Khalifa In the creation of the heavens and the earth, the alternation of night and day, the ships that roam the ocean for the benefit of the people, the water that GOD sends down from the sky to revive dead land and to spread in it all kinds of creatures, the manipulation of the winds, and the clouds that are placed between the sky and the earth, there are sufficient proofs for people who understand. Noble Verse(s) 006038 Yusuf Ali There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end. Transliteration Wama min dabbatin fee al-ardi wala ta-irin yateeru bijanahayhi illa omamun amthalukum ma farratna fee alkitabi min shay-in thumma ila rabbihim yuhsharoona Arberry No creature is there crawling on the earth, no bird flying with its wings, but they are nations like unto yourselves. We have neglected nothing in the Book; then to their Lord they shall be mustered. Khalifa All the creatures on earth, and all the birds that fly with wings, are communities like you. We did not leave anything out of this book. To their Lord, all these creatures will be summoned. Noble Verse(s) 011006 Yusuf Ali There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance dependeth on God He knoweth the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit All is in a clear Record. Transliteration Wama min dabbatin fee al-ardi illa AAala Allahi rizquha wayaAAlamu mustaqarraha wamustawdaAAaha kullun fee kitabin mubeenin Arberry No creature is there crawling on the earth, but its provision rests on God; He knows its lodging-place and its repository. All is in a Manifest Book. Khalifa There is not a creature on earth whose provision is not guaranteed by GOD. And He knows its course and its final destiny. All are recorded in a profound record. Noble Verse(s) 011056 Yusuf Ali "I put my trust in God, My Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its fore-lock. Verily, it is my Lord that is on a straight Path. Transliteration Innee tawakkaltu AAala Allahi rabbee warabbikum ma min dabbatin illa huwa akhithun binasiyatiha inna rabbee AAala siratin mustaqeemin Arberry Truly, I have put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord; there is no creature that crawls, but He takes it by the forelock. Surely my Lord is on a straight path. Khalifa "I have put my trust in GOD, my Lord and your Lord. There is not a creature that He does not control. My Lord is on the right path. Noble Verse(s) 016049 Yusuf Ali And to God doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living) creatures or the angels for none are arrogant (before their Lord). Transliteration Walillahi yasjudu ma fee alssamawati wama fee al-ardi min dabbatin waalmala-ikatu wahum la yastakbiroona Arberry To God bows everything in the heavens, and every creature crawling on the earth, and the angels. They have not waxed proud; Khalifa To GOD prostrates everything in the heavens and everything on earth - every creature - and so do the angels; without the least arrogance. Noble Verse(s) 016061 Yusuf Ali If God were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave, on the (earth), a single living creature but He gives them respite for a stated Term When their Term expires, they would not be able to delay (the punishment) for a single hour, just as they would not be able to anticipate it (for a single hour). Transliteration Walaw yu-akhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka AAalayha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum la yasta/khiroona saAAatan wala yastaqdimoona Arberry If God should take men to task for their evildoing, He would not leave on the earth one creature that crawls; but He is deferring them to a term stated; and when their term is come they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward. Khalifa If GOD punished the people for their transgressions, He would have annihilated every creature on earth. But He respites them for a specific, predetermined time. Once their interim ends, they cannot delay it by one hour, nor advance it. Noble Verse(s) 024045 Yusuf Ali And God has created every animal from water of them there are some that creep on their bellies; some that walk on two legs; and some that walk on four. God creates what He wills for verily God has power over all things. Transliteration WaAllahu khalaqa kulla dabbatin min ma-in faminhum man yamshee AAala batnihi waminhum man yamshee AAala rijlayni waminhum man yamshee AAala arbaAAin yakhluqu Allahu ma yashao inna Allaha AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun Arberry God has created every beast of water, and some of them go upon their bellies, and some of them go upon two feet, and some of them go upon four; God creates whatever He will; God is powerful over everything. Khalifa And GOD created every living creature from water. Some of them walk on their bellies, some walk on two legs, and some walk on four. GOD creates whatever He wills. GOD is Omnipotent. Noble Verse(s) 029060 Yusuf Ali How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is God who feeds (both) them and you for He hears and knows (all things). Transliteration Wakaayyin min dabbatin la tahmilu rizqaha Allahu yarzuquha wa-iyyakum wahuwa alssameeAAu alAAaleemu Arberry How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. Khalifa Many a creature that does not carry its provision, GOD provides for it, as well as for you. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient. Noble Verse(s) 031010 Yusuf Ali He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs. Transliteration Khalaqa alssamawati bighayri AAamadin tarawnaha waalqa fee al-ardi rawasiya an tameeda bikum wabaththa feeha min kulli dabbatin waanzalna mina alssama-i maan faanbatna feeha min kulli zawjin kareemin Arberry He created the heavens without pillars you can see, and He cast on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake with you, and He scattered abroad in it all manner of crawling thing. He established on earth stabilizers (mountains) lest it tumbles with you, and He spread on it all kinds of creatures. We send down from the sky water to grow all kinds of beautiful plants. Noble Verse(s) 035045 Yusuf Ali If God were to punish men according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature but He gives them respite for a stated Term when their Term expires, verily God has in His sight all His Servants. Transliteration Walaw yu-akhithu Allahu alnnasa bima kasaboo ma taraka AAala thahriha min dabbatin walakin yu-akhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman fa-itha jaa ajaluhum fa-inna Allaha kana biAAibadihi baseeran Arberry If God should take men to task for what they have earned He would not leave upon the face of the earth one creature that crawls; but He is deferring them to a stated term. But when their term is come -- surely God sees His servants. Khalifa (why is he here?) If GOD punished the people for their sins, He would not leave a single creature on earth. But He respites them for a predetermined interim. Once their interim is fulfilled, then GOD is Seer of His servants. Noble Verse(s) 042029 Yusuf Ali And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them and He has power to gather them together when He wills. Transliteration Wamin ayatihi khalqu alssamawati waal-ardi wama baththa feehima min dabbatin wahuwa AAala jamAAihim itha yashao qadeerun Arberry And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and the crawling things He has scattered abroad in them; and He is able to gather them whenever He will. Khalifa (why is he here?) Among His proofs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures He spreads in them. He is able to summon them, when He wills. Noble Verse(s) 045004 Yusuf Ali And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith. Transliteration Wafee khalqikum wama yabuththu min dabbatin ayatun liqawmin yooqinoona Arberry and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, Khalifa Also in your creation, and the creation of all the animals, there are proofs for people who are certain.

Terrific posts guys. Here is what i think whenever i feel down I believe this the point of no return for us. Nothing can stop us unless its destined. We all have a special purpose in life. Something great, something much greater than our everyday tasks and struggles. I believe every one of us has a unique talent inside of us, and we will discover it, if we search deeply enough. I have this huge force of energy inside of me that wants drop itself into the ocean of possibilities and start to contribute more than ever. The possibilities are almost endless for every one of us, as long as we keep an open mind and don?t limit ourselves. I have come to point where I?m putting the ego away, and trying to live for others as much as possible. The enjoyment we get from teaching and helping others, is the best enjoyment. I know that none of us can do everything, but everyone of us can do something. And we can make a difference. A fighter never gives up, even in the darkest nights. Nothing in this life can be hard since this life is an illusion. Quran 2860 And anything that is given to you is only the materialism of this world, and its glitter. And what is with God is far better, and everlasting. We should focus on the hereafter instead of this life. If we focus on the hereafter, everything would be easier Quran 632 This worldly life is nothing more than games and a diversion, and the abode of the Hereafter is far better for those who are righteous... Thanks House Md For your revelations on the definition. However I don't see how the exact meanings change anything. I am still intent on living my life doing good works whether it be a day of the deen system or judgemet or no day at all - it makes no difference in our practical lives - the message for doing good still remains the same. I was not arguing that it was day per se - I was using the term used in the Quran to highlight the matter being discussed. It is fruitless to fixate on the semantics of words when the focus should be on the message or throughts that are sought to be transmitted. Yet another attribute of intellect over-riding teh truth.

Though I do not consider anyone, including Muhammad, to be infallible or perfect, however, I find have no reason to believe in fabricated hadith about him. Besides, I have no doubt that as a role model, he had a much better characted then those hadith books suggest. Peace; Edip

Peace, respectfully. Sunnis in the Bosnia are different then sunnis in the Mid-East and the rest of the world. Since my parents come from Bosnia, i understand the mentality of sunnis in the Balcans, in Bosnia. They are not violent and the war they lost between 1992 and 1995 is the proof. I'm sure that if i went there to discuss with them why sunna and hadeeth are not part of Islam, they would talk to me in a normal manner and just reject my belief because they are nice people, too friendly with the enemy (Serbs, Croats) and they just need to pray to God AllPowerful to guide them and give them more strength and more wisdom. May Allah, The Most JUST have mercy on all of us, especially Bosnian women who were raped in front of their mothers. They suffered the most while US government just stood there and did nothing. Clinton did defend the sunnis but not as hard as one would hope and expect. Peace.

The secularists must at least have an idea of how best the world could become. Perhaps they are presently leading people towards such paradise. Let us enter and see this promised land. I suggest reading Black Mass by John Gray, it might answer some of these questions and then some.

Here are the meanings and occurrences for your own study It is my understanding that 'al wahyan' can reach us in various ways. Sometimes it is actual inner dialogue, others it is the mere sight of something that touches your heart. It is a hard thing to pin down, imo, since we're all so different and the communication is custom-tailored for each one of us. For me, making music, being in nature, being with loved one's, and hearfelt reaching out all provide me the inspirational link to my Creator. There are many other ways as well, but that's just to name a few. Your second q and behind barrier ? 'Barrier' is from 'hijabin'. Here are the meanings and occurrences The hidden communication can also mean many things. It really is best that you ponder on the concept and let it come to you rather than have others plant seeds. Just think about ways in which you feel/felt God's presence or communication that were unexpected or perhaps deeper within a specific circumstance or thought. Lastly and by sending messengers ? This one's pretty obvious, no? The messengers of past were liasons, presenting God's truth in plain black and white for us. Some of those messages have been preserved and others have not. However, I don't rule out the messengers greeting us every day in various forms. Anyone delivering truth that resonates is, in that moment, a messenger. Overall, I believe the ayah is beautiful in it's explanation that God communicates with us constantly, in every possible way we can receive it - in spoken word, in direct one-on-one inspiration, and in hidden forms. It's reminding us to remain open to it, to keep a look out. We're surrounded by it - all we need to do is pay attention. I see these two groups as violent ones because i have never seen thier followers or members praying, reading Qur'an, giving charity (not that i would want to), i haven't seen them helping the poor, inviting to Islam, i haven't seen them just being peacful, i haven;t seen them being Islamic, Quranic men and women, i have seen them only when they want to kill, destroy or make threats. Now, it's true, TV stations need to make things bigger then they are in order to make you watch, but they are not far from ther truth, God knows best. God knows best. Maybe we should contact them and ask them few questions regarding this and see what comes back - person with an answer or a person with a killer jacket. May God helps us all. God bless you all. Salam, Respectfully. Hadith followers ... what more can we say? They were raised like that, to believe like this, to dress like that and have beards or eat onlt at the places where it is halal meat ..... Today's scholars are like agents from the Matrix. They want control and they get it because people like Cipher simply like, no, wait, love that kind of life. Why? Why would anyone love a lie knowing it is a lie? Well, it is like with today's Christians they feel safe and secure thinking that Jesus will take their sins so they kill, gamble, fornicate and rape. Not all the Christians but to name some George Bush, ..... you know, people who see religion as a game. I have nothing against Christians nor against hadith followers because soon they might become true and real Muslims, God willing. Peace. You find that those who say that 'faiths fixes all' are from the Protestant denominations; actions and beliefs are important within Catholicism, that is why, for example, when you go to do reconciliation you not only confess your sins, you also have to do something afterwards for penance; to right the wrong. I've always said that Christianity gives people a licence to do what they want under the guise of 'it doesn't matter'.
