is pulled from under our feet, our formal salat counts against us, and beer drinking becomes the way to paradise.
There is nothing to believe that is under God. God of the shifting sands, God of the weather. One day we say "it is sunny outside", within a few moments "it is dark now", then we say "it is warm", then we say "it is cold", then we say "it is windy", then we say "there is no wind", then we say "it is raining".
Everything we say is true for only a moment, then is rendered a lie, then a new truth comes along.
Just like the humans. "He is alive" "He is young" "He is strong" "He is old" "He is dead".
What was true? We are transitory, none of it is true, and then even later people wonder if "He was" ever at all! It can be made that anyone never even existed.
Suddenly, Hitler can be struck from all the records, from all history, or retained only in the minds of some, and then it is said to them they are just imagining things, there was no Hitler, there was no World War II, or Hitler can be just as he was except his little mustache doesn't exist anymore, and everyone knows him for his magnificent smile.
My God differs a bit perhaps from some of yours. My God can do what is not expected, or do exactly what is expected, and you can never be certain which. Even dice are more trustworthy, because dice appear to have a limited amount of probability, but my God is unbounded, so even the dice can be made untrustworthy, suddenly it can appear to have more than 6 sides, and just like a dream it can make sense.
Do any of you know my terrible God? Terrible meaning frightening, inducing terror.
You can be picking up some food, and underneath it can appear a cockroach, or what is in your hand is suddenly something else.
The Qur'an can say one thing one day, and another thing another day.
What ever will you put your faith in? Where will you find your stable footing?
Whatever Man of Faith says is true or false, false or true. One day he is in love, the other day he feels bad, then love bursts forth again, then again he feels some other mood. Same for any of us perhaps. Or we sit still, and we think we have had one mood all our life, good or bad, yet anyone who believes in the "truth" or puts their faith in anything, might be mistaken.
The rock, the Earth, Mecca, your supposed spirits, all may seem eternal to you one day, another day they may be as though they never existed at all, and try to hold on to them, try, you'll never be able to hold on to them. Lord of the sands that slip from your hands. Who can you embrace who doesn't turn to dust?
So from Man of Faith, we take whatever we take, and we act on his good counsel, listening carefully to his words as more of the words of God.
God who is the author of every book, director of every movie, the one who renders truth into lies, and lies into truth.
If you find your heart is firm, perhaps it is hardened? If you find your heart is like mine, perhaps you are a fool!
Know then that there is no other role in all the worlds under God, than that of a fool.
Though, who is a greater fool? One who knows it, or one who knows not.

Hawk99,
Yes. I do say things, but it is you who are sarcastic and like to make me look in bad weather.
Yes. Because knowing does replace "belief". Belief is not something to struggle for.
Arabic has several definitions stated, but that does not mean all are true.
I said SIMILAR meanings, not synonyms.
I think you are just picking on me like trolling. It is clear what I meant in my previous post without you asking that question. There are other words with similar but not identical meaning and one word has only one general meaning.
Be well

Man of Faith
I find your explanations erroneous and self serving, I simply
challenge your assertions, If I agreed with you would you
say I was trolling? What I believe I try to make clear and
what you believe I try to make clear. You agreed with this
Peace Man of Faith, correct me where I'm wrong, thus far you
do not believe in a defensive war, ritual salat, ritual fast, hajj, the qiblah
being Mecca, the Quran's general interpretation as it is today. You do believe
one can be one/meld/blend with the Rabb, you prefer use of the word
Rabb instead Allah, and you mention/inspired by Jesus more than Muhammad. You answered
I do not really do it because I prefer Rabb. I say it because allah
does not mean anything like Rabb.I know Jesus more than a person than Muhammad yes. Muhammad is a warlord
and warmonger and an unrighteous man according to tradition.
You become symbiont with the Rabb because it is like being connected to a
mainframe. No offense intended just a friendly debate. handshake
God bless

Okay. You are free to have those opinions, hawk99. But you are intending to make me look in a bad weather.
Self-serving they are not because they are backed up by the Sustainer. And I told you I am searching for evidence every day to complement the evidence that is there already.
I do not care if you agree with me or not, but one does not intentionally work to make a person appear in bad weather. And if they were wise they consider every possible input.
It is not like it would be rocket science to understand that such an old language as Arabic with words derived from an even older language called Aramaic would have "innate letter meanings". And if they have that it means words have only one general meaning too.

Peace FreedomStands, as usual your posts are too long for me, yes
therefore I do not bother to read them, only a casual glance.
From the little I did read I disagree with your premise that the truth "shifts."May Allah guide Us to the truth

Well, it is understandable that you might disagree, based on not reading what I wrote, where I prove extensively what my meaning is and the reasoning behind the statements.
My point was, had you read it, that God chooses what the "truth" is, and there is nothing stable on its own except God as the Ultimate Truth.
This is proven clearly in the Qur'an, where it was "true" that Musa was holding a staff, then it was "false" that Musa was holding a staff, and instead it was "true" that there was a snake instead, and then it was "false" that there was a snake, and "true" that there was a staff. This demonstrated that God can change anything, nothing is true except what God makes true, and all of those things can easily be shifted by God.
Am I wrong? Do you disagree with that?
All I was saying is God can shift the "truth", but the "Ultimate Truth" remains, which is God Alone.
Right?
So people take pride in all sorts of "truths" and "systems" and go mad over them, when God can shift anything, or is God incapable of that?
God controls all information. The laws of the Universe can suddenly be changed, and even history can be shifted entirely, this is the power of God.
Do you deny that, do you disagree then that God can shift and change the "truth"?
Maybe it is worth something to read whatever it is I wrote and see if I really am wrong.

So far I agree
So people take pride in all sorts of "truths" and "systems" and go mad over them, when God can shift anything, or is God incapable of that?
What people take pride in does not make that system,
opinion etc. true. nopeGod controls all information. The laws of the Universe can suddenly be changed,
and even history can be shifted entirely, this is the power of God.God indeed controls all things.
Maybe it is worth something to read whatever it is I wrote and see if I really am wrong.
Peace FreedomStands, thank you for one page out of one of your books! )
Allah is Al Haqq (the truth) and Allah does not change.Allah controls all things, but we do not. Can you alter reality
like God when he wills? (change a snake into a staff) or duplicate
any of the incursions into reality that are in Quran Kareem? our truth
is static good brother, there is only one!God bless you

Thank you, no I can't change or alter reality, only Allah can. I was just throwing in the suggestion that God can shock anyone by shifting things or suddenly making things that were not true to us appear to be true, or any number of things. So the end result is just to be wary of Allah, fear Allah, and know that only Allah is the Ultimate Truth, whereas all other things we think we see or know or believe can be shifted or transitory, and nothing can be held on to really. In some cases, Allah has convinced some people they are right when they might not be, or convinced others to view something as wrong (like how so many hate or dispute with Islam). So we just turn back to Allah in everything, the decider in all matters.
So in my speech, as you know there are people who believe the Earth is flat, who (if they are sincere) Allah has convinced of this, and can literally "prove" such a thing to all of us easily if Allah wills, making the whole topic arbitrary and vain (wasted).
For me, to consider such power of transformation, is a high meditation on Allah. I believe in science and whatever of course, and the situation that is at hand in my reality this moment as it appears to me, but I am just stating as an extra meditation on the power of Allah, that Allah can change anything too, so those who are obsessed with little "truths" (not you, I mean other people), are those who might not remember that Allah can change anything easily.
So I take it easy with Man of Faith. He is controlled by God, what he believes comes from God, and God can even make what he says seem true to any of us, but the better truth is always one God alone is the Greatest and Only Ultimate Truth, and God can shift anything freely with or without our awareness and convince anyone of anything.
