yeah i get what u mean .. na i dont want to form a sect or smth but just try to bring ppl to the right path .. how r we so sure that we are following the right path of islam ? salam ammar . we can be sure if our uderstanding does not contradict the koran . koran should the criterion .

Peace be upon you, All Muslim sects claim to unify God,( although in truth, they are as far from unifying God as the sky is to the earth ) and they all agree on the Koran being the undisputed word of God. So if this is the case..why all the divisions then?? Because its not about unifying based on a TEXT, its about unifying based on ONENESS of BEING. We have to see our sepearte persons as ONE BEING, therfore we can say "We are the FIRST to submit" as do those who reach this level. We can only be the FIRST to submit if we see all as ONE BEING and we have joined this ONENESS.

Salaams, Mahram (singular) is an adjective to describe a man who is Haram on him to marry a certain woman in his life i.e. his mother, his sister, his grandmother, his daughter, his neice, his daughter-in-law, his aunt, etc. So he is a mahram to all those women in his life. So to me (I am a woman) my father is one of my mahaarim (plural), and so are my brothers and uncles and nephews and sons-in-laws, etc.. Take a look at Ayah . It tells which women are forbidden for the man to marry.

Salaamun alaikum all, Al-Quran does not allow polygamy at all anywhere. The ayat 44 (pm translation) is commonly mistranslated to allow polygamy in an exceptional situation but the correct meaning of 44 clearly shows there is no polygamy allowed in that ayat as Allah is talking about marrying off the orphaned women in groups of two, three, or four and not marry them. Salaamun alaikum mz357, On one hand you say that "fainkihoo ma taba lakum min alnisa" translates as "marry women of your choice" 004.003 (O mankind) If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly/fairly with the ALYATAMA/widows then Marry WOMEN of your choice, Two?s, three?s, four?s; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or ma malakat aimanakum that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. On the other hand in your last post you say it means marry off and does NOT mean women of your choice (that is what I was saying too and you are agreeing with me) Its not women of your choice Taba = agreeble/lawful/good. qd p348. Tibna= of their(women's)own free will and being good to you. both words are related with the same root,thus indicating simerlarity. So Allah isn't asking us to enforce it. But on the other hand saying "marry off" becomes an order and no one does such a thing to my knowledge. Simply we don't have a right to marry off others.But only if they wan't to be married. You are clearly contradicting yourself !!! You are the one who kept translating "fainkihoo ma taba lakum min alnisa" as "marry women of your choice" and I disagreed with that and said it means "marry off women who have agreed with you" or "marry off women who have consented with you". This is what I had written in my posts "ma taba lakum" means to "who have agreed with you" (that they be married off). It could also be rendered as "who happily have consented with you" (that they be married off). 44 And if you fear you can?t do justice to the orphans, then marry off the orphaned women/widows who have agreed with you to by two, by three and by four. But if you fear that you will be unfair then (marry off) by one or what your right hand possessed as this is better than getting into hardship. So what do you really think is the correct translation of 44?, the one I quoted or the one you quoted multiple times in your earlier posts and then contradicted it in your last post.

God would teach Kalki Avatar through His messenger (angel) in a cave. God would avail Kalki Avatar with a very speedy horse to ride and travel the whole world and the seven skies. Indication of Buraaque (horse) and Me'raaj (the night when prophet travelled the seven skies). God would also avail Kalki Avatar with divine help. This was particularly proved in the Battle of Uhud. Another dazzling account given about Kalki Avatar was that he would be born on the 12th of a month. Whereas the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.S) was born on the 12th of the Rabiul Awwal (Islamic Calendar). Kalki Avatar would be an excellent horse rider and a swordsman. The author here draws the attention of Hindus that the real days of horses and swords have gone and the present time is of guns and missiles. So it would be foolish on the part of those who still expect Kalki Avatar, who should be an excellent rider and swordsman to come. Peace

Peace, I have heard a lot of questions and stuff aswell, even on these forums there are things like 'are we allowed to be vegeterian?', personally I think a question is a question and it is fine but Islam isn't such a system that we are told what to do and what no and every little thing, there are limits and laws that we should be aware of. Some people like to be programmed like robots but I think diversity and creativity is a beauty and blessing and should be preserved. Nural
