Salaam Wakas and all, http//www.quranicteachings.co.uk/shirk.htm One of the very few articles that sent a shiver down my spine. Thank you for the link. But, readers please be careful with the translation as it got lot of errors. Please check the translation with your own copies. I found many of the aayaats are wrongly interpreted, so please be careful. May Allah guide us all towards the truth pr Mohammed M. Khan

Salaaman LB13, To me "Taqwa" means as in 9115 9115 9115 And it is not for Allah to misguide a people after He guided them, until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Allah is aware of all things. In 9115 I understand 'Taqwa' means 'beware of' or 'get away from', or 'do not involve' or 'do not practice' etc. The term "Ittaqu Allah" means to me "get away from what Allah asked us to get away from" or "do not practice what is prohibited from Allah" or "do not involve in what Allah said wrong". With this, the following can be understood easily, inshaAllah. 726 726 O Children of Adam, We have sent down for you garments to alleviate your bodies, and feathers; and the garment of TAQWA is the best. That is from the signs of Allah, perhaps they will remember. To understand what "Libaas" means in 726 Please visit http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9601949.msg270932#msg270932 May Allah guide us all on His way and increase us in true knowledge pr Mohammed M. Salaam, AOA all Apologies if this topic has been covered before. search function has not provided any answers. I would be grateful for any explanations regarding Where (the actual site(s)) and How the Quranic verses were revealed to Mohd. Regards As per my understanding aayaats are still in the process of revelation as follows 637 637 And they said If only a sign was sent to him from his Lord! Say Allah is able to send a sign, but most of them would not know. 16101 16101 And if We exchange a revelation in place of another revelation; and Allah is more aware of what He is revealing; they say You are making this up! Alas, most of them do not know. The word used in 16101 is 'Yunazzilu' same as in 162 The green highlighted part in 16101 above is used similar to 420 420 420 And if you wish to replace one wife with another, and you have given one of them a large amount, then do not take anything from it. Will you take it by falsehood while it is clearly a sin? 579 579 He is the One who sends down to His servant clear revelations, to bring you out of the darkness and into the light. Allah is Compassionate towards you, Merciful. Same word used as in 162 and 16101 More clear? Exactly same word 'Yunazzilu' is used in 3024 3024 3024 And from His signs is that He shows you the lightning, giving you fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, and He revives the land with it after its death. In that are signs for a people who comprehend. So, 5101 5101 O you who believe, do not ask about things which, if revealed to you, would harm you; and if you ask when the Quraan is being sent down, then they will become clear to you. Allah pardons for them, and Allah is Forgiving, Compassionate. Hope this help, inshaAllah. May Allah guide us all towards the Truth. pr Mohammed M. Khan

Doesn't the label "Muslim" divide you from the rest of humanity? That's what i see when i'm filling a form anyway... I see your point, and I agree...depending on the context, it can even imply division within mankind. But I also agree with Halil too ...one needs a clear way of distinguishing oneself when presenting something. Perhaps, its best to not use labels at all; nonetheless, at least for faith (as opposed to humanity as a whole), i'd prefer to be simply called a "Muslim" OR "Brother" ] God knows best. Salaam. P.S. Sorry for hijacking your thread Wakas

Here is another translation that may give additional insight... 541 - O you, the Messenger "Let not those hypocrites who impel themselves heedlessly to infidelity grieve you at heart; their words and thoughts do not together accord. They declare they have conformed to Islam when in fact their hearts entertain positive unbelief. Nor should you grieve over those of the Jews who are attentive hearers to falsehood which the demagogic rabbins had purposed that they know. Furthermore, they lend their ears to those among them who never had audience of you, who translocation the words of the Sacred Scriptures to alter the intended sense of Allah?s words, and they use their authority to instruct their listeners to accept only the Scriptural passages they discoursed them, and to reject and beware of all else. But the fact is that he whom Allah has justly intended to close his heart?s ears and his mind?s eyes; you shall not be able to provide him with an alternative of Allah?s decision. These and such persons are they whom Allah has declined to cleanse their hearts and minds from moral and spiritual defilement. They must expect disgrace and humiliation here below, and unremitting punishment hereafter.

6512 God who has created seven heavens and the same number of earths; the command is sent down between them; that you may know that God is capable of all things, and that God has encompassed all things with His knowledge. 7 heavens and 7 earths? Seems like this is talking about parallel universes...

So again, Aaron definitely did not receive a scripture, and nor did "from among those whom We guided and chose" at the end. Therefore 1958 cannot be talking about God revealing scripture to these men. You say is the scripture. He got it http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/temp%2002%20%202.213b.gif http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/temp%2002%20%202.213.gif and along with all of them He sent the Book as Statement of Fact, along with+ Personal pronoun for all of them. It is the categorical news given by Allah. No one is excluded from having been given the Book. They all are the Elevated and Chosen Servants of Allah whom Book was given-689. And we are asked to publicly pronounce this fact that we believe in all those Books, See-2136;384, and it is reiterated that the Book was sent with ALL the Messengers-5725]

Yea, and prey they shared after battles was in fact not in killing battles with swords no... It was something else and I do not understand very wall. I do not understand what you are saying, although I have the impression that what you are driving at is that somebody here tell you what you want to hear, which is not what the Qur'an says, but what you fancy the Qur'an should say to suit your purposes. Here is the linguistic analysis of the word AlKitab. is a verbal noun, a masdar and a plural fractus as well. Additonally, it is Marafa. Muaraf bil Lam. You could call it a proper noun for lake of better explanation in English. But it is really to narrow the scope of the noun to a know thing. It is at the measure of verbal noun (masdar) . This measure has several meanings. But in Quran, for this word it would be more appropriate to consider, used as plural fractus. Root of this word is . Which means "he wrote, what he had heard or learned". Now if one were to put this meaning into measure of verbal noun (masdar). it would become "A collection, he wrote from what he heard or learned". Add meaning of particle "Al". Now it becomes "The collection he wrote from what he heard or learned". Peace, Comments please. Badar

http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/041.%20Fusselat/Temp%2001%2041.53c.gif We will keep making it visible to the eyes, of those who do not accept Qur'aan, the signs/knowledge in the Universe and in their own bodies till it becomes evident/manifest for them that this Qur'aan is a statement of proven fact. 4145-54 The Grand Quran has informed that Allah will keep revealing, the knowledge about the universe and human body, and it will become manifest to the people that the Quran is a statement of proven fact. Why would it become manifest that the Quran is a statement of proven fact when man sees/perceives new knowledge about universe and human body? If the things mentioned in a book written earlier in time and space are subsequently found a scientific fact only then it is evident to people that the Book is really a statement of proven facts and not conjectural and presumptive. True, I have a friend who was an islam hater, and became a muslim because all the scientific verses in the quran, he became a sounni and than quran alone. never thaught of him, as an answer to my question , peace

(There is a Hadith according to which the Prophet is quoted to have said that Solomon was so determined to beget for himself a strong and ideal heir that he cohabited with his ninety wives in the same night and declared to his people that each would bear him a son worthy of occupying his throne after his death. But contrary to expectations, none of them conceived except one, who gave birth to a weakling. This, said the Prophet, was because he forgot to say God willing, - or inshallah , - on account of which his wish was not granted by Allah). That stupid rather an idiot who concocted this story even did not care to think for a while about the time required to copulate with ninety women and the duration of a night. And that stupid also did not know that men require a period of time- a gap before they could incline for going second time for sex. Attributing any thing to any Messenger of Allah which is not specifically written in Qur'aan is a haram act. No sane and rational person announces in public about his intention of having sex with his wife on any particular night.

Lol @ the title. e. Now when I was reading this, what came to mind is the sunni belief that stoning for adultery is ordered by God. I was wondering if anyone else things it falls in the category of demonic teachings ordered by a religious system on Earth. I don't think in Iran adultery is punished with lapidation out of any sunni belief. Unless you mean that if it is sunni it is miserable, but if it is something else it is not. Salaam
