Just as a side note... a bit off-topic...
I find it fascinating that people get more emotionally upset from homosexuality than with all the killing, corruption and injustice going on. People will spit on homosexuals who do not disturb anyone, but they have no issues letting their children play GTA where you systematically run over people with your car, or any other shooting games or movies where murder is glorified.

I think the evidence we have from The Quran indicates they had consensual relationships, whether they were casual or monogamous.

      Please elaborate.

Lut offers them his daughters. He obviously would not be suggesting for these men to simply rape or have non-marital relations with his daughters. He was a prophet! Meaning he wouldn't be unsound as to offer his daughters to savage rape-driven molestors.

      I agree!

An interesting question would be what then be did the people of Lut mean by 1570
"Did not we forbid you from the world?"

Here I believe this rape/robbery/sinful culture was directed at
      "outsiders" (outside world)

        Soooo agreed

And if were such a "sin", Quran would have it pretty clear expressed

            • good. Did you believe in God Alone?

            • yes

            • good. Did you make bad to others?

            • no.

            • good. Did you discriminate human beings?

            • no.

I find it ridiculous, even more knowing that homosexuality is not a choice.

Depends how one sees "sin". If you think commiting sin means a -1 or a -2 in your account balance then maybe being "homosexual" isn't " such a sin".

However, if you think sin is all actions and behaviours that hinder you from the Divine Light, then maybe you'll know that there isn't such thing as "such a sin".

God has given us eyesight and hearing and hearts to understand what He says. That is what we seek. However,
some people expect God to make them a drawing of what is sinful and what is not.

So? Did God forget to send a revelation for such a capital sin??? He left us without clear signs?

I will admit it is not clear, although the "unclear" inclines me to believe it is not a sin. Then just let's dont judge and dont oppress and dont discriminate righteous people in other matters, believers or whatever you want (how do you know with whom others sleep), and leave that matter to the Merciful, the Best Judge

                        Salaaam peace

Same argument can be used against your opinion.
You or me have absolutely nothing to say about someone else's sexual preferences, it's not our business.

Do you think BELIEVERS care what X or Y has as a sexual preference ?

Believers know that, sexual or intimate acts should be made privately. First. Be it homosexuals or heterosexuals. Which is not the case in the societies where LGBT movement is a trend.

Second of all, you cannot project God's Laws on a perverted nudity-driven society.

Third of all, believers are too busy to care what you do in your spare time.

                              and finally, true believers support the Truth from God;

If in my opinion the Truth from God says homosexuality is a lewdness then it is, and that is my opinion, even if today's trend is about supporting homosexuality = "open-minded".

Just don't try to paint those who oppose your opinions as "close-minded" or "homophobic", that is freaking ridiculous and hypocrite.

No one is judging no one, if you ask me " Is Homosexuality ok" ? I'll replie "No". And that alone hurts many lost souls.

Absolutely agreed, and when I say homosexual i don't mean gay parade!

                                Agreed we disagree peace

I am really sorry if you thought such a thing, it was not my intention at all, and I apologize.

I was just saying that homosexuality is not an option, so I don't think the Merciful would create human beings pre condemned to suffering and making others suffer.

I insist I am not talking about gay parade and all that lately "being gay is cool" thing in modern societies. Licentciousness is wrong in all things, not only that.

No one is judging no one, if you ask me " Is Homosexuality ok" ? I'll replie "No". And that alone hurts many lost souls.

I am sorry but telling someone that he is a sin just being him/her self sounded to me like "judging".

That is why I said since it is not clear, let's just be cool and be understanding and try the best of ourselves and bless everybody who does good and believes no matter whom he /she loves and sleeps with because it is not our business peace

It doesn't concern us, but we still hold an opinion, whether we are supporting or not. And that also doesn't concern anyone, as long as we're not being discriminatory..."homophobic" people are discriminatory.
